Schöne Unterkunft außerhalb des Trubels

Schöne Zimmer, schönes Bad, saubere Pool-Anlage, insgesamt sehr schönes Ambiente, SEHR NETTES und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig gelegen, ein gutes Stück außerhalb der Stadt.

Das Bad sieht zwar toll aus, man muss aber sehr aufpassen, wo man hintritt, damit man sich nicht wehtut, aufgrund der Steine. Die Fenster und Türen sind leider nicht richtig dicht, sodass Stechmücken gerne ins Zimmer gekommen sind. Ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett gab es leider auch nicht.

A fabulous rustic homestay

This is a completely charming rustic place run by the extended family who lives there. It's exceptional value for money and the swimming pool is a delight. We ate some meals, which were delicious and the staff did everything in their power to make the stay as comfortable as possible. As a lie cost option it's great. Not in the city but Grab taxis are cheap so don't worry about that.

It is not luxury or glamorous at all but that's it's charm. Just super chill. So if you are looking for something smart this is not for you.

The owners are so helpful and chill out! The location is the perfect stay if you want to stay out of the traffic jam of the city but still easy starting point to visit it

Astuti Gallery Homestay

The location is very far from the noise of downtown yogyakarta. but you won't regret it. well managed Homestay. the staff is very polite and friendly. the rooms are designed with art, neatly arranged, clean, and spacious. Breakfast!!! Extraordinary. different menu every day delicious and very tasty. western and Indonesian style. they also provide a menu with many choices. the wifi was fast, and the ac was well maintained.. the bed was comfortable. Pet friendly Homestay and so the staffs. they also have two very friendly, obedient dogs... Rocky... im gonna miss u....

Superb

Lovely garden with a nice pool - really nice to hang out and cool down. The owners are really nice and helpful. It is outside the City, you should be aware of organizing transport, if you wann to get around. But if you want a nice place to hang far from the loud and busy City this is the place to be!

Passable

The staff, the family host is super nice and hospitable. They were flexible for my request. I feel they are very good people

The rooms are old and really dirty/dusty with full of insects and even bed bugs. I am very clean person and it's hard for me to handle it. I understand maybe there's no opportunity for renovation but cleaning doesn't require special expanses.

Calm but not clean

It was a nice place to return to after a day in the city and the host agreed to watch our suitcases after check-out for a few hours.

It was not clean and the toilet in the bathroom was leaking. The room was not very clean. The AC was in an inconvenient place and the host tried to be helpful but forgot to mention that the main tourists spots we mentioned we wanted to visit were closed on Monday (of course they can’t help that, but they could have mentioned it). The hotel is in an area with a lot of mosques that woke us up around 4am. Due to changed plans we also arrived a day later and the host didn’t mention anything to compensate us in anyway, we even paid for the breakfast on the day we weren’t there yet.

Astuti Gallery Homestay was a comfortable place to stay and a great value.

The small pool in front of our room was perfect for our kids, age 7 and 11. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the room decor and the paintings all around the property.

The bathroom was nice overall, but the shower could use a new showerhead. It would also be nice to have a soap dispenser next to the sink.

Superb

The owner and her family were wonderful hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. We got a lot of help and advise about things to do in the area. The grounds were tranquil and lovely to come back to after a busy day out in the city.

being outside of the city means you had to book travel to and from (which was easy with car hire app) but on the positive side it was really nice to come back to the quiet area outside the city for a drink and swim in the lovely pool.

Location quite good, staff Helpfull

Bath room need maintenance more, AC does not work well, cleanliness for the bed room poor, TV does not good enough, owner's pets (Dog) can be problem for the guess, hot water and water pressure not good.

Very good

The manager and is staff are very guest oriented and kind. We had a problem and they gave us support to fix the problem. They also provided us transfer to visit temples and dinner when we arrive very late. The location is very typical and romantic

4 Star?

The staff were very friendly and made an effort to chat to us. While their English may not have been easy to understand at times, we appreciated that they tried to connect with us. We thought the food was great, although perhaps a bit overpriced from what what we experienced elsewhere.

We were a bit disappointed with the room all in all. It is listed as a 4 star so we expected a certain level of comfort that didn't seem to exist. While the room was big, it seemed like it hadn't been used in awhile; it was a bit dusty and things were a little aged. There were also a few minor things which became quite irritating, such as no rubbish bin in the room, no tissues, no workable lamp and dull lighting. In addition to these problems, the toilet was leaking water on the floor, the shower water temperature was sketchy (mostly cold) and the bath drain was blocked. Overall, we felt we paid much more than the quality of our stay deserved. P.S. We recommend you organise your own tour rather than going through the hotel. We ended up paying a lot and not getting much, which we only realised later on when we took another tour at our next location.
