Le personnel est très sympathique. L’endroit est propre et très bien situé.

My stay at this facility on the 30th of SEP to 7 of OCT 2023 , was very enjoyable. The staff was really kind , I LIKED THE CLEANLINESS OF THE Hotel. the area was best , you have a market close by right in front of you . Multiple optionally restaurant in the area . some take out & also delivery available to the mariotte. Everything was good there really recommended and I’m planning to go back again maybe in the next two month. @visitMariotteHaiti.com
No breakfasts included in your room expenses , you have to pay 30$ every day for breakfast. in case you don’t want to consume their very high expensive anything food there , you free to purchase food outside on your own. Food very expensive, Even twice the price of the USA . But guys please don’t judge them , i can understand the reason. they’re functioning in a country where every business is responsible to produce their own electricity, fuel price as y’all know is expensive. So they try to balance things. And i don’t want them to leave my country as many others did , i still purchase inside so i can encouraged them to stay . Food can’t be the inconvenience cause you free to go to outside resto. Glad I’ve been there. Thanks for their really good expensive food. Glad been there. I’ll be there again in future.

The staff is welcoming and friendly. They know the city and its risks, and are always ready to provide insight and advice on how to take care of yourself. It is also important to acknowledge the sophisticated security system of the hotel, it is like a fortress, but you don't feel extremely surveilled. There is a fair combination of CCTV and security staff making a great job to keep you safe in one of the most dangerous cities in the world, that is absolutely a plus. Getting a taxi in Port-au-Prince is rather risky and strongly not advised, the hotel provides reliable taxi services, and that helps a lot moving around the city. It is costly, but worth paying for. The rooms are spacey, everything is in pristine condition, super clean bed linen, bathroom, etc. Whenever you need something (like towels) the staff is swift responding. Noise isolation is great, you don't feel like being besides a main thoroughfare, beds and pillows are otherworldly. The internet connection was seamless, which is something remarkable in Haiti, even electricity supply worked most of the time, I guess the hotel has its own power plant, because electricity cuts are frequent throughout the city. There is an ATM inside the hotel, which is good, but it sometimes stops working due to electricity cuts. The restaurant (la Sirène) is top-notch, there are surely a good chef and kitchen team in there. You get Caribbean, Asian-fusion-Caribbean and authentic Kreyòl (créole) dishes, along with international staples. Prices are also international, but the food is excellent. The bar and cafeteria are also very good, the cafeteria has nice sandwiches and salads for lunch, not as pricey as la Sirène. Espresso drinks in the cafeteria are outstanding. The swimming pool is pure bliss, you somehow feel totally away from the troubled city out there. It is a pleasant, green, bubble to escape and relax. The gym is very good, the have treadmills and regular gear for non-pros.
Service in la Sirène is very slow. Yes, they prepare some elaborate dishes, and their super delicious food make the long wait worth, but they are super slow for international standards. This is somehow bothersome during dinner, but when you want a quick omelet or something outside the buffet for breakfast, it is better to go down earlier to la Sirène to get it served in time, otherwise you would have to leave off to your work or appointments and the omelet will still be in process. Checking out was complex, the credit card machine was not working, my driver was waiting to head to the airport, and they told me they would send me the final invoice (which I needed for reimbursement) later on. That never happened, I had to call the hotel from abroad, and I finally got it, but I would have expected it in my inbox without having to call back.

Great hotel with nice facilities and friendly staff. Excellent WiFi and shower pressure. Big room with a nice view. The hotel also provided me with a driver for the two days (for an additional charge) who was godsent.
Restaurant food and service did not match the quality of the hotel.
