Stadsbezoek in de zomer

Leuk gelegen bij de Belgische wijk, parkeerplaats, airco, bovendien zeer gezellig ingericht. Bijzonder origineel ingericht hotel. Wijkt af van de standaard hotels.

Ontbijt was aan de magere kant, kamer was een beetje gehorig

De locatie

De kamer, de hygiëne :er werd niet gepoetst tijdens verblijf! Ontbijt heel basic. Kortom een basic hotel maar niet aan een basic prijs!

Great hotel

Köln is a beautiful city , so impressed we visited during the Euros and the location is about 20 mins walk to city centre but easily accessible via the underground. Loads of nice restaurants around the hotel and would recommend to anyone , the temperature was extremely hot so coming back to a room with air con and having a fridge in the room was bliss. The bed was so comfortable and the shower had hot water at all times which some hotels fail to provide. Breakfast was fine and a very quaint setting. A great hotel enjoy. also a free safe in room which for us was essential.

Eine tolle Art mal Köln zu erobern mit Deko aus den 70er Jahren. Klasse

Wir haben uns in unsere Kindheit zurückgesetzt gefühlt und es war einfach klasse. Die zentrale Lage des Hotels war für Köln optimal. Begeistert waren wir von der Begrüßung : Kaffee und Kuchen kostenfrei.

Top Lage, aber leider nicht mehr als Durchschnitt

Die Lage war sehr gut und die meisten Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Das Frühstück war für den Preis von 12 € wirklich toll und ausreichend. Gut gelegener Parkplatz.

Am Empfang wurde ich leider von einer sehr launischen Dame begrüßt. Im Zimmer ging das Licht am Eingang nicht und auf dem Teppich einige große Flecken. Macht leider keinen guten hygienischen Eindruck.

O ar condicionado não estava funcionando. Deram café da manhã de graça pra nós, mas o café é super simples e não vale a pena. Lençol da cama super fraco.

Der Preis für dieses Hotel eindeutig zu hoch.

Vor zwei Jahren war es wunderbar auch das Frühstück. Zuerst wurde uns ein Zimmer gegeben, dass nicht geputzt und die Bettwäsche nicht überzogen war. Auch war es kein renoviertes Zimmer. Nach mehreren Versuchen konnte ich telefonisch jemanden erreichen. Wir bekamen ein renoviertes und geputztes Zimmer. Leider war das Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten und keine Auswahl. Das Gemüse wirkte alt, die Eier zu lange gekocht.

Wir würden wieder kommen.

Der Stil des Hotels ist einzigartig und zieht sich durch. Ausstattung mit Spielzimmer (inkl. Auswahl von Brettspielen), Wohnzimmer und co sowie die Sonderattraktionen wie den kostenlosen Nachmittagskaffee und das Tatort schauen tragen positiv zur Gesamterfahrung bei. Das Personal war super freundlich!

Meckern auf hohem Niveau: Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche war nicht super.

Tolle Lage, liebevolle Einrichtung aber noch Luft nach oben

Die Lage ist sehr gut, zur Strassenseite hin ist es jedoch laut, wenn man die Fenster öffnet. Das Aufenthalts- und das Frühstückzimmer sind wirklich nett und liebevoll eingerichtet, auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Außerdem sehr hundefreundlich.

Der Teppich im Haus ist echt abgeranzt und das Bad hat seine beste Zeit hinter sich. Leider ging die Heizung im Bad auch nicht und es war sehr kalt.

Ietwat verouderd hotel op een half uurtje stappen van het centrum .

De ligging was heel goed , winkels , cafés een bakker en restaurants in de buurt , een half uurtje wandelen langs een leuke straat met nog meer winkels om aan de Dom te komen .De parking aan het hotel , de vriendelijke ontvangst door de receptionist van dienst . De grootte van de kamer , het bad + douche in de badkamer .

