Unfair Practise

Very rude staff

I had booked via booking but some how it wasn’t showing in their booking list. I booked directly via hotel at the reception. Morning when the staff changed & my booking some how showed in their system & they deducted my money for booking.com reservation too. I have been chasing them for a refund but due to their lethargic policies my refund is still under approval process.

Very good

Very good value for money for a last minute overnight stay and loved the clean white sheets and clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Perfect for our needs that night.

Not a particularly memorable or pleasant place

Good location for accessing the motorway. It was very cheap for a night.

Rooms were only “ok” - what I’ve come to expect from the Britannia chain. Another nearby room decided to have a loud party all night and there was a persistent ringing outside all night. Did not get a good sleep. The staff were also really blunt and rude. I wouldn’t bother going there again, not even for the cheap price.

Would not return.

When enter the entrance, it was unclean with cigarette buds all over the floor. There was broken leather sofas everywhere. Was very outdated. The room was basic but not very well cleaned. Beard hairs or something over the floor. Beds were rock solid. Would not go back.

Toilet did not flush, no running water, staff rude and rushed off to room. Key card didn't work 6 times to be told if I have to do this again it must be a broken door!! Two way mirrors and creepy halls leading to diserted parts of hotel... Uk's cecil hotel!!

Manners, cleanliness and just overall the whole stay could of beeen better! Stayed at travellodge thhe previous night and that was 10/10...this place wow

Location and Car park

No Breakfast though it was confirmed on my booking! To much sound at midnight Bad noise after every flush in the toilet Bed was not comfortable and clean enough.

At least they reduce the cost of our stay.

We were not informed before hand that there would be no breakfast or bar or spa facilities during our stay. It would have been helpful to have known beforehand.

Staff were miserable and the hotel is a disgrace. Dirty outside, bins full of rubbish and cigarette ends everywhere

Superb

I found the location to be very convenient. I did not have the breakfast so I cannot comment on this aspect. Overall, I found my one night stay to be very comfortable and very good value for money.

Good for a stop off

The close proximity to the motorway was brilliant for our stop off. The room was clean and comfy.

Need to clean the rooms

Had to move rooms as remains of durex items left on the floor along side someones toe nails ! Once we moved rooms the second one was just as filthy ! Clearly hoover around everything and dont polish ! ( see photos ) tv remote that old and hammered you couldnt read buttons.
