Relaxing, quiet and friendly

An excellent place to stay, with two lovely hosts, who were very attentive to our needs and did all they could to make us feel accepted and comfortable in their home. Only a few seconds drive to the nearest highway and a super quiet location. We will come back soon.

OK for an overnight stay

We were lucky in that the concierge was at the premises when we arrived which made entry a little easier.

Compact and Bijou is an understatement. Space was very tight, especially in the bathroom. I never did work out how to enter and leave the secure car park. The entry road could use some fresh tarmac too.

Great location within walking distance of the town. The owner, Sylvie, was very welcoming and responded to any queries very quickly. Secure parking was important to us too.

Short stay before a channel crossing

Convenient for an overnighter to or from a channel crossing. The place is clean, quiet and has secure parking, there's also a garden space to sit out. The host was pleasant and offered chilled water on the hot days we stayed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again

Bourbourg as a town has little to offer in the way of bars or restaurants.

Great value, calm and convenient location

Pleasant, convenient location. Clean building in a calm location, but close to lots of attractions and facilities. The room was comfortable, clean, with very good facilities. I had a problem accessing my key card, but a short call to Sylvie and it was sorted remotely - she was very friendly and patient with my poor French!

Nothing stands out - everything I needed was there and at such a good price, there was nothing I could criticise.

We stayed there 1night. Apartman has secured car park the staff very helpfull and gave us all code for entering which were quiete easy. Apartman it was very nice and clean.It had everything what we need.

Safety hazard.

When we went there they were repairing the stairs. So we have to walk on a narrow wooden plank to go to our apartment. It was so scary. We had our heavy bags in our hand to carry it up there we were worried he wooden plank might break at anytime. My kids had to walk on it too, this is safety hazard which we were not notified about before booking.

Wooden plank as stairs. If broken midair we would be staying in hospital instead of enjoying our holiday. The owner didn't even apologise

Absolutely brilliant. Would stay again if I’m in the area 100%. Best hosts ever

I loved the hosts! Absolutely wonderful people, drove me in their car to get a pizza before going to the cinema just so I could get something to eat on a Sunday in France!!!! The best hosts you can ask for. My room was so clean, I even had a full cutlery set and plates a bowls plus a microwave and Nescafe machine Well done you top people.

Despite the negative comments I have made, the room itself was clean.

I'm sorry to say I arrived to what looked like a building site. Boarded up and white washed windows, builders materials laying about. Beware, there are no staff. Issuing of keys is from an electronic machine by the front entrance. The computer did not recognise my booking despite trying three or four times. Luckily I had enough battery power in my phone to call someone who updated the booking confirmation. But not really what you need after a long journey. The coffee machine in my room did not work properly. It issued a mere thimble of coffee from both complimentary coffee pods. My quilt cover had two holes in it. The front security gate has been removed presumably for the building works so there is no real secure parking. All of the above is a shame because I imagine the place was and will be nice once the renovation works are complete. But I was disappointed. Maybe they shouldn't be taking bookings while renovation and building works are being carried out.

Very good

Very close to car ferry . Clean and easy to find . Check in so easy , no staff needed to be around .

Property was brilliant. The only problem which we faced is not finding a restaurant or supermarket open on Sunday afternoon, but this is not the property fault .
