A perfect relaxing stay in the middle of a stunning city.

The building is beautiful, with spacious and comfy rooms. The indoor swimming pool is lovely, and there are nice lounge areas too. The staff were really helpful with booking trains and showing us around the beautiful city and fort - thankyou especially to Meru for being such a help!

The perfect place from which to explore Jaisalmer

This hotel was by far the highlight of our holiday in Jaisalmer. The members of staff were helpful and understanding to our needs regarding restaurant recommendations and directions to the top tourist areas to visit and how to get there. The room that we had stayed in was clean and well-kept at all times. We would come back to the hotel in my future endeavors to Jaisalmer as it made my one-day holiday with my partner extra special. I would highly recommend it and in my humble opinion, I would give it 10/10.

Clam, Peaceful and Tranquil Environment

Friendly Staff, good guestroom, clean & unique. " Have a good stay in the hotel as the staff service is attentive and responsive." The room cleanliness is worth mentioning. Comfortable bed with two choice of pillow and memory foam. The Fort view is breathtaking early.

Gem In The Golden City!

Lal Garh Palace provided us with an unforgettable two-night stay. On the day we checked in, the owner upgraded us to a room with a view of the fort. He helped us plan our Jaisalmer tour and schedule, as well as book cabs for desert safaris. He is a true gentleman. The hotel and restaurant staffs were extremely helpful, friendly, and cooperative. I've never encountered such generous folks in my life. I would recommend, everyone to stay here and enjoy the wonderful meals and breathtaking views. It will make your vacation, more relaxing & calm. Also, it's a "go to place" for people who enjoy swimming.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like! The stay was 11/10.

A wonderful place to stay in this beautiful town. Great staff, location and facilities.

Beautiful and spacey rooms. Plenty of free bottled water and the swimming pool was great, although a tad cool to begin with. Wonderful staff.

Everything was very good, especially the service and the restaurant.

Amazing stay below the fort

Amazing location with incredible fort view from the terrace. The staff is very nice and available, the rooms were big and very clean. The food was really good and many specialities from Jaisalmer can be ordered. Very recommended.

Definitely recommend

Really nice place to stay, with beautiful ornate stone carvings in the rooms. Staff were super friendly and helpful, they let us in when our train arrived late, helped with bags etc constantly and even let us keep our bags and use a room for a couple of hours after we had checked out. Great customer service and a good location to stay in Jaisalmer at a good price.

Well-situated accommodation for access to the fort and old city

Our room was huge and had a nice, sunny window seat and the fort could be viewed from the room. The bathroom was also very big and had two sinks (not two toilets as mentioned on the booking.com info). It was in easy walking distance of the old city. Laundry cost 30 INR per item, regardless of size, and was returned the same day. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Although the room had a view of the fort, the window was in dire need of cleaning on the outside. The room would have been a peaceful haven but for the incessant barking of dogs during the night.

Ottima struttura

Camera e bagno spaziosissimi e pulitissimi. Staff attento alle esigenze del cliente, all’arrivo sapendo che saremmo partiti tardi con il treno ci hanno subito proposto il deposito bagagli e l’uso di una camera per fare la doccia prima di partire. Ha una piscina ma l’acqua non è riscaldata e quindi in gennaio non è stata utilizzabile per noi. Buono il ristorante sia per pranzo, cena e colazione con prezzi in linea. Buona la posizione con vista sul forte.

Come detto anche a loro il bagno, che ha delle finestrelle aperte per la ventilazione, in gennaio è freddo ma loro pensano soprattutto agli altri 10 mesi caldi/caldissimi. Una stufetta sarebbe stata gradita ma siamo sopravvissuti 😂

Bon emplacement mais entretien à revoir

L emplacement est plutôt bien. La chambre est bien avec l alcôve avec vue sur le Fort. Restaurant de bonne qualité

La propreté de la chambre et de la salle d eau est à revoir !!!! L hôtel manque hélas d entretien. Aucune insonorisation : on entend même éternuer à côté

Hotel y restaurante recomendable si pasas por Jaisalmer

Hotel con buena ubicación. Las habitaciones están bien, limpias, baño amplio. El wifi funciona bien. El restaurante muy recomendado, comida muy rica y bien de precio.

Tuvimos problemas con el agua caliente, salía poca y duraba poco, es algo que tienen que cambiar.

Great room & view

The view and dinner. The bedroom was beautiful.

The TV sound too lound at 10/11pm, from the terrace. And we can hear when someone move a chair. Maybe the staff more smiling ☺️.

Genial y hospitalario

La limpieza y amplitud de las instalaciones. El personal fue muy hospitalario y prepararon todo según nuestro gusto y preferencias. Padam, el jefe del hotel estuvo pendiente de nosotros en todo momento. Además, nos organizaron un safari y excursión al desierto super bien organizada y en una ruta nada masificada: éramos los únicos en la ruta.

