Bien mais bruyant

L'emplacement, le personnel très accueillant, le petit-déjeuner était super. À 5 minutes de la plage.

Le bruit ! Il n'y a pas d'insonorisation dans les chambres. Il serait bien de préciser qu'il y a une crèche dans l'hôtel avec un jardin d'enfant. Vous êtes réveillé dès 7h du matin....

Wonderful Guest House in a lovely area near the beach

The place was generally very nice and relaxed, with comfortable rooms, a nice spacious terrace and a lovely communal garden with a pool. It's in a very nice quiet part of Carcavelos, just around the corner from the train station, beach, shopping mall, and plenty of restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and have everything you could need. Sara the receptionist was wonderful and so helpful when we checked in, and was always there to answer any of our questions. A lovely place to stay, great value for money, and I will stay there again for sure!

Great place

Just around 8 min walk to the beach, 3 min to supermarket and many restaurants. Very clean apartment, friendly staff, solid breakfast.

Sun loungers at the pool and on the terrace a bit uncomfortable, didn't find andy cushions.

Perfect

Awesome staff, clean and comfortable rooms, basically we wouldn't have changed anything. Me and my girlfriend had a great time and we will be coming again. :)

The garden with turtles and birds and pool. You are supporting a good cause.

The staff is sometimes a bit unfriendly and confused. The Kindergarden downstairs is a little bit loud during the week.

Overall it's a nice place to stay.

Breakfast was cold and warm, including egg, butter, honey, jam, fruit, tee, coffee, juice, cake, ... and is served around 08:00 Room was cleaned every day (without us asking them). One small towel in the bathroom, though, which was used by my husband, was never touched or replaced during our stay, which was a little strange. There was a mini fridge in the room (it was a little noisy though). There was no shampoo in the shower when we arrived which they filled up when we asked them. The train station is less than 10 minutes away, and if there's no strike (there was a nationwide train strike during our stay in Lisbon), they come every 20 minutes, I think, and it takes about 25 minutes to get to Cais do Sodré train station. The staff is nice and welcoming, especially, Sara (?) who helped me understand an announcement in Portuguese issued by the Comboios de Portugal (CP) about a rail strike. There are Riviera shopping center and many restaurants and locals around.

Room and bathroom facilities were clean but they need to be renovated, generally. (There were rust spots on the shower bar.) My husband though the liquid soap in the bathroom was kind of diluted.

Really nice place to stay in carcavelos

It was really easy to check in late at night without a 24/7 frontdesk, we went directly to our room to sleep, breakfast was really good and complete. Starts 8am. Service was friendly and warm. We only stayed a night but it fulfilled all our needs

I must admit I was a bit worried it would be noisy at night. There is a lot going on during the day. But it turned out to be great. Super quiet at night, friendly staff, about 10 mins to beach and a little shopping centre near by. Room was clean and comfortable.

Pool Staff - I cannot commend the staff enough. The nicest people I have met, so helpful and welcoming.

Our room was dated. Others were modern. Bathroom was quite tight. Beds weren't comfortable

Nice!

Good location, close to Carcavelos beach! A Pigo doce supermarket very close, you can buy food and the hotel provides a microwave oven to cook.

There is no elevator. If you have big luggages, it would be a little bit hard to take to your rooms.

We liked everything except wi fi connection.

Wi fi was bad, you couldn't open many pages, download pictures and most important you couldn't finish anything related to work.

Perfect stay!

Everything was amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and very clean. 10 minute walk to the train station and the beach as well. The garden was so lovely, and we loved the swimming pool too. They were fully booked but it wasn't crowded at all. Breakfast was really diverse and tasty as well. We had an amazing time staying here!

Nice stay 30 minutes from Lisboa

Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice pool. Short walk from the beach. Very close to well equiped supermarket. Free parking. Simple but good breakfast with real coffee ;) Best of all was a dining area with microwave, plates and cutlery which could be used by guests anytime. Very useful when your budget is tight and you cannot eat in restaurants every day. There is a kindergarden next door but it didn't bother guests at all. Perfect location to visit Lisboa, Sintra and Copa da Roca.

We had a family room for 5 people and it had only very small window with no terrase access. I believe other rooms were more pleasant. But we knew what we booked so no problem. Sometimes during breakfast even at the beginning there weren't many products to choose. Sometimes staff added things just when we were finishing as if they were afraid we would eat too much ;) There was a problem with wi-fi but they finally managed to fix it.

The location is perfect, close to the train station, beach, restaurants and supermarket. The property itself is very cosy and clean. Amazing nature and garden! The staff is super friendly! Highly recommended.

Amazing short stay! Rooms and breakfast as expected.

Breakfast although not many options but it hits all the essentials such that we have more room to enjoy Portuguese delicacies throughout the day. The room was as expected and very clean. Communication through WhatsApp was super convenient with the self check in feature making our lives easier.

Wished the heater was working and could help with recommendations of what to do in the area. Could provide toothbrush and toothpaste as well.
