Ummm...struggling to think of something
It was not clear, when booking, that air conditioning would be charged extra (at 5 EURO/person/day!!). Wifi was non-existent and there was no sofa-bed, something which was clearly promised in the booking info. The pool was small and shared with many others, which was not made clear in the promotional material and images. The host's attitude to our unhappiness with the above was very negative indeed. Would not recommend this place for a stay.

Location where I wanted to be
It was dirty, no appropriate utensils, not great start, run down and unloved.
Not as desired.

nice pool after it had been cleaned. great location. staff very responsive
noise from apartment above was too much. bed side lamp had no socket to plug into. tv was taken away after first night with no explanation and wasn’t replaced

The house was ok and clean
The outside area not at all clean or taken care of. The house was comfortable but could hear anything the neighbour houses did or talked. Last would like to say that when you rent an area and they say a check out time you have no right to enter with a key without your guests leaving. So check out time is 11 and at 9.45 the host took her key opened the house we rented and asked when we are leaving. Very unprofessional very unpolite and DEFINATELY forbidden to enter with your key without checking if guests have left the premises. Will definitely not visit this premises again!

Instant Hot water any time.
Clean room.
Quiet place.
Remote Control of the AC was out of batteries. Had to replace them with the TV remote control all when we needed to use it.
There was a humidity smell near the cough. Not sure where it was coming from.

The cottage was very pleasant, with a good selection of indoor kitchen items and good beds and mattresses. It was clean and had enough space for 2 people, but would be a little tight for four, if in the colder period of the year. The outdoor kitchen area, seating area and pool area were very nice.
There were two main problems: the internet (wifi) connection does not stretch through the whole property. This could be easily rectified using properly sited indoor wifi singal boosters/antennae, and given the there is a TV with only Cypriot channels and no satellite, the internet is nowadays vital for general entertainment.
The other issue (which I am assured is only in the period before Easter and to be fair is not the fault of the owners, who are as annoyed as everyone else) is the keenness of the local youth to let off firecrackers through the night (e.g. 11pm, 2am, 2:30pm), waking me regularly. One at 5:30am shook the windows of the villa. I'd avoid this property in the week before Easter again.

We ended up staying in the two bedroom apartment and absolutely loved it. You could sun lounge and relax on the balcony and despite some windy days it seemed quite protected from the wind.
If you're there during the cooler months, you must try the sauna. It was one of the highlights of our winter stay 🙂
Location was very quiet. Maybe at night you can hear the odd dog barking but since it's in a small village it's very quiet.
Kitchen had nearly everything we needed including a full sized fridge, and two electric hobs, kettle and toaster. I would have appreciated a microwave because you'll find in Cyprus, the restaurants always give you more than you can eat! but we were still able to reheat using the pots etc. Kitchen also had everything regarding cutlery, and other kitchen equipment, chopping boards, pots pans. Even a Cypriot coffee pot.
Hosts gave us a lovely cake to celebrate the new years and it was really nice!
Some reviews commented on all the additional charges being posted up everywhere, but it was just a few A4 laminated paper. Maybe they can put it into a welcome folder including some ideas on what to do/ see around the village. But it wasn't as bad as I was expecting after reading the reviews.
Bed was almost too comfortable and had difficulty convincing myself to get up now and not in another 10, 20, 30 mins! Very warm also, extra bedding was provided so able to sleep with heating off.
You definitely need a car for this property. This isn't necessarily a negative just advice.
For beaches, the nearest one is a bit rough and stoney but the white stones are very pretty and great for sunset. There's a fish restaurant/ beach club. Maybe in summer it it's nicer to swim? Down the road, the Dragon Fruit Farm was the best Dragon Fruit I've had in my life! So you must go!
The best swimmable, toddler friendly, shallow sandy Beach in my opinion is at St Raphael. If you like walking or running, there's a fantastic promenade there, you can literally walk/run for ages, I think it might go all the way to limmasol. There's also a number of beach clubs) cafes) restaurants in St Raphael. And an archaeological site nearby too.
After seeing Limmasol I was very glad we booked here, despite having to drive to get to places. It's possible to leave the car and explore the village but if you want some beachtime then you'll want a car.
Nearest supermarket is across the road but it's on the small side so might not have everything you need. Nearest non-Euronet ATMs are about 20mins each way. Which is a bit time consuming when you need to pay additional charges such as air-conditioning/heating etc in cash. So bring cash with you if possible. It would be great if you could book this option when booking the apartment itself to avoid getting the cash.
Just a note that in winter, while the pool is open, and you can sometimes find it warm enough swim in the sea (borderline!), unfortunately as the pool isn't heated it was much too cold for me even in full sun (except after being in the sauna for 15 mins, then it was possible but you couldn't stay long!)

