It was such a quaint historical building. It has all the necessary modern amenities without taking away from the vintage feel of the place. The view from our room was lovely. Our host left a lovely personal touch of easter eggs amongst our continental breakfast. The location was excellent, as we were right at the centre of the Tilba shops being less than a minutes walk from iconic locations like the lolly shop and the tilba dairy shop.
The room was smaller than expected, but that just contributed to the cozy charm of the place. The staircase was very narrow and close to the ceiling - this wasn't a big issue but just something to be aware of if you are a tall person.

Breakfast was ok. Dishwasher not working or not connected
Unable to sit on the toilet and to close the door

Lovely old fashioned cottage with great views
Needs a bigger heater - was getting cold after the sun went down

very quiet, property well built which minimised any noise from others.
we happened to stay on a hot day and aircon would have been nice. the roof fans were good though.

We loved absolutely everything about the 2 Storey B&B at Tilba. To start with, they offered an early check-in when we mentioned we were arriving at 12, which was surprising and lovely. When we arrived, Claire was welcoming and friendly and showed us to our quaint and cosy room, with tasteful old world furnishings and a wonderfully soft bed that looked over the valley, with bucolic views of cows and such. The shower was hot and the pressure excellent. We had a quick bite to eat at the bakery - we both had cheese and cauliflower pies and were pleasantly surprised, as a few years ago the pies had gone down in quality. Now they are excellent again! Claire recommended that we book a restaurant for dinner a couple of days before our arrival (either the Dromedary Hotel or the Sweetwater Smokehouse Bar and Grill). We chose Sweetwater (just across the road from the B&B) and were blown away by their food and cocktails - really amazing food, all based on smoky flavours with every single flavour perfectly balanced. Hats off to Chris and the team there. After an evening stroll through town (everything is shut at that time, apart from the pub and Sweetwater) and a walk up the hill to take in the breathtaking views and breathe clean country air, we retired. Our room was completely silent and we slept very soundly. In the morning, we discovered breakfast treats waiting for us in the fridge - croissants, fruit bread, butter, jam, cheese, juices, proper coffee and even a teapot with leaf tea. Local specialties of Tilba cheese, Tilba milk and Tilba fudge were also included and much appreciated. After leaving we drove down to Tilba beach (via Sherringham Lane), which was completely empty, and had a quick and refreshing jump in the ocean before recommencing our travels. Thank you so much for a relaxing and delightful stay in Tilba. We will most certainly be back!
It was all amazing. I couldn't fault it. The bathroom will probably get better flooring one day - it was a kind of 70s vinyl that doesn't age well and was the only thing that wasn't perfect. It honestly didn't bother me, but if you're looking for something to complain about...

A quaint and historic building right in town. delightfully decorated , clean and comfortable.
such a lovely host with fresh tilba goodies in the fridge for us.
woke to a busker outside our door and markets across the road and a wonder through the historic village of tilba filled with amazing shops and food .
surrounded by National
parks walks and beaches this place is magical .
The building has 3 separate bedrooms with share facility lounge and kitchen .
would recommend a group stay.

Wonderful central location in a historical building. Central living room and kitchen were delightful. Continental breakfast was nice and fudge in the room on arrival was a lovely touch.
While everything in the room was clean, the curtain were very dusty which did lead to hayfever.

Lovely breakfast and being able to walk all around Tilba due to proximity was great - will be back again.

Breakfast was very poor ,stale bread, croissants, juice, cheese, yoghurt all in the fridge to make ourselves . Sorry but for $200 per night ,I expected better
I booked after looking at the advertising, the photos are not current
No parking ,told to park on street,no clock radio ,no board games . All would have been great as the only TV in the place had broken ( I believe storm damage so no fault of theirs) But a radio or some dvds would have been nice .
A small dining table with 4 chairs , 6 guests in residence ? All over very poor and definitely not rated 4 stars. False advertising.

Location is lovely
Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Bedside lamp, tv remote did not work. Place hadn’t been cleaned properlyregretable

Wonderful location in an iconic village. Easy access to favourite places: Mystery Bay, Narooma, Bermagui
The interior looked and felt rather tired. With further TLC it could be exceptional and is clearly a work in progress. I wish you well in your endeavours. Sad to miss out on Croissants one morning. A drying rack for dishes in the kitchen would help.

Breakfast was great, thank you!

Top of the town accomodation. Comfortable and clean. Old yes but quirky and enjoyable. Friendly owners with a great in your fridge breakfast.
Old, comfortable with friendly owners who care about you. Breakfast in the fridge was first class. I actually went down the stairs in the middle of the night and made myself a cup of camomile tea. Thanks for the opportunity.

Beautiful place to stay. Perfectly situated on the Main Street. The room we stayed in was the old Post office. beautiful views of the jersey cows out the window. Had a great meal at the hotel an easy walk only a couple of doors up. Breakfast was a very generous stay including some lovely options from the Tilba dairy. we enjoyed so much that we purchased some more of their products to take home with us.

The classic character setting
In the process of fixing g up, but some things need immediate attention

Lovely historical property in the heart of town, with beautiful views. Enjoyed the local fudge and continental breakfast with gorgeous Tilba yogurt.
Bathroom was small but sweet, and TV under repair (but wifi meant our iPads worked fine!!)
