The staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s like home away from home. The food is superb!! We enjoyed the breakfast and the dinner is icing on the cake, very delicious meals. The property is clean and value for money. I highly recommend The African Regent Hotel to you!!

The staff are polite and friendly. The restaurant's food is good. The hotel is clean and spacious with a strong Wi-Fi connection. The location was ideal, it's in close proximity to the airport and the City's malls. I enjoyed my stay. Cecelia was our housekeeping assistant (for the second floor) during our stay. She kept our room neat and tidy.
Generally speaking things are okay. There is always room for improvement but the African Regent is a good hotel. I would be interested in visiting the hotel again.

Friendly staff all over. Was greeted with a complementary glass of pineapple juice at check-in. Beautiful surroundings and very comfortable. Live music for dinner and the food was tasty (particularly their prawns tempura). I enjoyed this stay immensely.
Nothing, really.

The breakfast and location were good.
The service was very poor. Every interaction I had with reception took long and the staff was not very respectful or helpful.

Setting in the hotel is excellent with great decorative details with African tint all over the place. Really beautiful.
Room was comfortable, quiet and clean.
Staff are top class and are always available to help, regardless of which department help is needed.
Mary, the customer service manager is always keen to check if guests are comfortable, need help or have feedback. For sure this will help to keep the standard high.
Shuttle service is really convenient and comfortable for both times the family used it.
Good place - we will be back!
Nothing to report. We just enjoyed our stay..

I loved having a living room area as well as bedroom. The gym and pool were great. As was the lounge (with jazz piano player) and the food.

Very, Very mind staff, always a warm welcome and helpfull. Location is great, seemingly central. The hotel is good visited but not to busy. If you are looking for some company in the lobby, the daily pianist plays good songs.
Couldn't think of anything I did't like.
The pianist was very nice, I wouldn't mind some singing with the great songs that he was playing, maybe friday- or saturday evening bar with live pianist singing

The hotel staff was extremely pleasant and kind. They were for the most part extremely attentive to our group's needs. The Hotel looks and feels very much like Ghana. It is a pleasure to stay somewhere that looks like the country that you're in.
Unfortunately, our rooms were substandard. We did not have hot water, our rooms were not cleaned properly, our linen was not washed, our showers were flooded, and we were charged for room service that we never received. We contacted hotel staff and management several times regarding the issues we had and they tried to remedy them but they were not resolved during the 8 days we stayed at the property.

Breakfast was good
The card machine offered by the hotel is either incorrect or something else. I swapped my card with the ABSA Bank Card machine & it showed no transaction. The Hotel reception gave me another card machine that showed the transaction through. When I came to my hotel room after a few minutes, I found that the first transaction was through and the money went from my card, so I paid twice. I have not got my money back yet, I checked in on the 19th Jan Thursday and checked out 21ST Jan, Saturday and till today no money has been returned to my card to my bank account.