great location in the centre of Cyprus, supermarket 50m from the house, local taverna always open 40m from the house, very good restaurant in the village 150m from the house
kitchen equipmnet could be better, table for breakfast on terrace is too small

Apartments are nice and cosy. The owner offered us at the arrival an upgrade to the higher apartment (extra price of 10€ per day), we got lovely to rooms flat with nice mountain and village view. We didn't use the pool but it looked good and clean. We had a problem with our neighbours but the owner solved this issue perfectly and we could enjoy our stay at cottage house. Thank you Eleni :-)
Please keep in mind that three is an extra charge for air conditioning - 4€ per day.

The accommodation is in a quiet, beautiful village. There is a restaurant and a small shop around the corner. If you need peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Eleni is very friendly and gave me good tips. (She even picked me up at the airport). Eleni is also a very good cook. Her famous Moussaka is really the best Moussaka in the world! I enjoyed every single bite to the fullest. I will gladly come again.

Eleni is the perfect host. She is very friendly, helps you with all your questions and provides you with everything you might need.

The host Elina and her son Stephanous were extremely helpful and the cottages have been renovated from an old building. The village itself has one Taverna which is literally 50 yards from the location as is a small supermarket which stocks most items.

Its unique character from when it was a Cypriot farm house, staone arches and floors, wooden doors and windows. The swimming pool althought not huge was very nice to relax in. You can always call the owner if you have an issue and they will come in short time to help. Very friendly and helpful.
A little bit secluded a car is definately a must have.

Host charges additionally 4€/day for AC which was not stated on the reservation

A perfect location for an experience, with 100 years old stones cottages. Cosy and quiet area, for a really nice stay.
Location is a bit far from all the nice Cyprus beach and restaurants, my recommendation is to always have a car.

The location was lovely and quiet in close proximity to some lovely beaches. Eleni and her husband were really friendly! The property had everything we needed, we really enjoyed our stay.

The location was pretty great. A few steps down the road you end up in a great view for sunset. A good swimming pool and outdoor relaxing area. The staff are quite reachable and helpful at all times. Car is absolutely needed to reach and move around.
Rooms and toilets needs some refurbishment. The classic studio we stayed had no natural light entering the room due to lack of proper windows. There is some notice everywhere for what is additionally charged.

The size of the doublet room..
The quiteness of the compound.
You could see that some parts of the cottage were updated, but some need an update, specially the interior of our cottage was a little outdated. Wifi connection was bad.
In the morning a lot of traffic passes the cottage.

The property was very nice as its traditional ‘Cyprus style’ looking!

Owner Petros was extremely nice and helpful with all our requests. He helped us with an extra adaptor for charging our devices, provided us with a coffee-maker and even some Cyprus coffee. The place is in a very nice village in the hills above Limassol but a great base for exploring Cyprus, especially if you have a car. The village also has two very nice restaurants and a supermarket. The house is quite spacious, has everything we needed and the yard with the pool were very nice. One of the top beaches in the area was nearby, too.
Room 1A has a big door/window looking directly at the church with zero sound insulation. It was extremely unpleasant to be woken up two of our four nights by 4 separate church bells (~6:00, 6:30, 8:10, 8:30). It is also next to a main street and even in this quiet village there are a lot of SUVs and other very noisy machines. If you are a light sleeper like me, rest would be impossible which spoiled our vacation. Boiler for hot water was very little but sufficient. I did not like all the signs around the room for everything that has to be paid additionally - 4EUR/day for AC, 30EUR for late checkout, 10EUR for sauna... I understand the problem with electricity in Cyprus but it was just too much and made the room look a notice board of a supermarket.

the host was lovely and so welcoming, she cooked for us on the first night we arrived and it was delicious! the pool and surroundings is stunning.
we didn’t have a car and it is definitely needed for this location! although the host was lovely and dropped us down to the bus stop which helped a lot :)

The location of the accommodation is in a really nice village not far from the beach, with an auto we could have reached all parts of Cyprus rather easily, the pool was great, the hosts were amazing. Top top top!
The rooms were a bit dark but that didn't matter as we had a great terrace to chill on. Small stuff like wine opener, sugar, salt, pepper, oil were missing. Other than this, perfect!

very cozy place with a beautiful view and lovely hosts, nice pool.
additional charge for A/C in a country with temperatures ranging from 27 degrees Celusis at night to 38 during the day is in my opinion not acceptable.