De versleten indruk van het hotel dat dringend aan een opfrisbeurt toe is . Vuile en bevlekte vloerbekleding in de gangen en op de kamers , de hygiëne kan ook beter , schimmel op de voegen van de douche , een hoge opstap voor de douche en gevaarlijk gladde douchevloer , vuile tassen op de kamer werden niet vervangen , sommigen van het personeel waren heel onvriendelijk . Het ontbijt dat nauwelijks werd aangevuld , weinig keuze , harde broodjes en een brood dat vanbinnen nog bevroren aanvoelde . In de ontbijtruimte werden tafels te laat afgeruimd zodat je aan een tafel moest gaan zitten waar de afval van de vorige nog opstond De receptionist stond in om de tafels af te ruimen , de afwas " handmatig te doen , af en toe toch nog iets bij te vullen , een broodje af te bakken wanneer er geen brood meer was ... Toen ik bij het uitchecken vroeg of onze auto nog even op de parking mocht blijven staan werd ik er kortaf en tamelijk bruut op gewezen dat we om 11 u van de parking moesten zijn vóór de volgende gasten arriveren...wat begrijpelijk is maar ook vriendelijk kan gezegd worden .

Zentral, komfortabel und leicht skurril

Ein super Hotel: total zentral, komfortabel und mit den ganzen Antiquitäten, Ölschinken und Porzellanstatuen etc. sehr ungewöhnlich und nett. Die kritischen Anmerkungen in einigen der Bewertungen hinsichtlich Sauberkeit, Straßenlärm und Größe des Frühstücks kann ich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, ich werde garantiert wiederkommen!

Kerst in Keulen is hier top.

Het is een beleving. Wij vonden het knus en gezellig.

Aankleding Hal en receptie kan beter. Vooral de eetzaal is geweldig, dat doorvoeren naar receptie zou top zijn. De lift was rond vertrektijd steeds ingebruik door personeel waardoor er lange wachttijd was. Wel super vriendelijk personeel

Nice breakfast with super breakfast staff. Centrally located near AltStadt and Messe. Nice staff.

Air conditioning was broken, staff were unable to fix but compensated me fairly. Beds are old and uncomfortable. Maid service was inattentive and often missed basic things like soap, or tissues or coffee. Comically small shower gel. Extremely warm without airconditioning no air flow and air-conditioning unit was filthy, coated in dust. Impossible to sleep with the window open due to noise.

It is an old place but clean and comfy. Make sure you know details of your reservation because some new employees may ask you for additional payments, simply because they are new, no bad intention from them and it is then sorted out easily.

Pleasant

Staff were amazing, really loved the decorations and feel of the place.

It did not met the expectations

The location was good, good public transportation was available in the proximities, and there were restaurants and markets around. The rooms were very clean. The cutest part of the hotel is the communitarian rooms (there are at least two), so if you are planning to use the communal parts of the hotel (for staying with your family, playing some games, or reading a book/working on your own), this is very much the place. These communal spaces are so precious and very beautiful.

Honestly, when I book a hotel with an AC, I expect the AC will be available. I know, I know... germans don't like AC, especially not in Spring, but other people do. My room was very, very warm, and even though the lady in the reception was sympathizing with my struggle, when I asked again on the second day, another lady told me that the central AC was just not "turned on yet" - so, if it was not broken, but it was an issue of planning, this should be explicit online. I had two horrible nights because the room was just too hot, and sleeping with the window open was a bit too loud. Other issues: the internet was definitely not great in the room (it worked perfectly in the communal rooms, but in my sleeping room, it was not strong enough even to download a WhatsApp photo), and the shower pressure was ok-ish. Considering the price, I was expecting more, I guess...

Room cleaning didn’t come next day. There were no towels in the room, I had to go to reception to take. No information how to call reception by room phone Not a convenient concept of breakfast room, eating on coach ☹️ , and poor breakfast options

Nice place to stay in Cologne

It's a cozy hotel on one of the central streets with lots of shopping places around. It has its own nice traditional "granny" flavor, and it is very much what distinguishes its hotel from others. A very nice museum-like breakfast room, very helpful staff and a clean room with large bathroom.

Good location, but that's about it

The location of the hotel is great, just in the city centre, close to everything you need and also many good restaurants. The decor was interesting, and the bathroom seemed bigger than the actual room.

- the breakfast was very poor and not so many options to choose from. As well, when something finished it was not refilled. - we had a queen bed in the reservation, but it was actually 2 single beds glued together - the room was pretty small - the furniture was old - I had a confirmation for late check out on booking but when I went to the reception to confirm, the guy there was pretty upset for this request and had to convince him and argue with him
