Very nice pool and comfortable beds.
The staff was simply rude (except for the bellman, who was very nice). They didn't acknowledge us for several minutes when we came to the front desk. The first time they were on the phone (but didn't even look at us), and the second time they were on the computer for several minutes before looking at or speaking to us. Then they put us in the farthest possible room away from everything. I had also requested a first-floor room because of physical limitations and they said there were none available, so we needed to climb stairs. They were just very unpleasant in general.

A lot of people our age from Canada
There was sewer backing up outside the hotel and when we left we asked if we could get a ride one block away because we didn’t want to drag our bags through the sewer, and the staff refused to help us.

Room was fine, view was good however I would not recommend this hotel due to poor customer service. See below.
We booked and paid in full until March 30. We checked out early (March 26). I was told by the front desk that they would look into getting us a refund for the unused days. That never happened. I have tried unsuccessfully to reach this hotel since we left as I was told by booking.com that the hotel is responsible for refunds. Thoroughly disappointed that I am unable to get through to the hotel via phone (I have called countless times)and direct messaging (numerous messages) via their web site. Leaves me with a bad taste towards the hotel.

liked the large pool. the garden and grounds were beautiful.

Staff/service and pool area were great!
Music played around pool by some visitors was too loud. Hotel staff should have requested it be turned down.

pool is fantastic
the massage was great
meals were mediocre

great location, nice staff
unfortunately the restaurant was extremely under staffed and it took three hours for our group to get dinner.

the value was just acceptable when comparing it to comprable properties in the area. The grounds and the pool were immaculate. The room itself was a good size and pretty comfortable. The ac worked well and we liked that it had a ceiling fan in the room. The shower was good, good water pressure and hot water.
The staff seemed unwilling or unable to help. The snack area is not open regularly and the restaurant staff were preoccupied on their phones. Since the hotel was a bit out of town we saw squandered chances to earn extra income by offering some convenience for the clientele staying there.

Breakfast not included. Went to town for meals
Inadequate number of shade umbrellas around pool and these need to be tilting not fixed as they are now. False advertising, tennis is not available courts have been converted to pickleball only and access to these requires $7cdn a.m & p.m/person.

The pool was large enough to swim laps. The king room was spacious and bright. The resort was beautiful and not crowded and it was a very short walk to town and the beach.
Everything was wonderful

I loved the big room, the fantastic pool and the amazing staff. The daily pickleball was terrific and I met so many wonderful new friends!
The breakfast buffet was great, but I wish they had chicken tacos or enchiladas for dinner.

The landscaping and pool are well maintained.
The room and decor are from 1985'ish. Poor lighting in the room, basically 1 ceiling light.

The room was very clean and bed was comfy. Food was exceptional and at a reasonable cost. The best part is the pool which has an ample space and clean water. My kid loved it and so do we.

The staff & management...

Pool and grounds are lovely. Room is very comfortable and nice size. Beds are very comfortable.
Shower had little pressure or hot water. It would be nice to have a mini fridge. Also they have pickle ball courts but offer no paddles or balls to play.

A friendly community of similar travelers.
Badly needs upgrading. Expensive for a 3 star Mexican hotel.

Comfortable Mexican-style hotel in nice grounds. Beds were excellent and the AC worked well. Friendly and helpful staff. Good options for breakfast. Excellent value.
could have used a hair dryer in the room

Friendly and helpful staff
Nice Pool
Checkout was easy
Nice grounds
We asked for Queen beds, 3 had twins, we had a slight upgrade at no cost to our room, queen and view. Much appreciated.
5.0
Clean, comfortable, nice pool and grounds, quiet.
A bit inconveniently located from the beach.
With some notable exceptions the staff was not friendly, especially towards non-Mexican guests. The breakfast service (when the one exceptional staff was not working) was very poor. We were pretty much ignored after the first cup of coffee and food arrived. Foreigners seemed to be the only ones in the place getting their own coffee.
The management seems to have the same rude attitude as the staff they manage, with an added air of superiority and contempt.

The staff were syper nice and accommodating. Very helpful and friendly.
The open air dining room is very pleasant and the pool is fabulous.
There is a friendly vibe around the hotel. It provides an atmosphere where you can meet other guests easily.
The pickleball right there is great!
There is a very nice open air feeling with views in the background.
A good short walk into town.
I would like better coffee with real milk. That's all.
