Easy to get there. Bus stop directly outside. Very professional and friendly staff. Nothing was too much bother and everyone did their utmost to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible 👌😁
I have ms and the disabled lift was out of order, so I had a little difficulty with the outside steps and indoor stairs and the disabled lift was broken.

Welcoming, friendly, efficient staff. Well located. Clean. Bar and dining area with ambience and good cuisine.
Bedroom unfortunately had no windows, and the only ventilation in the shower room was a noisy ventilator/extraction fan.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and the room was comfortable and clean.
We arrived after a 6 hour journey from Scrabster, with only 15 minutes to spare before our dinner reservation at 7pm, to find no space in the car park, due to several badly parked cars, so had to park outside a marked bay and move the car later (once the crowds thinned out when the football match was over).

The restaurant and food was excellent some of the best food I have had in a long time it was the best part of the stay along with seating outside with a great bar with TV sports and a great atmosphere well done Angels Hotel
Now the worst part the room I was give room 7 no windows box room with a very small roof light no bigger than a postage stamp with a blackout blind across it.
I have never stayed in a room like this in all my travelling for work across the country it was clean and had everything you need but was strange without windows.
The other thing I was uneasy with is that there was only one escape route down a small set of stairs in the event of a fire and with a room with no windows made me feel uneasy.
I booked for two nights and only stayed for one I booked a different hotel for the second night.
Such a shame as the other parts of the hotel especially the restaurant was spectacular.

the staff were lovely and efficient. had an evening meal in the bar which was good and good value for money. the bed was comfortable
This was a last minute booking, we did not realise that the hotel also seemed to be a nightclub, so a lot of noise (music and door banging) went on until very late. our room overlooked a flat roof with various vents, extractor fans protruding, the noise from these went on most of the night. the room was very small with a very uneven floor, smallest sink I have every seen, so although clean and comfy bed, it was an uncomfortable place to be. the carpets on the narrow stair to the room could do with a good clean. This was disappointing for what we paid for our one night stay. could not recommend to anyone else

Room very small

beautiful building lovely and clean
shower cubicle small if your a larger person but apart from that everything was great

The food both at dinner and lunch was amazing. One of the best salmon dishes I've had. Likewise, the pancakes for breakfast were perfect. The staff were all incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The free wi-fi was pretty fast, good enough to do some work.
A desk in the room would have been a nice addition to make working a little easier.

The location was great - we wanted to be near the train station
It was sooo noisy. There was a live singer in the bar playing on Sunday night, and it was if she was in our room! Then between 12-1 other guests cane to their room - talking and opening and closing doors.
3.0
Clean convenient
room too small - like sleeping in a bay window - bathroom tiny - food in restaurant questionable- overpriced

very friendly staff, rooms recently refurbished and very clean
no issues, can imagine on a Friday or Saturday night it could be noisey but we stayed on a Thursday and it was very peaceful

The Beds and the room, bar, restaurant and the overall hotel was excellent. The first hotel to actually put in 3 towel for 3 guests in all my years of travel. And the same with the cups for tea/coffee......three of them. Beds were so comfy and the room was just perfect. The ironing board and iron was a welcome addition to the room. The food in the restaurant was top notch and the staff were very professional and friendly too. Car parking is excellent and overall the 2 nights stay was fantastic. Will definitely be back next year as we have/visit friends in Uddingston. 10/10
The shower and sink were a bit small in room number 3 but that is just a space issue and nothing that could be done there I guess but removing the soap dispensers from where they are located above the sink would help when shaving and cleaning your teeth as a practical issue. The only other thing was that the water was not overly warm in the taps and shower which could do with looking at for the future. That said the rest of the room was just perfect. 9/10

The location was brilliant - only 10 mins from Uddingston Hockey Club where a tournament I was attending was played. Across the road and down a bit (5 mins walk) is a train station - two stops to Glasgow Central and this was £4.30 return so great for getting into the main part of the City.
Only a handful of rooms in the hotel and they look brand new - the bed, bathroom especially the shower were excellent.
Ate one night in the restaurant because was generally out and about a lot and the food was similarly great. I had beef 3 ways and clearly the cooking is of a high standard. The bar and restaurant are busy so you get a sense this is a popular location.
With the windows open you can hear the people who have come out onto the terrace, doesn't bother me as I slept soundly, might trouble someone else.

Location and atmosphere in the hotel lounge
Small shower and even tiny sink in a room mennt for 3 adults not much room very tight.

A few minutes walk from the train station
Triple room above the bar/outdoor area - a little noisy between 11pm-midnight. Recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Brilliant staff...so helpful. Central location for my particular need. Nothing was ever a problem for anyone.
I cannot dislike anything there. It would have been nice if there was a lift.
3.5
Comfortable room and I had a good restful sleep. location good for Glasgow area.
Very crowed restaurant so I eat at another restaurant nearby or I would have had a very long wait. NO breakfast in the morning which was not made clear when booked.
