Very pleasant grounds and a lovely location, but part from that nothing much!

Room was quite poor, and very "tired". Fridge didn't work. Bed was very uncomfortable (far too soft) and wifi was close to unusable. Biggest annoyance was that when we checked out, the property had charged us €20 for the use of the pool. We chose this property primarily because it had a pool and was not shown as "payant" on Booking.com. We literally spent 15 minutes in the pool to cool off after a long journey and a very hot day. The pool itself was very small and occupied by some children having a swimming lesson so we could only splash around in one corner. I complained about this and the cost was removed, but should never have been added. the room also had a very little ventilation, as the only windows was the door that opened on to the car park, so couldn't be left open at night for security reasons. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, which is not unusual for France, but nor was there anywhere to purchase hot drinks after about 8pm when the bar was closed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
