Nothing was good
Hotel rents rooms to homeless people and they are up all night smoking drugs in fire escapes so with windows open in summer you cannot sleep for all the noise. When i asked them to go to their rooms so i could sleep i was told to F-off and mind my own f-ing business as they live there. Staff intercepted when i complained and a massive argument started. I was then scared to leave my windows open as they all returned after midnight to make more noise. this went on all night

No a/c. Double bed too small. Hotels that don’t offer king size beds are antiquated and need updating

Room was comfortable. Modern.
Staff were a bit unfriendly. Room looked unfinished and sparse
3.5
Clean room, major facilities good, lacked details - no coat hooks, no cupboards, no chairs, no table, no toilet roll holder, no bedside table or shelf.

Not a lot. The place was clean to be fair.
Upon arrival, the bar area had black bags and a stack of logs. Some of the clientele had obviously over indulged. Check in was met with an immediate, "How are you paying?". To be honest, the atmosphere wasn't good. We didn't drink in the bar and left as soon as we could in the morning, there was no coffee machine working anyway, and I think you had to sign the TV remote in / out at reception, certainly couldn't find it. Rooms are tiny too, the very small double bed was pushed up against the wall.

Good value for money.
The noisy public in the bar area.

Room was basic and clean. Bathroom facilities were good with efficient shower.
Very loud and noisy reception area as was part of hotel bar. Setting this a little apart from this area would give guests a little more privacy when checking in. Bath mat for shower would be a welcome addition.

One member of staff was very pleasant.
We had no hot water in either room.
The car park had no lighting. Reception was at a bar where anyone could hear a customer's details and room number. The bar had a crowd of men in it who would have made ne feel extremely uncomfortable if I was alone. Not a nice place to have to walk through to get to the rooms and certainly not suitable for children. I was too nervous to stay in a room on the ground floor because it was too close to the bar so I ended up bunking in with the others on my group in one of their rooms.
3.5
Good hotel for contractors to stay at , clean and tidy , sky sports on downstairs in a good basic bar area
food at night was very limted locally had to drive to get anything or go to the local vege takeaway across road ( not for everyone that )
