The resort is large and spacious and has secure parking which is a bonus. Rooms are comfortable and staff we met were gracious and hospitable.
Upon arrival, we learnt that the beach and the pool were not available. Sadly, no discount on the cost nor did they throw in breakfast on the house. When we did go to breakfast, EVERY garden worker was out mowing lawns and someone was pressure washing the pool. This had the effect of ruining our breakfast. We told the manager who asked them to mow the several other hectares of the garden but they returned. WiFi was intermittent and not reliable. Air con was the same. For the price we paid, and the fact they advertise themselves as 4 star, the value for money wasn't there I'm afraid.

lovely restaurant with fantastic food, brilliant breakfast with the best coffee we had in Sicily, great service so helpful and friendly, lovely pool and beautiful setting. really magical scenery, very peaceful.
no effort made to take care of the beach which is a little dirty with some rubbish. the beach service is poor for the 20 euros charge, the attendant sits on phone, no offer of water or drinks. the weed is a shame and can ruin the swimming depending on the conditions but nothing they can do about that. the beach is not that private as the hotel does not do anything to stop sellers approaching you on the beach. the sellers also sit down and use the Mulini beach themselves to sleep and make loud phone calls which is very disruptive.
They seem to classify rooms indiscriminately to charge a higher price. The rooms were lovely but there little to no difference between the deluxe double and the superior room.

very beautiful location of the hotel, large area, own beach. The staff is friendly. Restaurant pretexts delicious breakfasts and dinners, Since this is a private beach, there are few people and you can enjoy the silence
There is no place in the room where you can hang drying beach accessories. Also in the room there is no outlet for charging the phone, you need to disconnect the light bulb from the network. Beach doesn't clean up after big sea waves and the water near the shore is dirty

Great setting, tasty breakfast. Helpful staff.
Beach was a complete mess with old seaweed not cleaned up

Excellent location and amenities. Last minute reservation and could not have been more pleased with their patience with us not knowing any of the local language.
Dinner was absolutely delicious and far more than we could actually eat!

The location is very nice, right on the beach front, with nice views
When we arrived there was no one at the reception, we were walking around the hotel, trying to figure out if someone is working there. Once we could get into our room, the first thing we noticed is the clogged sink, we reported immediately, they solved a problem after a while, but no one even said sorry for the inconvenience. The bathroom was quite old and rusted, one would think we are in a 2- star hotel, not apparently 4-star resort!
The outside area is nice, however when there is no wind, it stinks on sewage - therefore the place is full of mosquitos and other bugs…
All in all, this is this place is a tourist trap, it looks beautiful on the pictures, but once you get there, the disappointment is unavoidable!

very large and perfectly clean rooms, relaxing garden and bar/restaurant, nice pool, directly on the beach, good breakfast and dinner
everything was good!

Very relaxing and friendly staff. They were very kind and honored our requesrs. The Breakfast was amazing and Fracesco was especially wonderful
There were some plumbing issues...bathroom sink leaks, toilet difficult to flush, broken valve on bathtub. However this is in light of 2 years of Covid. I am confident there issues will be corrected

The resort Mulini is very romantic place, we were happy that we stayed there. Dinners were fantastic! Just directly on the beach, the service was very friendly and the food incredibly good. Good place to visit and explore Erice.

Room was spacious and comfortable.
Not happy with the price-quality ratio for dinner.

The resort is amazing, a calm windmill space close to Trapani centre. Unfortunately the management is not at the same level of the location.
We booked a Suite for our honeymoon, that was actually very nice with private pool (to share with the adjacent Suite), but unfortunately when it rains the water goes inside the room since the entrance doors are not properly insulated. In the morning we had the water close to our bed and my husband slipped and fallen on the floor, hurting his knee. Moreover the restaurant is not great, the breakfast is average despite Trapani is full of good bakeries and they don't have many options for people with dietary requirements (although I clearly wrote mine at the moment of the booking). I'm sure this structure is nice for who books a normal room and not a suite of 200€ per night.

The location is good, close to the center of Trapani (5 minutes by car). There is a beach in front of the hotel.

Very friendly staff at breakfast and dinner; great location, very relaxing atmosphere in the garden and by the pool and windmills. Definitely recommended!
Even if the overall experience was very good, there are few things that could be improved:
1. laundry service is too expensive (if I recall well $7 for a tshirt) and there was no possibility in the room to dry clothes or even the beach towels.
2. I get that it is a private property by a public beach and there are several people trying to sneak a picture with the windmill, BUT we found annoying being stopped and being asked if you were staying with the resort (it happened a couple of times on our way to the pool), especially if you don't speak Italian. I would suggest a better way to check on your guests.

Beautiful scenery, nice reformed rooms/hotel from an old salt mill. Very accommodating staff, tremendous amount of space for few guest capacity. Private parking on site was helpful.
Breakfast building was very hot. Only thing that could have been improved.

Reception, rooms… cozy! Area around hotel is nice, view with windmill - beautiful.
Private beach is joke! It’s disgusting, really. The smell of rotting seaweed really wants to make me cry! And charge this for €20 per person? It’s not even funny… Please, take some time to travel around Trapani and you can find really beautiful beaches.
Staff at the hotel was friendly, but at the hotel restaurant? Please, wake up - is the year 2021 and if you want to have also international tourists, staff have to speak ENGLISH. Because of the staff at the restaurant during breakfest had very poor knowledge of english, there were some unpleasent situations with other guests. Also staff did not catch up with cleaning and as new guests comes to breakfest, there were still dirty and messy tables :-( And let´s be honest - restaurant was not crowded. Two waitresses should do all the work without problems, but… no. They didn’t. The 4* hotel should have higher standards.

The surroundings, the peaceful stay
We expected more of the restaurant. Our waitress Valentina was very friendly, but the building , the atmosphere inside could be better... the view is amazing
The room is nice, ( junior suite) light in the bathroom is little bit depressing.
We missed personal approach from the hotel

Beautiful building, converted old salt farm, with lots of history and character. Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. Very nice and helpful staff.Junior suites (2 nights) are very nice, spacious, with character and a nice view (worth paying the difference)
Superior rooms (stayed 2 nights) in need of renovation, especially the bathroom and plumbing. Wifi was very unstable, with many periods of the day without cover. Hotel was used for an external event on a Tue night, with loud music until 01:00 am, NOT nice at all. Understand that at Covid 19 times hotels cannot turn down events but there has to be a time limit.

Very nice location
Airco in room is loud and too strong
