A localização.

stanza molto accogliente e particolare.
Aria condizionata.
Consigliato per soggiorni brevi.
Impossibilità di aprire le finestre la sera dato che la stanza al piano rialzato dava proprio sul bar.
Colazione senza scelta (solo croissant e caffetteria).
Doccia senza tenda, con lo scarico in mezzo al bagno (ossia bagno perennemente allagato).

The cafe is very nice. Breakfast is included at a very reasonable price. It is a charismatic building.

Nice hotel to stay. We had everything that needed, breakfast was included. Thanks that waited for us, as we arrived late at night.

the bed and pillows were very good! also good breakfast with amazing orange juice
the noise, you can hear everything going on outside. people walking in the corridor, the staff preparing the breakfast at 7 and earlier, every sound of the building, so we could not sleep.

Great location, cozy hotel, small and friendly.
8.0 / 10.0
Friendly staff cozy atmosphere.
Breakfast rather limited (coffee, juice, brioche). Due to the age of the building rather noisy and cold in winter.

We had an early bus to catch to Podgorica at 6am, and as we tried to leave the hotel we found we were locked in. We had to wake up the sleeping attendant, who wouldn’t let us out (on orders from his boss) until he checked that we didn’t owe any money for use of the mini fridge in our room. We even prepaid the room! They locked us inside over the mini fridge! That is deeply inappropriate and unacceptable, not to mention we could have missed our bus because of the delay

I can’t really rate the hotel because when we turned up to check in we were told there was a problem with the plumbing in our room so would have to move hotels to a place across the street, I’m not sure if this was true or if they had overbooked. The lady running the hotel was pleasant and showed us to the new hotel and explained that we would come back to Vila 1928 for breakfast. The new hotel was clean and the person running the hotel was nice, I really appreciated that there were blankets available.
The hotel was near lots of good food places and it was very easy to get to the centre the next day.
I would have ideally liked to have known in advance about the hotel change, I would have also liked to have been able to pay the hotel via bank card rather than the only option being cash. The last thing I wanted to do at 7pm after a long coach journey was wander around looking for a cash machine.
We were hoping to experience a hotel with a little history but the new hotel was very modern and generic, this was fine but a little disappointing as it was the reason why we chose the hotel in the first place. The new hotel was on a busy main street and was extremely noisy even when all the windows were closed, we got very little sleep, the walls were very thin and peoples alarms were going off for hours from 4am. We were so grumpy by the morning that we didn’t bother going back to the original hotel for breakfast. Sorry this isn’t very positive but we were hoping for a good nights sleep before a 25 hour journey the next day.

Good room size and clean, good location. Friendly staff. close to the main square. Walking distance to the main attractions.
Quite noisy as is close to a main road and the windows are not the best.

The location was great! easy to walk to centre and most places! Shops and restaurants nearby. The property has its ancient deco which was nice. The hotel has its bar where you can relax and have drinks. The room was okay, I had a nice room
The breakfast could be better, it was just a ham toast but with a veryyyy good freshly squeezed juice. The wifi was shakey while I was there but the staff tried their best to help.

Nothing!
We spent two nights at this terrible hotel!
First of all we did not get the triple room we booked. When I confronted the woman working there she claimed that these were the triple rooms. But they looked very different on the pictures!
Their breakfast is a joke. We got orange juice, coffee and a poor croissant. That's not breakfast - most people do not eat sweets for breakfast... It's unhealthy too.
Now the worst nightmare was on our second night. At midnight they started drilling the walls in their cafe outside. It was extremely loud and sleeping was not an option. When I went downstairs to ask them to stop as I simply wanted to sleep ( that's what hotels are for!) they just ignored me. The drilling continued untill 1 a.m.
It's not possible to park outside the hotel as the street is very busy and all the parking spots are always taken. We had to park our car 500 metres away from the hotel. Obviously it was not free. Dragging our suitcases on the very busy street in scorching heat was absolutely terrible.
Bear in mind that you have yo pay in advance in cash. Once you pay, they treat you like rubbish.
I do not recommend this "hotel" to anyone!

Spacious and good relation price / quality

The breakfast was just a croissant and coffee/juice but they were all delicious and adequate for our needs. We loved the quirkiness of this old cafe/hotel and would definitely return. It was a refreshing change from the more modern places we had stayed in previously. There was even Netflix in the room....we didn't use it but an added bonus for some
Unfortunately the wifi was poor. We wouldn't normally have cared but it was our last day and accessing boarding passes etc was difficult here.
