The host, Mary, was absolutely lovely and made our stay feel like we were welcome guests in her home.

We loved how warm and friendly our host Mary was. She was excellent at communicating with us and made us feel very welcomed. The room was spacious and clean.

The location is a bit secluded from restaurants or shops. You need a car to go into the next town for food or supplies.

I was happy with it.

What I liked most was the quality of the staff.

As a non driver, the difficulty of commuting between Ballycannon Lodge and Adare was tricky, but the staff was even helpful in this regard.

A great base to discover rural Limerick

Clean and comfortable room, plenty of parking space, beautiful garden centre with a cafe/restaurant on site, staff were very helpful and friendly, good wi-fi on site and bedroom was spacious to allow for laptop/study space.

Fantastic rooms, great value for money and wonderful host

Staying here was a delight. Amazing value for money compared to other places on our mulitstop trip, it was just what we needed to relax and reset. The room was immaculate, so clean and comfortable, with loads of space and basically a full lounge suite of our own. The staff were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and accommodating in every way. We loved popping over to the garden centre and ate at the gorgeous cafe every day, which is rum by the same people and equally friendly. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The lodge had a warm friendly atmosphere, which was created by the owners and staff. The room was large, stylish, comfortable and welcoming to weary travelers. The location was handy to all the smaller towns in the area and there was plenty of sightseeing available. I would recommend this lodge whole-heartedly.

Didn't avail of breakfast which is available next door in the garden centre restaurant but tea & coffee tray in room.

Didn't avail of breakfast which is available next door in the garden centre restaurant. Dinner finished at 18:00 so headed 10 minutes into Adare to eat, plenty of choice. Property only opening for the season so some decoration on going but did not distract from pleasant stay.

Very friendly hosts who really took care about us and our well being. Bikers welcome which is always a plus. Very tidy and comfortable room.

Excellent B&B!

Great location for anyone travelling between Shannon airport and Killarney, with really comfortable rooms and a really welcoming host, Mary. Breakfast in the cafe at the garden centre next door was excellent too!

Good stay

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was enormous and clean. Lovely garden, the view from the window was really pretty. Modern bathroom with a bath.

The lighting was bit poor.

Super hotel located in a small village close to Adare and the Limerick Greenway

Great location for Adare and Limerick Greenway -Beautiful large room with excellent decor and large comfortable canopy bed - large shower - good soundproofing no noise from road or other hotel guests - excellent value for money - I would definitely recommend this hotel

Would recommend.

We stayed here after attending a wedding in a different hotel nearby. The staff we met here were very nice and even dropped us back to the other hotel to collect our car the next morning.

Very nice

Very nice hotel. Room was huge, quiet and we slept great. The owner is very nice and at disposal. She replied every e mail in very short time. Very nice.

Unfortunately we came after 8pm and the restaurant was closed. But we were informed in advance about that, so it was not a problem for us to go to the town (6km) to have dinner.
