The room was comfortable and the bed was cosy
The fact that if you go down to the dining room after 9 there are no pastries available, which is the one thing that my grand daughter loves, you need to keep some back for the later breakfast sitting as those people are also paying full price for a breakfast

The food was exceptional with great vegan options. The staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. Great sized rooms.

room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good with good choice
Earlier arrival time and later departure time. Check in from 4pm is very late and check out by 11am is very early especially as many guests have attended a wedding the day before.

The staff were friendly and ,by prebooking the bar,we could dine while watching the rugby( many people were turned away as it was super busy) The room was a good size and the bathroom was clean and inviting-the shower was fab.
During our stay, with 3 young kids, the fire alarms went off twice between 10 and 11pm. This woke the kids both times and meant our night was very disrupted unfortunately .
The softplay area needs a good deep clean
The pool was dated and the dressing room was cold

the staff were abit over the top asking if we needed drinks every 2 mins at lunch but they did everything to rectify it so was happy

The best was how family friendly hotel it was. From arrival the kiddies soft play and park outside the swimming pool my kids loved it.
Had dinner in the restaurant and the band were so good!

it served its purpose as we needed to stay close to the castle for a wedding! the bar was nice and we had good food there
the rooms needs some sprucing up, there were various stains on the carpet and the walls and the beds were not comfortable.

Great facilities. Shannigans was superb food. Staff very friendly. Ideal for families
Bit slow at times in shannigans and hard to catch team attention.
They have kids movies 7pm. Would be great if there was 2 movies. Other local places have a kids club from 8 to 10.30pm.
The inn was amazing, hard to pick things to improve on

The staff are super helpfull and friendly. Bathrooms newly refurbished and nice, room was spacious for a family of four. Breakfast was very tasty.
The biggest dissapointment for me was that the gate to the drumoland castle grounds was closed so I could not go for a run in the morning.Decor in the rooms and coridors were a bit dated.

The bedrooms were warm and cosy and very clean.
The changing areas in the leisure centre was freezing. It was like getting dressed outside. The meals we had in the restaurant was very tasty but cold every time.

Lovely hotel and staff. Food was great. Room was a nice temperature. Not too hot at night which was nice. I had a lovely bath. I didn't use the leisure facilities but heard they were good.
Hairdryer was sticky and grubby. Would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room. Apart from this everything was perfect.

Such a lovely hotel, location, food and staff! A lovely surprise find!
Rather cold room during the night. During frosty weather so heating would have been appreciated. The corner of the room showed damp problem, easy to clean up!

Breakfast was top notch and great service which is sadly lacking in many hotels these days, two young boys working the breakfast shift were very friendly and very good at their jobs, kudos to the people training them.
The Room are a little dated but with covid and lockdowns perhaps the budget could not extend to this.ve

Staff friendly and helpful at breakfast. Food selection for breakfast was reasonable and very good quality. Plentiful top-ups of tea and coffee. We did not dine in the restaurant for dinner.
Room was cold, we asked for heat to be turned on, but unfortunately it was not. Bathroom also very chilly. No thermostat in rooms for individual control. Although clean, the bedroom was very basic with cheap looking fitting and not at all like the promotional photos. While the reception area and bar were well appointed, the corridors and stairs and the bedrooms could do with a revamp.

Hotel was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. Good value for money. Lovely playground outside
Went off peak season in early Oct so soft play area closed all week. Swimming pool changing area cold for kids. Breakfast was nice but all toast pre made and kept hot which was not ideal. Room would have been nice if had fridge and bath.
