Lugar de relax

La tranquila del lugar en general, habitación amplia y la piscina.

Al ser un sitio rural, cuando comías o dejabas algo mínimo de comida en la habitación o la terraza se llenaba de hormigas. Que no hubiera cafetera ni plancha en la habitación.

Perfecto para descansar y disfrutar

He repetido, no es mi sitio habitual en San José al que voy unas 10 veces por año, pero sin duda es el que voy a elegir siempre que no pueda en el que acostumbro. Muy limpio todo, la piscina genial para el primer baño del año. Mucho silencio y descanso, habitación amplia y cómoda. Las instalaciones muy bonitas te hacen sentir cómodo.

Supongo que es por el arranque de temporada pero que la recepción y la cafetería estén atendidas por una única persona no es muy habitual. A pesar de todo muy amable y de buen trato el personal.

Great hosts, beautifully renovated Cortijo. Room huge, pool great. Food good, Difficult to fault.

The hotel is located a 10-15 minute walk into town but upside it's nice and quiet. Fly's are annoying rather than a problem particularly inside the hotel, I think there might be some way of reducing them indoors. Otherwise a great hotel.

Chill stay at San José

staff was very friendly. the pool was really nice. it is closer enough to walk into town for lunch or dinner. the room was very spacious. the place is very chill and relaxing.

there was lots of flies in the restaurant which was a bit unpleasant. the bed needed upgrading, was an old springs mattress not particularly comfy

Ok stay!

overall the property was good. clean, good facilities and comfortable.

I did not like the attitude of the staff. We wanted to play billiard one evening and they decided to just close everything up an hour before, so we could not make use of this. It was disappointing, because it was all because a staff member left their shift early. Not very responsible

Fantastic value, classy property, large rooms with terraces. Pool open in April (most aren’t)! Didn’t mind water being fresh as weather was hot. The amount of lounge space separated into sections was incredible, beautifully presented and full of character. one of the best places we’ve stayed in 5 weeks of touring.

Nothing, we liked the short walk into town and to the beach.

A few dollars more

The hotel is in a great location just outside San Jose but easily reached on foot. The building has been extended , but this is in keeping with the original house. A must for fans of spaghetti westerns! The rooms are spacious and very pretty.

I wish we could have had a few nights here!

This was wonderful! Took us a while to find it. Each unit is like a separate small villa with a terrace. The pool was great - and we had it to ourselves! Very quiet. The main building is beautiful, full of charm and character. We ate dinner in the dining room and for some reason were offered desserts after our starters! This is a vey Spanish hotel - not touristy so not much English (which is a good thing!) I must learn some more Spanish!

Breakfast was a bit limited.

Tranquil

Scenery and setting beautiful, a quaint hotel with lots of character, pool and area great, clean with toilets and shower. close to san hose village 15 mins walk where there,s a lovely beach,nice shops,lots of bar/restaurants.

Sadly really missed a kettle..

Nice, big and quiet room

Very nice room, huge and big bathroom. Comfortable bed and very quiet to relax. Nice swimming pool area and super cool to see the stars at night.

A bit far from shops and restaurants so it’s good if you have a car.

Superb

We liked the chilled atmosphere and the friendly and helpful staff. The place is very historic and typically rural Spanish. The choice at breakfast suited us and the dinners were excellent

The walking distance into town was further than we expected especially in the heat of the day.

Lovely room with a nice terrace out the back.

The location said beachfront but its actually a 15 minute walk to town.

great hotel with friendly staff

the actual hotel itself was amazing, pool was lovely and the rooms were clean. they gave us two single beds which is always inconvenient but not a spoiler.

the restaurant was disappointing, they host a bbq at the weekends but the food was too salty. however staff were great about it.

Lovely and peaceful but not enough options on the menu had 2 eat out every evening .

Breakfast was nice but the same every day ,need 2 cater for other nationalities as well as Spanish .

Very disappointed not value for money

Bfst basic 7 euro price fair.rooms adequate.staff very friendly.

Stayed here 15 years ago nothing changed.no bar or food service at lunch. Table on outside terrace sun damaged could not put drinks on.only stayed 1 night then left.needs general update.

Relaxing stop on a roadtrip

Very nice and clean swimming pool Staff allowed us to check in early (my compagnion was sick) Close to the beach and city center (restaurants) - a little under 1km Large parking available (free) Easy access

Some dead flies in the room (perhaps can't be avoided) Damaged showerhead (still useable)

A beautiful place to stay! Highly recommend

Absolutely gorgeous all round. Elke on reception was fantastic and made me and my farther feel very welcome. Check in was smooth, Elke showed us around the complex and explained how everything work in our room / apartment. Rooms were beautiful with a gorgeous bathroom and even better private seating area outside. All you can eat continental breakfast was only €7 per person - amazing! There are horses on site, wood peckers and lots of wildlife to be seen and heard. 5 min drive from gorgeous beaches.

room was very dark, outside terrace was poor, air conditioning didn’t work properly and room was very hot - didn’t sleep well at all - wasn’t as picturesque as the photos suggested

After confusion about being able to dine at our original choice hotel the receptionist was very helpful in arranging for us to stay at a sister hotel wherer dining was possible

Quite old fashioned room (but very spacious!) Only street parking at our ultimate destination.
