Aggressive unpleasant behaviour by host on arrival. Paying for a day's breakfast and accommodation we did not have. Difficulty parking.

We hadn’t realises that the room wasn’t serviced. No bed make or change of towels, although new towels could be requested. Strict adherence to a a pm check in seemed a bit weird. Due to council restriction, parking is restricted.

The hosts are extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. Amazing breakfast, lovely hotel and in perfect location.

The owners and staff were all lovely. Breakfast was a real treat. Good choices and freshly made, a great way to start the day. Well located for getting public transport, wandering down to the lake or around the town.

The room was a bit smaller than it appeared in the photos.

We found the stairs quite daunting....for an elderly couple! Parking was very restricted because of council regulation; we realise that this is out of the owner's control.

Ivan and Holly were the best hosts at this lovely inn in a perfect location in Keswick. They were very helpful with suggestions for restaurants and hikes. Every morning they prepared and served a delicious breakfast in the pretty breakfast room. The B&B is walking distance to the lake and launch boat that can take you across the lake for hiking. Excellent restaurants are just around the corner. (We loved Fellpack and The Pocket.) The Theatre by the Lake is just a five minute walk too.

The location was in the heart of the town and in the quieter area close to the lake. The property was immaculate, stylish and extremely comfortable. Room was exactly as shown in the photo used and had the most comfortably bed ever. The bathroom was very stylish, lovely and warm and provided locally produced cleansing products. There was every choice you could wish for for breakfast. The owners were delightful and always found a moment to chat and take an interest in their guests.

Everything. It was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. Room was warm, clean and comfortable. Really convenient for town centre and Derwent water was right on the doorstep.

The location is ideal as it is so close to the town centre. Breakfast options were many and were really good. The staff and the owners are really nice and friendly.

The flush button of the toilet was broken but It was kindly fixed by a staff when the issue was raised. It was also an expensive single room- however, I booked over the New Year’s weekend.
