central location, easy to find and ample parking although not at the hotel

Altes hotel mitten in der Stadt. Zimmer war groß.
Lautstärke von außen. Wassertemperatur in der Dusche schwer einstellbar.

This is a period property but the room was nicely decorated
Lady receptionist was excellent very professional and helpful!!!!!!
The car is small
3.6
The front of the building
The noise from outside on the street and in the car park late at night. The loud music outside and the noisy other guests walking up and down the corridor telling ghost stories after 11pm.
Breakfast after 8pm at weekends! Why?
I had to be at work for 8:00 and therefore missed breakfast which I had paid for.
3.6
The breakfast was brilliant and I had one evening meal which was a great value , the location is near the Centre of Wellingborough so within a easy walk of the restaurants and bars
Parking was limited not helped by people selfishly parking between the marked bays

We chose the suit with the bath tub in the room and supposed view.
The view was directly opposite the town centre which was extremely noisy during the night till 4am in the morning. Seemed there was a bar nearby and so all night we heard screaming and shouting endless till about 4am. We could not sleep.

all was fine except when one of the staff reversed into my car in the carpark. All sorted and he owes me a beer on my next visit.

Friendly staff
The place is dirty , mould in the shower , very shabby interior of the whole building .. terrible parking facility
3.6
Very tired hotel. Staff very welcoming but needs lots of investment given charge at £133 for B&B
Communal areas new to be refreshed. Breakfast room very unwelcoming.
3.6
The breakfast was bate minimum however the cooked sausages and poached eggs were perfect.
The decor and damp smell. I suffer from COPD and damp smells are not good. Needs a revamp
3.6
Clean
We had to request heating. No food over the holiday time

The day staff were lovely and more then happy to give us more sugar/tea and milk as we got through it quite quickly being two of us and we love our tea. The building itself has a lot of character, and it felt like we almost had it to ourselves which made it quiet.
Sadly our stay was a little soured by the constant having to get staff to let us in the front door, which is understandable but frustrating. The one thing that soured our stay the most was a member of staff who was doing the night shift 2 nights in a row had bolted the door from half 9 at night and we were told we can only use the back car park for smoking, which would be fine but we couldn't go out and get food or go for a drink if we wanted to.. I felt like a child with a curfew. This time of year it would have been nice to have gone out and not worried about not being let in. I'm sure he would have let us in, but moaned about it. The room we were given needed some tlc, stained walls, wallpaper slightly coming off in places, and a small hole in the wall and the WiFi for the tv hadn't been sorted so my partner had to do that himself. We were given room 111, which is in the middle floor hidden right at the end of the hall. The shower was nice once it heated up which seemed to take quite awhile to do so. The heating was strange as it wouldn't come on until past midnight which overheated the room and my partner really struggled to sleep because of that. Lastly the beds sadly had a far too firm mattress which was quite uncomfortable to fall asleep in.

Location was convenient.
Hotel looked tired. Our room the bathroom needed a deep clean and a bit of TLC. No hot water in the morning for a shower either.

Dtayed in room 106 for 2 nights
First night was horrific in and out of sleep all night due to a humming noise! Spoke to reception in the morning about it and said he will look at changing my room. Went back after i finished work and not received a call or a message to change room.
Same again the 2nd night but noise started about 4am! Not what you want after a long day working.
Sensor light didnt work until i got near the room but walking down a dark corridor not knowing if theres a step.
Would i stay again absolutely not. And for the price id rather sleep on the street!
Git a video of the noise but cannot up load it!

From 4 am there was a noise like rats running through the ceilings. With it being an old building i put it down to the pipes. But not what you want!
3.6
Easy to get too as in middle of town, Room was well lit, non smoking rooms. bed was very comfortable and could open windows, bathroom was roomy, excellent breakfast. Lift accessible if needed.
Toilet flush was very noisy, taps confusing for showers, walls a bit thin, could hear couple in next room being intermit.
3.6
It was a nice relaxed stay, the staff were lovely and very helpful as my daughter is temporarily wheelchair bound, everyone was very polite and welcoming, food was spot on! will definitely stay again
3.6
Old building with character. Friendly staff. Room was good size. Breakfast was great.
Old sash windows had great character but let every noise in. Smokers in the court yard from the pub kept me awake. At some point I thought I'd better close the window, only realising it was already firmly shut

The hotel is tired and in need of updating - they have this going on but this did not affect us - but shower was good - bed comfortable - breakfast good - so really what else did we need?
let us judge when the alterations or complete

The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The. room was comfortable and clean. The shower was lovely.
There was no additional blanket in the room
There was a hotel leaflet but no actual hotel information book.
There were no menus or. notices in the bar saying food available so I had nothing to eat
3.6
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Nothing happy to stay their again

Staff were exceptionally helpful
Lack of parking

Check out
Very tired hotel. Obvious lack of investment. Bar area tatty. Sticky tables.
3.6
hotel full of history, on an ideal spot in town; services were good, breakfast was rather standard, nothing fancy.
3.6
only price. can add nothing else.
smell in the room, size of the room, corridors all was old fashion. that hotel needs renovation asap
3.6
Very welcoming staff and a lovely looking place!:)
The only thing was parking the parking is there just needs a sign to find it easier not a big problem though as the staff strait away point you in the rifht direction.

Great Location, Great size room
Short Staffed for Breakfast

Breakfast was excellent
Bed was wonderfully comfortable
There was a step just inside the bedroom door. There were NO warning signs Ann’s I walked in and fell full length into the room.
Mercifully I was not injured
This hotel shows no adherence to health and safety

We had an excellent stay and would recommend the Hind Hotel to others
All was good
3.6
I liked the historic nature of the hotel and the breakfast each morning.
The bed was very springy and somewhat soft. The hotel was also loud, with other guests shouting in the middle of the night. Overall though the hotel represented reasonable value for money.
3.6
Great location for where i needed to be.
The hotel is a little run down, however pleasant staff. The toilet in my room hadn't been cleaned and there were "stains" still in the toilet when i got there.
