Very pleasant welcome even though we had to use translator app to communicate in English. It was quiet with very spacious room. Able to park car in street.
Close enough to walk to attractions and the main part of town.
Our room was booked as a double but they’d pushed two individually made up single bed together. The water cut out in the shower so very disappointed.
Our room price included breakfast but again disappointed as only offered tea or coffee, a glass of orange juice, a croissant or toast. Toast was baguette style roll toasted, so hard it nearly broke our teeth. We’d read reviews about others been given eggs & ‘tasty breakfast’ so this was a fail in our opinion. Came away thinking ‘ because it was Sunday morning- they couldn’t be bothered’

A great central place to stay, you’ve your own apartment so super handy food wise and for the extra space too. The breakfast was also delicious and lovely to take on the cafe’s terrace.
4.5
Huge place with nice living room, small kitchen, and even a small laundry room. Excellent air con, wifi, and comfy beds. They supplied laundry soap, helped us print some luggage labels, and overall were super friendly and helpful! Location is great for exploring the town.
There is a charge for dish cleaning supplies, which wasn't an issue for our one night stay but for an extended stay this is very odd.

Rooms are spacious and located within easy walking distance from the town centre. Reasonably quiet at night. Nice terrace at the cafe and good coffee and eggs for breakfast.
Rooms that face the river are quite noisy during the day due to almost constant traffic and the kindergarten across the way. Room doors are very loud when shut. No bedside light in the room.

Good facilities, clean modern
Lots of noise from upstairs till around midnight both nights, tv did work properly although we didn't bother following up with reception.

Good breakfast in the cafeteria - 2nd floor.
Large spacious apartment.
The hotel is located in a quiet area close to the old town and the camino route.
4.0
large, clean room with a small kitchen
we were in the ground floor, which did not have the best view. some mold in the bathroom

Nothing. The negatives ruined any positives the room had.
We are walking the Portuguese Camino. After a long hike all we want is a shower and bed. We have stayed at Hostels and on occasion a hotel. We looked forward to arriving to the Dabarca hotel since it appeared to have good reviews. Unluckily we encountered a rude receptionist. He even was annoyed with us. I just don’t understand this. Our interaction at most with a receptionist/host is typically no more than 5 minutes. So, this guy couldn’t accomplish being nice to us in this small timeframe. Then to top it off, he put us in a room that had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke. It permeated the entire apartment room. We do not recommend staying at this location. Maybe you will get lucky and get someone else as your receptionist but is it worth being treated rudely. I don’t think so.

Nice, large rooms. Very clean & friendly staff

Very large suite, and comfortable.
The kitchen lacks essentials, such as a coffee maker, sufficient glasses, a toaster..a cutting knife..

The staff at the front desk of the hotel is very friendly. My room was upgraded because there was an issue with the room I booked. I was very impressed with the room, cleanliness, and the amenities in the apartment.
I arrived on a Sunday - nothing in the city was open which isn't the hotel's fault, but the location makes it bad because there are no shops, groceries or gas stations nearby and basically no options at the hotel. I was told the cafeteria in the hotel would have food, but there basically nothing to choose from. They were basically out of everything on the menu. Not even a sandwich. The breakfast choices on Monday morning were just as bad.

I was expecting a little bit more on the included breakfast

very well located.
the shower was good as well 😊.
cleaning was not the best.
the most disappointing part was that the bedroom i booked was not the one it was given to me... i got a worst one of course, and no compensation was suggested nor given.

The apartment was large and clean.
No cleaning or drying equipment in the kitchen. Freezer desperately needed defrosting.
4.0
The facilities were great and it was lovely to have a tiny kitchen. Brilliant location close to everything.
Not very welcoming staff - they looked quite miserable. Kitchen not fully equipped so you have to bring your own soap, cloth and dish towels. Very overpriced and thin wall so it can be pretty noisy.
4.5
Nice, spacious room with kitchen, good location close to city center however you need climb stairs to get to the centrum.
4.5
Room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Just a few minutes walking to the city center.
Staff could be nicer.
4.0
The hotel is located at a very good location and had all we needed to stay with our family for one night.
The room was large, clean and well equipped.
The lighting in family size rooms/ suites where we stayed could be improved (at least in the living room area) as it was very poor.
4.0
Spacious, clean, great location
4.5
The location was ideal.
Nothing comes to mind.
