Excellent stay in Budapest

The location was superior, and the staff was excellent. It was wonderful to be able to use the kitchen facilities. The room was very clean and the elevator was pretty fast.

There is something to be said about creaky metal framed beds. It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it was slightly noisy as other people have said.

Netter Aufenthalt in geräumigem Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Die Lage ist gut, Innenstadt. Mehrere Restaurants unmittelbar in der Nähe. Großes geräumiges Zimmer. Etwas altmodisch aber ansprechend und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Rezeptionist war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Mit dem Taxi am nächsten Morgen, kam vor der Öffnungszeit des Hotels hat es gut geklappt. Danke, nochmals,

Spacieux, propre et très bien situé dans un hôtel au style typique ! Je recommande ! Le personnel de l’accueil était par

Grandes superficies pour une chambre d’hôtel, nous avions plus l’impression d’avoir un T2 dans la ville et l’espace rendait l’hôtel très agréable. L’hôtel est très propre et le personnel accueillant !

La salle de bain est rigolote mais un petit coup de frais ne ferait pas de mal mais cela reste un détail car en réalité elle était tout à fait convenable et conforme aux attentes.

Posizione centrale vicino alla metro, Personale cordiale e disponibile camera grande e condizionata. Ottimo quartiere. Vicino a ristoranti e locali, vicinissimo al mercato storico di Budapest e al fiume Danubio.

Letto un po' rumoroso, colazione non eccellente ma buona, pulizia quotidiana camera giornaliera su richiesta.

Nice place in the center

We needed a place to stay for one night with our toddler. The room was decent size. The crib was ready, waiting for us. The staff is great. Breakfast also. We were lucky with the parking on the street - found one spot right in front of the hotel. Good value for money.

A pleasant stay in the center of Budapest

Great location. The room and the bathroom were spacious and the staff very helpful. I was allowed to store my luggage in a locker before I checked in and after I checked out. That was very convenient.

The breakfast was basic. The cleanliness can be improved.

Beklediğimiz gibiydi konumu çok iyiydi. Havaalanından otobüse bindiğinizde İlk duraga çok yakindi. Toplu taşıma araçlarını ve taksi durağına Çok yakındi. Oda Çok geniş ve temizdi gayet memnun kaldık. Çalışanlar çok yardımseverdi. her sorumuza yanıt verdiler. Herşey için teşekkür ederiz

駅からのアクセスがよく、スーパーが近くにある。オンラインチェックインができるので手続きがシンプル。スタッフが親切。建物がレトロで可愛く、湯沸かしポットがあるなど設備もよい。

Struttura consigliata per ubicazione e gentilezza dello staff

Struttura molto vicina alla via principale, al Ponte della Libertà e al mercato coperto. Il personale si è dimostrato sempre molto attento e disponibile. Unica pecca, ma in qualche modo trascurabile, materasso e cuscini troppo morbidi.

Otel çalışanları güler yüzlü ve yardımsever olduğu için kendimizi çok rahat hissettik.

Kahvaltı lezzetli ve güzeldi. Otelin konumu çok iyi. Yürüyerek veya toplu taşıma ile merkezi yerlere kolayca ulaşılabiliyordu.

Kalvin House is very central, close to the main attractions of Budapest and the rooms are spacious. There are public parking spaces next to the hotel and one can park there.

The furniture in the rooms is generally old and of poor quality. The breakfast lacked variety, there were only two options, Hungarian or a vegetarian breakfast.

Loved my stay, would stay again.

I stayed in the top bedroom and it was a great space. Lots of room, very clean and tidy. They even left some sweets on the table. The breakfast was included in my room and it was great. Good selection and when the eggs ran out, I simply asked and then got some ready straight away.

I had read the water pressure wasn’t very good but I think it was fine (I didn’t wash my hair in it though)

Cerca al bus al aeropuerto pero demasiado caro

Me gustó que esta cerca de la parada del bus al aeropuerto. Tienen un desayuno que te dicen que no tienen pero si tienen y está bien. Tiene huevos, fruta, cafe. Lo bàsico pero bien. Hay que pedirlo desde la reserva. Es un hostal familiar y no sé si esto era la intención.

La verdad es que el personal se siente cansado y esto puede ser la impresión de fastidio que irradian. Me dio mucha empatía pero el trato del personal es lo justo y eso les cuesta. En mi habitación la refri estaba con comida guardada pero no era grave. Alado del hotel hay una discoteca, tienen doble ventana pero aún así, puede ser un reto para oídos sensibles. No cuentan con recepcion 24h lo que para gente adulta mayor puede ser dificil en especial porque hay que manejar unas claves.

للأسف كان هذا الأنطباع الأول لبودابست!

للأسف تعامل موظف الإستقبال سيئ ولا يليق بموظف استقبال ! تحدثت معه بخصوص الغرفة رقم 401 المخصصة لي من قبل الفندق وأنها تختلف عن الغرفة التي حجزت لي عن طريق بوكنك والتي وضح تفاصيلها الايميل المرسل لي لتأكيد الحجز(حيث ان حجزي يتضمن ترقية للغرفة ) وقد كان رده ان هذة الغرفة غير متوفرة في يوم وصولي لذلك خصصنا لك الغرفة المتوفرة ،اي انه اعطاني الغرفة المتوفرة ولم يخصص لي الغرفة المحجوزة عن طريق بوكنق ، وقال لي حرفيا انه غير ملزم بما يعطيك بوكنق انا اعطيك ما يتوفر عندي !!!!! مع العلم ان حجزي عملته يوم 4 سبتمبر ويوم الوصول 13 سبتمبر....!!! وليس ذلك فقط بل كان يتكلم بعصبية وصوت مرتفع وكأني لست بضيف بالفندق !!!

Prima hotel/hostel dat ruimschoots voldeed aan mijn verwachtingen.

Locatie kan bijna niet beter. Vlakbij de Donau, diverse horeca, supermarkt, metro en halte van de bus van/naar het vliegveld.

De receptie is bemand van 08.00 tot 20.00 uur. Dat is vooraf bekend, maar je dient alert te blijven op het meenemen van de diverse toegangscodes. Verder dient om schoonmaak van de kamer gevraagd te worden.

Nice location, very central. Staff very welcoming. Room was large and confortable. Good value.

Reception hours are from 8 a.m to 8 a.m. Much prefer 24 hour receptions to help deal with any issues. 3 seperate entry codes to get to my room.

the location was very good and all around available.

the water was out for almost 18 hours which we could not take shower. also we expected a full kitchen, but the kitchen was joint but it was ok for us since we didn't use it much.

The room was big and beautiful. The hotel was in the center and it was reliable. It is very close to bus stops, metro and tram. It is very close to the bus stop that goes to the airport. There were lockers for my luggage. The room was very authentic.

Had a great long weekend with a friend and we really enjoyed the quiet, laidback hotel

Enjoyed the breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a very cute room under the eaves, which we loved. It’s excellent value for money and the location is excellent
