Close to Durbuy, pets allowed and open bistro over new year
Chalet was not clean, welcome staff were over stressed and had to wait outside in rain and cold for 30 min to check in, only to be told that our chalet was not ready yet and come back in 2-3 hours.

The location of the site was good for easy access to Durbuy. The site had several opportunities for playing sports, basketball, football , swimming pool and a tennis court (that was at an additional cost).
It seemed to be uncared for. The pathway up to the property was overgrown, in fact we were unsure which mud and grass track to take. The property itself could have been lovely but it was very basic. Outside there was a decking area with wobbly flooring planks that made it feel unsafe. In fact, there were new decking planks on the floor below so maybe it is due to be updated. The deck area was covered in cigarette ash, really unpleasant. The property was advertised as having 3 separate bedrooms. The reality was that the ‘landing’ space, at the top of the ladder access to upstairs, was counted as a bedroom, which provided no privacy. This area had a velux window without a blind so was very bright from early in the morning. The 2 bedrooms were simply and adequately furnished but would have benefitted from mosquito blinds at the windows as it was exceptionally hot and airless up there. Downstairs was comfortably furnished. The gas hob only partially worked but as we did not eat in the property it didn’t affect us. The property itself felt like it hadn’t been used for a while and would have benefitted from an airing and thorough clean ( thick yellow dust/ deposit on the vent in the bathroom door). My family used the on-site pool, but only once as the water was very cloudy raising safety concerns.

The location is beautiful. The environment is quiet and surrounded by many trees. the cabin is cozy.
We did not find towels or soap, the description does not say anything about it. The beds and pillows are too soft and therefore not comfortable.

Location
Not good for anyone with any form of disibility.
Place was poorly kept with holes in door and frame. A lot of the building needed updating. Steps up to property very unstable. No handrail up to property. Outdoor deck old and rotten. Substandard plumbing. Old face masks on floor outside. Covid safe??? Description of property stated double bed and 2 single beds. 4 single beds were in the property

The place
The facilities are old and dusty and 2 expensive for what it was

Location, Smart TV, good working Wifi
Kitchen area was outdated.
Some doors didn’t close good.
Power outlet was off the wall by the bedside.
I guess it’s time for a renovation.

The cabin was nice and good space, and really great for our dogs.
Too small parking at the cabin. And the soroundings around the cabin could have been tidy up. And there was a big problem with bees and wasps all over.

It was not very clean unfortunately. At check out I saw a list of fines you charge people when not leaving it behind clean enough but this is very inappropriate if the place is not very clean in the first place.

house was confortable. good bed to sleep
staff not kid friendly at the restaurant. Swimming pool water was cold during the duration of the stay, staff at the reception couldn’t help or even try to help.

The cabin was lovely, very quiet in the woods, was furnished 10/10 very modern but still cozy.
Had some communication issues at the check-in and this put a damper on the first night. but the rest of the stay was lovely. Also the pool is very cold.

The closeness of everything, and staff at sunclass Durbuy were very helpful
The first chalet/ bungalow we checked in had an horrible smell, but after 4 calls, since the Jardins Durbuy weren't open on the weekend I got pissed. However, when they called me back they set us up in a way better place and it saved our weekend

The location, easy checkin and checkout.
Can have some more supplies in the chalet basics like a shower mat or a dustbin.
And thinner pillows.

The bungalow was very proper, very quiet, nice trees and birds. We had a luxe bungalow. Very nice!
From the terras, we looked at another bungalow. Luckily there were no people staying there, so we still had our privacy. The stair is a bit difficult to go to the bedrooms. It was dissappointing that the swimmining pool and tennis already closed at 5pM.

Great location to visit Durbuy and Adventure park. Nice, quiet and cute area.
Upon our arrival the chalet was dirty (even though a cleaning fee is added to the total cost) but they did make it right by switching us to another chalet. Other than that it was a nice stay. The stairs to the bed rooms are very small and narrow. Make sure to bring hand soap, towels, extra toilet paper. The park for the kids was great.

Close to Durby, which is a beautiful village
The staff is crazy about the towels and bed sheets. You have to bring your own towels, or pay for them separately in advance. When you check out, you have to haul the dirty towels and linens to the front office. It’s weird, and not the nicest way to end a weekend away.

Overall both the bungalow and the location were ok.
1 - The heating system was too nosy. 2 people that stayed in room closer to the boiler were not able to sleep. The 2nd night they stayed on the couch in the living room.
2 - At the reception people were not very warm. Moreover, as a welcome gift we received a roll of toilet paper. We were 4 and staying for 2 nights. There were no bath towels.
3 - If towels and toilet paper are not provided, the minimum thing is to have it announced. This way potential customers make and pay for their choices fully informed.
4 - Arrive to an isolated place, Easter’s Eve, at 5:00 PM and be confronted with this type of situation, I am sorry, it is not professional.
I’ve been using Booking.com for years and in quite a lot of places around the world. It is the 1st time that I have to complain for such an appalling and poor service.
