We liked Olive Tree Hotel very much, we love this place.

This hotel was good, but not great. The front desk staff were nice enough, but the staff in the restaurant weren't either very helpful or polite. With breakfast being offered over a 4 hour period every time we went for breakfast we felt like we were getting in the way and were a huge inconvenience. Not a huge deal, just not the best.
3.0
Very good variety and quality of food but there were no teaspoons on the table
Need a batter light in the bathroom and the provision of a shaving point
3.5
Location is very good and not far from Old City but generally caters for large tourist groups.
The breakfast selection is exceptional and varied for all dietary requirements.
Hotel is rather old and rooms are small. They need renovation
The beds were single beds and narrow and not the normal size you would expect in a hotel.THey are OK for smaller people but most europeans (larger Americans a real squeeze) would have problems.Stayed 2 nights and then moved to another hotel

The breakfast was great.
The location - according to the website, it was near the city centre, but it was too far to walk.

Food was great abs lovely room
The double bed was two singles pushed together abs kept coming apart

The property was nice, but the rooms were a bit dated. One member of our group was upgraded to a much nicer renovated room when they complained. If they are in the process of renovating all the rooms like this then I think the future is bright for this hotel. The lobby area was comfy as well and the food was above average.
Wanted to watch a sports event with some from our group and even though no other guests were using the bar area we were not allowed to watch the game there even though we had the necessary wire to connect to the TV to display the game.

Grand ground-floor facilities and a great breakfast
It's a long story not worth retelling but we wouldn't stay here again as a family.

Wonderful Hotel
The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had a beautiful view of the olive tree all decorated. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. They all speak English and as a foreigner I was treated very politely and respectfully. For New Year's Eve in the hotel bar and restaurant, I felt very much at home and the maitre D called “Dia” made our New Year's Eve very happy and I would like to thank him for this.
The food at the Hotel is delicious with many options in the buffet. The buffet has many sections, everything is excellent and the chef is to be congratulated.
The location is very good and close to many historical and biblical sights. All of these were within walking distance.

We were able to check-in early. Buffet breakfast. Friendly staff who could speak English. Location of hotel. Good access to local and frequent bus services.
We had dinner included. But there was no display or information given about the set menu. Or no questions asked when we sat down. We received large plates of mixed cooked meat of varying cooked-length i.e. medium rare steak and well done chicken. So if it was not to your liking or too much, then it would be a waste.

The food was wonderful...just like we remembered it. There was a large variety and excellent courteous wait staff.
The beds were not comfortable. We were exhausted at end of each day because of being so busy seeing the sights. We would have appreciated a more comfortable bed. We could not dislodge the sheet to pull all the way up, it was made so tightly.

Reception were outstanding and understanding especially the females staff
What ever I didn’t like I spoke and addressed it with reception staff

Good choice on breakfast and dinner. Hotel is huge but you don't wait for elevator more then a minute from your floor and not more then a few seconds from ground floor. It was a really nice place 15-20 years ago for sure.
Wifi was good in rooms and in lobby as well.
Long waiting for check in and check out at the counter.
Really tired and rooms. Dust at the ventilation. Room cards stop working every time, have to change them twice a day.
Food and rooms definitely overpriced.
Lines for food in dining area in peak hours.
Can't recommend for long stay, but for 1-2 nights is ok.

Friendly staff, free drinking water in a corner of the bar.
The room is not big and there is not enough space to enlarge the luggage. The dinner in the hotel is expensive and not delicious.

Dinner was good and staff at the dining room very kind. Housekeeping staff were very good
The reception desk was rude and totally not helpful. In 3 daus i had to bring my access cards four times down to get it to work. And though it is the hotel's mistake the staff just shrugged it off. The toilet does not flush properly and the tub door does not work. This is room 825

The location is good and the hotel looks nice. The staff were friendly and helpful when they were around.
Water started coming in from the ceiling at around 6 am for around 15 minutes and flooded part of the room. There was no one to be found downstairs. The front desk, maintenance, and housekeeping didn't pick up. No one was operating the restaurant when we went there for dinner at 8 pm. The room was tiny, much smaller than the pictures. The beds are two single beds slid together, so they tend to slide apart. Housekeeping tends to walk in the room without knocking unless your do not disturb sign is on.
