Charming hotel with a perfect location. Very interesting building with tones of character, well decorated and furnished. The breakfast was okay, but it was nice to have coffee when we wanted it.
Staff are not that well informed for things to do or how to organise them

Molto consigliato!

The staff is friendly and the hotel is located in the centre of Riobamba. They gave us a free boxed lunch which was really nice.
We did not know that we needed to reserve the spa in advance and that you needed to pay for it in addition to the room fee (they did not tell us in advance). There was a bit of mold on the bathroom wall.

Amazing place! Lovely location, brilliant rooms, cosy and beautiful building!
The staff was very kind. Nevertheless, some of the waiters at the restaurant need more training, I mean proper training so the service is improved. The waiting staff need training urgently.

it’s seriously stunning! so beautiful! with friendly staff, a delicious restaurant & spa services. very clean with great WiFi and a great location thats walkable to all main Riobamba attractions
restaurant & spa are both very pricey, but I guess that should be expected!

This was the second room, which was much better, after I asked them to move me. The staff were very helpful and courteous in getting me moved to a room that was quiet. Probably the best staff I have encountered.
Make sure you specify a room deeper in back, away from the main entrance/lobby. ... Or you will hear EVERYTHING. Floors are extremely slippery, especially if you are only wearing socks. Breakfast was STILL off... Juice was watered down, bread/buns were stale, and the yogurt and cheese tasted off. My brother said the coffee tasted off as well. (I don't drink coffee.)
There was only one outlet with easy access for charging devices, and that was in the bathroom.

Neat and a lot of character.
2nd room was much better than the first, but also in a very different part of the hotel.
Had to change rooms. 1st room I could hear EVERYTHING. Road noise (understandable) but the lobby fountain, conversations in the lobby, silverware getting dumped at 10:30 at night, and the incessant muzak being played seemed to be amplified through the walls. My window was a view into the hallway and was covered by an old changing barrier on the outside. Breakfast was off.... The juice was watered down, the bread was stale. The yogurt and cheese tasted off.

beautiful classic building , the beds were very comfortable . the spa in the basement is a nice addition .
the breakfast could use a different kind of bread . there is only white toast bread. please add some whole grain bread and maybe oats . the coffee was quite thin too.

The hotel is well located in the centre of town and our room (20) had a balcony and a peaceful garden view. The staff were welcoming, extremely helpful and friendly, and were happy to speak English when our Spanish failed us.

We love Mansion Isabela and always stay there when I visit Riobamba. The rooms are so comfortable and the beds huge. It's decorated in a beautifully simple yet classic rustic style which makes you feel really at home. The staff are great and always willing to help with a smile!
This time we were given margarine instead of butter with the bread, which for me, an English person, is not good. When I asked for butter i was told it had run out.

The property was beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious.
Management of this hotel is not well-traimed and the service is extremely slow which people should be prepared for

The location was great close to everything, ended upgrading to a suite with a free standing Tub in the room. Great size room, comfortable bed and the breakfast was brought up in the morning and was amazing.
