Beautiful hotel in the town centre with parking, breakfast was the best we had on our trip, coffee was fantastic, lovely views from our room
No lift, something to consider if you can't walk up stairs

We only stayed 1 night, the food in the restaurant is good, but not mind-blowing - but still the best option when in St Blasien. Beds were comfortable, check in and check out uncomplicated.
I did not like having to ask for hot beverages when else wise there is a breakfast buffet - given that probably quite a lot of hikers pass by this hotel too, it would be nicer to just be able to refill a thermos or even for guests, just having a range of teas to choose and help themselves from would be more convenient.
Due to the weather, our hiking boots were a bit wet as well and upon arrival no shop was open to buy a newspaper. When asking the staff whether they had ANY old newspapers, this was negated which I found a bit strange.

Great staff. Great location. Great price.

The room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was good with more than enough choices for everyone.
Parking wasn’t very clear so look it up before you get there. Breakfast was good but started a little late for our liking (8am) when traveling through an earlier option would be preferred.

wonderful old converted abbey in
quaint village. very friendly helpful
staff. good Italian food
we were expecting it to have the
swimming pool shown in the photos
on the listing. not the fault of the hotel
but disappointing after a long day’s drive!

Simple rooms but then you got everything you need and you are right at the cathedral and can explore the town and the surrounding Black Forest area. Hotel has a nice restaurant but for breakfast I would recommend one of the local bakeries or small original restaurants such as Rosalie which is just next door.
4.5
Breakfast was basic, but good. Everything we wanted was there and the hours to come and eat were nice. The staff at this hotel is one of the best thing it has going for it. Really very nice and helpful.

Basic but good room. Near beautiful Kloster dome.
