San Martin is located in a very central location to the Cathedral. The host was very helpful and obliging. We felt “at home” there and would stay again if the opportunity arose.

Staff was very kind and helpful. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags there before checking in.
The bathroom had an odor coming from the pipes and loud noise at night.

No kitchen with tall faucet to fill water bladders (for walking Camino).

Despite the off-putting entrance, this was one of the cleanest, modern and most comfortable rooms I have stayed in since starting the Camino.
The reception wasn’t open until 9 am in the morning and i wanted to pay my bill and leave much earlier.

Light and clean room in an excellent location. In a street with lots of foot traffic until the early hours, but the doubly glazed balcony doors shut out the noise very effectively. Coffee machine at reception a plus. Friendly hosts.
No ventilation with the balcony doors closed

The whole room as the bathroom were spotless, not even a stain despite white being the predominant colour in the room (blankets, walls, curtains and tables). No sound could be heard during the night and the staff was really supportive, handing me out a map with points of interest around the city and they were also very warm to me. The room had also a television and a standing fan just in case if it was needed during the night.
The door had a little opening which light could pass through the night but it is negligible, I could sleep perfectly

The host was gracious and accommodated last minute requests exceptionally. He was very kind and professional, and the room was clean and comfy.

Last minute booking but everything was really smooth. Warm welcome, really good location in the city center and the room was fresh and clean. I stayed only one night but highly recommend.

I like a room with a view & a balcony. Comfortable bed, chairs, bright bathroom. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops, Leon Cathedral, Basilica of San Isidoro & etc. Best churros in town (Heladeria Confiteria). Marcos (Fabrica de patatas fritas) for authentic olives, nuts, pan, candies, chocolate, sardines, cookies & etc. Their homemade potato chips are crisp. Hostal San Martin is in the centre of eateries & Leon landmark. The host is a very sweet, kind & helpful guy. I borrowed a marker pan to write on my black stone from home to be placed on Cruz de Ferro.
Don't have clothes drying rack & don't have miniature shampoo, body gel.
