Freshwater is a high quality, modern apartment with sylish furnishings. You can take in the sensational city views from the open-plan kitchen and living area and even watch the flames going off at night along Southbank Promenade.
All that Melbourne city has to offer is just a short walk away. This apartment is most comfortable for 4, however, can accommodate 6 people with the use of the sofa-bed as well. The apartment was furnished with high quality furnishings, mattresses, linen etc.
This Luxury Apartment is ideal for a holiday or extended weekend getaway, and would suit a family, a corporate stay or a small group wishing to share the cost and be in an ideal location.
LOCATION AND FEATURES:
Freshwater Place Apartments are located right on the Yarra River in Southbank and are close to everything in the city centre. The Victorian Art Centre, Federation Square, CBD shopping, Crown Casino, Exhibition Buildings, Convention Centre, Melbourne Aquarium, DFO outlet, Flinders Street Station and more are just a few minutes walk away.
At the base of the building you have a retail shopping area with the convenience of a supermarket, pharmacy, ATM's and food outlets.
The apartment features:
- Intercom security
- Fully equipped open-plan kitchen and living area with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city and Yarra River. Coffee and tea provided.
- 2 bedrooms, one large with queen-sized bed and a small internal room with low-line bunks suitable for adults or children.
- Comfortable King Furniture modular sofa that can also sleep two if needed as two single beds or can be made up as a Queen bed also.
- Ducted heating/cooling in all rooms.
- Portacot, highchair, toybox, books.
- One bathroom with shower. Please note there are no hand-rails installed in the shower or bedroom areas.
- Laundry facilities - washing machine, dryer, iron.
- One undercover on-site car park available if required for $15 per day (complimentary for stays over 7 nights).
- TV/DVD, Foxtel, Ipod docking station.
- All linen and towels. Hairdryer supplied.
ACCOMMODATION RATES:
Weekdays - 2 night minimum where a gap is available.
Weekends - 4 night minimum or we may take a 2 night booking during the week of the booking or to fill a gap
Mon - Thurs - $280 per night, Fri/Sat - $295 per night
7+ nights - $265 per night
Weekly rate - $1,855
Monthly rate - $210 per night
Extra adults over 4 guests incur a $25 per night fee (this applies to 17yrs and over)
Affordable on-site parking ($15 per day) and complimentary wifi is available.

This property is exactly as advertised - high floor with a nice panoramic view. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished, the kitchen is well enough equipped, clean, easy access to Southbank cafes and restaurants and very peaceful. Shower had lots of hot water. Definitely 5 stars.

Excellent provision of amenities including condiments crockery glassware and cutlery. Cleaning products and towels etc. also present . Some confusion at orientation re car park but promptly enough addressed. Unfortunately although advertised as 2 bedroom really only one bedroom with another windowless room and bunk beds, suitable for small children. Bed in main bedroom needs some attention very soft and sagging in the middle, and only double which was not adequate for us.
Oven did not work but was no great inconvenience.
Overall though location excellent and host very personable and helpful.

I like the pre-check in information smooth check-in process. The room has everything you need. There are convenient store and supermarkets nearby. Check out is easy. All in all, we are very happy with the quality and service, makes our trip pleasant and memorable.

We had a great stay at the freshwater condo. We were in town for the Australian Open and the location was super convenient to walk in along the Yarra each day. There was more than enough room for the two of us, and kitchen was great for coffees and simple meals.

This apartment was a wonderful base for our recent family holiday. The location was so convenient, and allowed us to soak up the amazing vibe of Melbourne. The apartment was beautiful and had everything to make us feel very comfortable and welcome. Thoughtful touches such as condiments in the pantry, toys for young children, chocolates on arrival were lovely. There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children to relax comfortably. The views over Melbourne were always of interest regardless of the time of the day or night. We will return!

As a family of 4 with two young adult children, it is so nice to have a home to come back to at the end of a day of sightseeing! This centrally-located apartment is close to everything! Formula 1 fan? Albert Park is mere minutes’ scooter ride. Gardeners will love the Royal Botanic Gardens, a pleasant 15-minute walk away.. Whatever your activities include, you will enjoy getting away from it all and watching the city from a high floor. All the comforts of home are at your disposal!

We had such a great time in Melbourne, mostly due to the location of this apartment. So close to everything! We spent a lot of the time we were 'home' gazing out the windows at the amazing views. Most necessary items were available in the apartment. It would have been good to have parking included.

Loved everything about this apartment! The location, the view, the fit out, the furnishings - everything was spot on! It had everything we could have wanted and more. Really cannot fault it. Some of the touches that really made it outstanding were the unexpected (but much appreciated) chocolates, milk, tea and coffee supplies, bread, butter, spreads, and fruit that were waiting for us. There are plenty of shops and restaurants just at the base of the building, but having those refreshments there already meant we could enjoy a treat while we unpacked and took in the gorgeous view before heading out.
Great communication from the lovely host Julie throughout the entire process from booking to check out made the whole experience stress free too.

We had a fabulous stay in Julie’s 2bed apartment in Freshwater Place. The view from the apartment was stunning, the apartment itself was very well located, it was modern, clean and very comfortable. It was well equiped for all our needs. Highly recommend and definitely plan to stay again!

Great locality, Park and Walk Everywhere
We enjoyed our stay on level 32 Freshwater Place, with amazing views. Lounge, Main Bedroom and Bathroom are spacious. Kitchen has everything you need including some pantry staples. Second Bedroom is tiny living, but quite cosy. Parking is on the 8th floor!! which was OK, because we just walked everywhere. Julie was helpful throughout. Thankyou for a great stay.

Our experience was fantastic. Highly recommend the apartment. Unfortunately the pool, spa, steam room were closed to guests even though open to renters and owners. It would of been nice if we had of been informed prior to booking

It feels a little awkward waiting outside the building to be met and let in but we didn’t have to wait long and the apartment is in a fantastic location with great amenities if you feel like having a home day. Very nice and clean. Thank you for having us and will definitely stay again
