Very clean, setting beautiful. Breakfast was delicious x
Beds are very short. Ok for us but we are only just over 5ft ! Wouldn’t suit taller guests.

Staying in the Lodge at Harvey's Point is the lower cost option to experience the beauty of adjacent Harvey's Point hotel and Lough Eske. Our room was tiny, with twin beds, perhaps reminiscent of a room on a cruise ship. It would not be a good choice for individuals with several suitcases (my wife and I each has a small suitcase and backpack) and who need more space. However it was well laid out, comfortable, and had the amenities most people would need. There was refrigerator in the lobby area of the Lodge, which also had seating and a selection of books. We were served a sumptuous breakfast each morning in the hotel that may be the best breakfast we've ever eaten. You'll probably need a car as Harvey's Point is about 3 miles from nearby Donegal. There are hiking trails nearby and other sights a short distance walk or drive away, including Donegal Castle. We chose to eat our dinners in Donegal as opposed to the hotel bar or higher end experience at the hotel restaurant.
Our tea kettle wasn't working, but we easily found a replacement.

beautiful location, breakfast was good, nice terrace overlooking the lake
The room in the lodge was very compact, no airconditioning, couldn’t leave the window open as room was on ground floor
Thankfully there was a fan.

Excellent. Our stay at Harvey's Point as always was first class. Very friendly staff. Beautiful place and great food. Thank you.
Would like to see a few items on the bar menu for people who may not be well enough to eat larger portions. Some plain food and plain desserts.
Desserts without high sugar content, soups or casserole chicken or beef or fish pie without a lot of salt. Selection of nice bread with organic dips.
