Exceptional

Location is amazing. Historical monument with a fabulous view. Staff was very polite and help us more than we expected and the restaurant will remains as the best place to eat when we will we in that area. Than you!

Lovely place in an idyllic location

We stayed for 7 nights and so booked a superior room and it was lovely. The setting and grounds are fantastic and the building full of history. The staff couldn't do more to help you and are a great team run by a lovely manager. All took time to speak to us and make us feel at home. The breakfast was a buffet of fabulous food and the evening meals we had were also great.

Nothing we didn't like. All great :)

Very much reccomended!!

The house architecture and the room design was impeccable. We ate for dinner and everything was delicious! Staff is very kind and professional, and the location is fabulous. We had a nice view over the mountains, 5 min by car to reach everything, but still enjoy the location.

the view is absolutely fantastic. the restaurant is amazing. breakfast was just delicious. rooms gorgeous ; staff super friendly and helpful. rooms very clean, all you needed available

Absolutely amazing

Vila Leonida offers an amazing view of the Bucegi mountains and looks absolutely fantastic inside and outside. It is very clean and all the personnel is very kind and available when needed. There is a lot of green around, beautiful flowers and the breakfast buffet offers many choices and is very tasty.

It is not very easy to reach it by foot, it is better to have a car, there is parking. There are not many paths for pedestrians, however taxis are available. Also the outside stairs are very big and slippery, it does not bother you if you are in good shape though.

Superb

We really enjoyed our time there, the strongest points were the amazing view from our room and the beautiful garden where you can just relax and admire the flowers or the mountains. There are even some friendly cats around. The staff was very polite and helpful.

The breakfast options were rather basic, but it was ok overall.

a perfect location to enjoy the mountains

the view, the restaurant( right next to the location) had a very good breakfast and also the staff was very nice and helpful

the expandable extra bed was not that comfortable; the outside stairs where full of snow and ice and were a little slippery, some salt on them would have helped

Nice location comparing with Busteni has to offer, too expensive for the value but with great staff.

We liked very much the staff! I think it was one of the best experiences ever in Romania when it comes to staff and that means all of them, from the receptionist, the people from the restaurant, even the cleaning staff, all of them. This was what gave us a good vibe during our stay there.

-too expensive for what it gave back as facilities - didn't like the temperature, either cold, either too hot because of electrical external heater as solution - the mattress was not comfortable

Great adventure

Brilliant place with lovely people and very welcoming. Great vintage rooms with beautiful views. Restaurant staff had a special care for kids . Thank you Lauretiu 😊

Steps wore a bit sleepy due to the weather but they have done everything they could to keep it safe.

A real gem in Bușteni, well worth the hype

Very clean location. Hotel staff wearing masks (not the restaurant staff though). Very helpful and friendly receptionist. Amazing breakfast, with multiple choices available. Breathtaking views both from the villa's garden and inside the restaurant. Very quiet during the night. Bonus: two incredibly friendly and well taken care of cats.

Poor/lack of choices for vegans/vegetarians in the restaurant's menu (La Cerdac).

Four beautiful days in a sylish villa, regreting we did not stay longer.

A superb historic villa in a dream natural setup. Plenty of spaces, and a garden to match the architecture.

To make it perfect, some of the staff could be more knowledgeable in the local tourism, and a few relevant books could be placed in the living room.

Wonderful villa, decorated in style with great views from the lovely garden. The restaurant serves good food as well. Clean and big rooms.

The location is not within walking distance of town center or other restaurants. The reception staff were not able to provide us with some information regarding activities in the surroundings (in English at least).

Great view

The villa has nice view over the mountains and it is very clean. Big like to the restaurant La Cerdac meaning good food even if we are vegetarians they were open to prepare something tasty and fresh. Special thanks to Chief restaurant Laurentiu, Ioana, Chef Nicu, Cristi and the entire staff as they've always done their best to make our stay warmful and cheerful. We'll be happy to return to Vila Leonida.

The heating is not centralized (probably because the hotel is listed as a historic monument). The heating system of the hotel is a fan based heating/cooling unit and it is a bit noisy and dusty. We asked for an electrical oil based heater which they immediatly provided.
