Zimmer wirken etwas altmodisch.

Beautiful location. It seems that the hotel was flourishing a few years ago and not it’s a bit worn down. The pool was great. The restaurant is ok.

We wanted to spend some time away, together with our dog. Castel Pont-a-Lesse provided a beautiful location with a park and nearby forest. It fulfilled our needs and expectations.
Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, up to our personal needs.
We enjoyed our dinners here. We chose a la carte one time and the other time we went for the buffet. Very nice that you have these options.
Like the dinners, also breakfast offered plenty of nice tasty choices!
The metal seats on the terrace are terrible (with or without pillow). They are uncomfortable and don't invite you to stay longer than absolutely necessary.
There is a place (brasserie) where you can sit and eat with your dog. Comparing to the rest of the hotel, this place lacks any character and would benefit from some nice decorations :-)

The room was good, the garden and scenery was nice. There’s Google chrome for the tv.
There’s a pool.
The shower was quite dirty. Part of the building was blocking the view.

The room was very big, very clean and well thought and had a nice view on the park. The hotel is located in the middle of a green area - very relaxing and quiet. The reception provided tips for a couple of nice walks leaving directly from the hotel and were flexible concerning the check-out time.
The stay was a little bit overpriced. Dinner was not meeting our expectations and the service was terrible (we had to ask for aperitif and wine three times, and so did the next table...). The first morning the cleaning lady knocked at our door shortly before 10h - we were on our way out but it was a bit weird!

Excellent location away from everything, and beautiful domain with large terrace, gardens, woods, and climbing rocks. Staff very professional, friendly and service-minded. Good food and facilities (salon, bar, jacuzzi, sauna, car park…). The pool is cool in temperature, so very well suited for doing one’s lanes (nobody plays in it!).
On two of my three nights (in July) I listened to the scouts camped right next door (between the hotel and the river) shouting and singing until midnight. On their last night they even lit a bonfire and police had to be alerted. So riverside rooms to be avoided in holiday periods if you like to turn in early. The place could be a perfect haven of calm if not for this, as well as for the perpetual shouts from paddlers on the river all day long.
Also, it’s time to repair the changing cabins in the wellness area.

Set among trees in a beautiful valley the location. was good. Reception staff excellent
The bar and restaurant were severely understaffed and service very slow. we waited 15 minutes to be served a cold drink when we arrived hot and tired from our journey and had to remind them twice. . Three waiting staff struggled to cope with the evening meal for all the guests. we edited 12 minutes for even a bottle of water, and the first course took nearly half an hour to arrive and when it did it was warm (cured meat and rocket with grilled? tomatoes). no salad options in 30 degrees heat. my husbands fish - pollock - was disgusting. tough and grey and the Caesar salad I had to request specially was limp and tired (like us!) and looked like an enormous heap of grilled chicken and stale croutons on a mess of hot lettuce. and the prices were high. really disappointing.
the swimming pool was grubby, the changing room a wreck with changing room doors and locks broken or missing, lockers similarly broken and wrecked, no showers as ladies area out of commission.

The view, small fridge in the room & free parking.
No hot water and aircon did not work the 1st night. 2nd night it was fixed, however there was a terrible noise throughout the night, we switched off the aircon and the noise continued. Beds are very uncomfortable. Not worth the money.

Good breakfast

the location and the whole domain is outstanding!!

Nice surroundings, close to Dinant, the staff is friendly, kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, the hotel bar is open until late. Dog friendly
Breakfast is fine, though not really tasty.
4.1
great service, very good restaurant, clean and comfortable room. And safe to park a old timer car in separate parking.
Small bar where a large group of guests were wuite noisy in the bar. During dinner this was not an issue as there are enough separate dining rooms.
4.1
The hotel and room was very nice
The restaurant was expensive and the quality of the food was average, therefore this did not represent good value for money.
4.1
Everything was very clean, the stuff very kind, the food great.

Location was peaceful. Restaurant was good as with the service
We could hear everyone passing our room due to the old floorboards in the corridor. Plus we also heard the doors closing loudly due to the closing system. You just couldn't shut them quietly.
The toilet was still really dirty.
4.1
The location is very pleasant, in the middle of the nature. The staff was really nice and the breakfast was good.
We had very high expectations as the pictures looked promising. However, the entire structure is old, the facilities like the swimming pool were also very old and not very taken care of.
The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom was really small and old as well. We were quite disappointed as the price for the stay was too high for the services received.