Tamanho do quarto. Era espaçoso. Eles me deram um upgrade no quarto. O gerente do hotel deu todas as informações necessárias para visitar os locais turísticos. Todos os funcionários são muito atenciosos e simpáticos. O hotel é muito limpo e tem uma cobertura onde você pode relaxar e apreciar a vista. O restaurante na cobertura é incrível e com um bom preço. O hotel providenciou um táxi para me pegar na estação. Parabéns para toda a equipe.

Tout sauf un Fort et un Palace , ne vous laissez pas tromper par les photos

La vue sur le fort. Grande chambre. Roof top L’accueil sympathique, mise à disposition d’une chambre pour un départ tardif …

Les sacs en plastique sur les cadres photo ! La propreté laisse à désirer . Safari, dans le désert, prestation très très insuffisante par rapport au prix !

Room is too big and cleans also the view of Fort is so awesome from room and Rooftop. All the staff members are so kind and always welcoming you with smile, Owner of hotel is also humble and give personal number for any kind of help. This is the best hotel in Jaisalmer. When you are planning to travel to Jaisalmer only book Lal Garh Palace and leave all the other activity on them. They provide you desert safari and Border tour packages at cheap price.

Hotel Lal Garh

The Lal Garh Hotel offers great views of the fort with good facilities in a convenient location. On top of this the staff went out of their way to make our stay a very enjoyable one. The swimming pool was open and provided a welcome oasis in the heat of the day. The WiFi worked well across the premises. The food in the restaurant was good and the rooftop was one of the best places to eat in Jaisalmer. We went on a desert safari - facilitated by the hotel. It was excellent. The team, led by Padam and Papu, was knowledgeable and accommodating. It was magical. The hotel made the whole experience frictionless - a late check out enabled a 1500 departure, and we were allowed early access to our room the day after. Special mentions: the early morning transfer to the train station; and getting a pay per view subscription so I could watch the cricket. Really very good.

It was a pity that the tandoor was not working on the restaurant

Super hotel met geweldig personeel

Het is een prachtig hotel met super vriendelijke mensen. Het binnen zwembad was ook top! VVVWe konden na onze woestijn Safari nog gratis gebruik maken van een kamer om om te kleden en zelf nog even een plons in het zwembad te doen. Ik raad het zeer zeker aan om hier te boeken. 🐪♥️ Ps. Vanaf het dak heb je een top zonsondergang

Jaisalmer in struttura storica.

Posizione centrale, staff disponibile e gentile, stanza molto accogliente, grande, con bellissima vista. Acqua sempre disponibile gratuitamente. Bagno ampio e funzionale.

Purtroppo da una grata del bagno, che non era possibile chiudere, entravano piume di piccione e polvere di guano col vento della sera. Abbiamo ridotto, per motivi personali, indipendenti dall'hotel, il nostro soggiorno di una notte, chiedendo in anticipo e ottenendo il benestare della struttura. Purtroppo la cosa ha indispettito alcuni del personale e soprattutto il direttore... Poco professionali da questo punto di vista. Un peccato.

Exceptional place to feel the divinity of golden city.

All the amenities provided were good, the location is near the city and fort, this place has a different vibe and feels refreshed. The property was extremely safe and clean, the atmosphere was serene and home like, we were comfortable as we are at home, the cleanliness was striking, beautifully maintained swimming pool, peaceful place too, if you are looking for a peaceful and spiritual environment, Lal Garh is the best place.

Excellent Property and outstanding staff. We were truly impressed by staff's courtesy and willingness to help, it was not limited to any isolated person but across the board in all areas. They made us feel very welcome and part of the family. Will love to stay on Lal Garh again?

A true gem! right in the middle of it all!!

This is undoubtedly one of the best hotel in Jaisalmer under budget category.! The overall ambience and hotel décor is great! Room were very neat and clean each and every facilities were there all we needed! Any time when we ask for anything were provided within minutes!

Very beautiful hotel & nice camel trip with Santos and Kem

This hotel is a gem - looks beautiful inside out. The facilities are great...there's even a swimming pool area which looks amazing too, there's also rooftop restaurant with a view of the fort. The rooms are super comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff is very helpful, and they helped me organize a last-minute desert trip as well! Traveling as a solo female I was a bit worried about going into the desert alone, without other tourists, but my guides Santos and Kem were super sweet and reassuring so I honestly felt safe and protected at all times.

This is a general feedback to India probably - but I often felt that when I had to ask for help, although hotel staff would be really nice and provide solutions...this would often come at a financial disadvantage to me, which is a local policy I guess. But somehow I thought that the hotel would be a bit of a different environment, so all in all it just felt like you can really never lower your guard in India, not even at hotels. Just be mindful of that.
