I come only for the pools, previously also for the extra good food, now not the case.

Meals are far from what used to be extra quality. More and more cheaper and yesterday pieces are served (two days old croissants, old and not usable honey pie pieces, and cakes are cross, even not well baked ones were served. No more nuts, only pumpkin and sunflower seeds are served for breakfast.

Old (croassants) or bad prepeared food or cheap stuff (bad quolity honey and jams). Very solty pieces of chicken put in vegetables named arabian or so meal. Generally cheap chicken parts put together in rolat, or fish not well cleaned with bones to chock from! Never in years they served expencive meat.

A great place

A great, clean and nice hotel! Really clean! The breakfast was amazing, the dinner as well. The pool is good, but due to the fact that they let external people it was overcrowded, so would not go again over the weekend. I d definitely go back with my kids

Good idea, horrible execution

We stayed in one of the priciest rooms. During our stay the stink in the room was horrible. There were some event on the second day, because of this event the restaurant was closed and the organisation of the dinner was a joke.

Nice place

The menu of the restaurant was perfect and really delicious. Location was great.

Miscommunication between waitress for the appointed table for our big family - 5 people for the entire stay. The hot tubs floor was chipped. In the adult pool there were children playing ball and the lifeguard didn't notice them, even though it is forbidden. In general the hotel needs refreshing and replacing the mattresses.

Healing water, ok food, top notch SPA staff, bad pool conditions, underwhelming hospitality service.

We've been coming to the hotel as a family for a while now (about once or twice a year for years) - the water is really the main reason, as our grandma relies on its healing powers after her burn accident. So we're always really appreciative of the SPA center and how they treat and assist her. As 4 other women, we also take advantage of the various procedures in the SPA and the water, of course. The Staff in the SPA and particularly their new rehabilitator Nadelina (<3) are top notch and we only have the highest praise for all of them.

Some rooms are pretty crammed and with little living space - it's ok for a weekend, but being there for a full week (for the water to actually have any effect) could be a bit too much. Even though i know they have wonderful bigger rooms and even apartments (which we really wanted, unfortunately, that could not be arranged). The SPA is quite diverse, though, for a 5-star hotel the conditions of the pools and hot pools are absolutely inexcusable - in the hot pool half of the tiles are missing or chipped, so you basically stand or sit in pieces of tiles and cement, while the big pool inside also looks and feels unkept in terms of tiling. My biggest concern however was that after sleeping in one of the rooms we booked, one of us kept waking up with more and more bites all over the body every day (looked like clusters of flea bites or those of bed bugs). When we reported this, our concerns were dismissed, though i should say, they switched the room for us immediately (for which we were grateful). BUT Not only was any compensation not offered to us, but my comment about how it would be appropriate in this situation, was ignored. I think that for a 5-star hotel which Strimon Garden claims to be, it is a logical response to compensate a guest, who is spending thousands of BGN for their stay, in some way or form for the fact that they left the hotel covered in itchy bites. Things like this remind me of how behind the Bulgarian hospitality industry is, unfortunately.

Food, pools, furniture in the bar, very nice receptionist and cleaning lady, good quoluty toaletries

noice due to late evening cleaning of pools, continous noice of the central heating in the room, that sounds like river streaming, dayly repairing of parking back side, ready to be replaced matrace, very limited parking space, too dark room, with dark walls and extremely low light
