Alles was gewoon excellent.
Enkel een suggestie: de klassieke muziek die 's avonds werd afgespeeld in de patio: dat was vooral westerse klassieke muziek. Persoonlijk vind ik dat in de Ratchamankha vooral oosterse muziek mag klinken.

Loved the hotel from the decor to the food. Was an oasis of calm in the bustle of chang Mai.
Pillows - too hard. We both didn’t sleep great because we found the pillows to be too firm for our liking.

The property is absolutely stunning. The buildings and furniture are beautiful. The pool is incredible. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet
They have a problem with the water heater in some of the rooms - and the water has a bad metallic (rusty) smell. We had to change rooms. It happened in more than one room, but they're working on it. They tried to accommodate, and the third room was better. The breakfast is okay for food quality. It was not as nice as in similar properties in Thailand. The service at breakfast and the setup were fantastic. The food itself was just so-so - both in quality and quantity.

Amazing boutique hotel! Magically quiet in the old town Center! And it’s beautifully designed and very detailed oriented!
The shower room was very small.

This is a very special place, we loved walking thru courtyards, looking at the greenery fountains and pools. It is very calm there, and the dining experience is wonderful, sitting outdoors, delicious food, birds chirping. We would like to stay for a month!

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Chiang Mai. Service was exceptional, location central, facilities awesome. We eat in the restaurant - very fine dining and reasonable prices. I particularly liked the open fire during breakfast and the breakfast itself which was made to order. Pool is really relaxing and the communal areas very zen and chill. For the price the best top end hotel I stayed in during my Thai holiday.
I have no negative comments - as close to perfect stay as you could come.

The atmosphere was so nice.
There is a library! My daughter studied there.
The staffs didn’t greet when we walked by them.
Breakfasts were not so delicious.

I stayed at the ANANTARA for the 5th time. This time I tried the RATCHAMANKHA CNX - its 1/3 or the price and offers the same if not better. I should not report this as I travel often into this area and this place should be kept a secret.
All fine perfect - except when I returned I wanted to book again into the RACHAMANKHA but it was fully booked.

WiFi not stable, for this price not good enough

The hotel was a haven of peace and tranquility. The decor was indescribably beautiful and tasteful, so much so that it was difficult to leave it to go out to visit the town and surrounding areas. The location couldn't be any more central, and it was QUIET.
The air conditionner made so much noise that it made it difficult to sleep. I also found the pillows to be uncomfortable and seemed to battle with them all night.

Wonderful included breakfast (made to order!). The property was like staying in a Lanna manor, and felt very luxurious. The service was as good as we’ve come to expect in Thailand, and we were also provided a welcome drink at the bar! The complementary bug spray was also appreciated.
The bathrooms were a bit tricky with the door, and the bed was firm for my taste. The AC was also quite loud. It could be a difficult property if you have accessibility concerns, as the stairs into the room and the small door may be difficult to manage.

the architecture and the rooms.

staff were excellent. good amount of space on site.
luxury was more thru the staff than anything else.
location was good without being great within old city.
restaurant was better than anticipated in the evening.
while our room was nice unfortunately we had a room up steep flight of stairs and I had an injured leg. seemed odd to have us up so many stairs for the price paid. Glad we only had luggage for a few days from
Bangkok as the stairs would have been impossible with more.
we travel a lot to hotels in Asia and we found this very strange for $ paid and reputation alignment.
if I’m up stairs I would anticipate a view or less $.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel. So luxurious and gorgeous detail - the architecture, plants, bathroom, the room itself! I felt like royalty. Plus so quiet!
A little private balcony would have been nice,
but lots of spaces to enjoy! Also, add wine to your mini bar!
