Instructions to get to the property and collection of keys were good. Had information about Wifi on the wall and emergency contact.
The hot water system was not consistent as it's on for a minute and then cold. Whilst the caretaker tried cleaning the filter, it doesn't appear to be a flow issue but rather with the faulty Hot Water System and could not get gas fitter on the weekend to fix it. So showers were not comfortable from that perspective.

the cottages are on a big property with (according to the owners) over 6kms of walking tracks, the kids loved exploring the property especially a few special places indicated by "pink tape" (you'll have to find out what that means for yourself)
NOTE: these are quite minor things :-)
limited internet connectivity (NBN satellite) means no video streaming
aircon/heater only in the main room, woodfire heater didn't seem to be giving too much warmth - this meant the bed and bathrooms on the other end of the cottage could be a little chilly :-)

Quiet location within easy drive of Denmark (20mins) & Albany (30mins), allowing to take in all the sites on a long weekend for our first visit to the area. Young children would enjoy the property.
Act of God (storm, worst in 60 years) taking away the power & water on our last night and morning; owners brought over water and a light in the middle of the storms fury though. We left early in the morning before the gen set was set up. All good though.

Internet and phone reception non existent as the snug is in a valley.
The snug was situated on a reasonably busy road so we got lots of traffic noise in early morning
