Buena situación

Situación perfecta,enfrente al castillo de Blois. Ideal para hacer la ruta de los castillos del Loira.

Perfect voor een kort verblijf!

Super vriendelijk en behulpvol personeel, oud maar mooi hotel vol karakter en op een perfecte ligging!

Onze kamer was niet zo proper, er lag nog haar van vorige klanten in de badkamer, veel pluisjes stof in de hoeken van de kamer en spinnenwebben rond lampen etc. ondanks ik voor een gerenoveerde kamer met mooi uitzicht had gekozen.

Parfaitement placé, et personnel très gentil.

Cet hôtel, dans ses chambres rénovées, vaut un bon 3 étoiles : bon rapport qualité/prix. 👍

Le lit double était en fait deux matelas simples accolés. Pas de problème en soit, mais ils n’étaient pas tout à fait à la même hauteur, ce qui se sentait (chambre 12).

Great Location for Cyclists on Loire a Velo

Superb location, close to restaurants and shopping. Easy access down the main shopping street to river bike paths. Staff is superlative...very helpful! Lift makes ascent to upper floors much easier. Secure bicycle storage in work room. Great breakfast in a delightful dining room.

Halls and stairs need better illumination.

Logement pas assez insonorisé malheureusement. La propreté de la chambre laisse à désirer (de la poussière par terre).

Angenehmer Aufenthalt in stilvollem Ambiente

Die Lager des Hotels ist sehr gut, man kann einen Teil des Schlosses sehen. Das Zimmer renoviert und sehr ordentlich, das Badezimmer schön und sauber. Der Frühstücksraum ist ein Hammer vom Ambiente her. Das Frühstück selbst gut, Das Brot das Beste, das ich je gegessen habe.

Naja, das Treppenhaus wird wohl zuletzt renoviert....

Terrible staff communication, we called and texted them through Booking.com to inform our late check in but the hotel never reply so we didn't receive the code to open the main door at midnight

Nice room in an old hotel with ancient charm and nice views

No air-conditioning in the room which resulted in us not being able to sleep during three days due to extreme heat in the room at night. The maximal outside temperature was of 31 degrees Celsius. The direction of the hotel should seriously consider equipping the rooms with air conditioning

Fantastically French

The hotel was not ‘luxurious’ BUT it was exceptionally clean everywhere, bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and the manager was very friendly and helpful. Parking right outside the hotel was free from 18.30 until 9.00 and could be extended until 11.00 for a small fee. The hotel had a very French atmosphere and was in a perfect location to explore the beautiful city of Blois

Excellent, and you must seek out it ‘Ben’s Blues Bar.’ In the town.

Simple , un- upgraded room, typically 1960’s French, and all the better for it. Lovely breakfast and the breakfast room was very ‘ of the era’ , Think Maigret tv series, of the 1950’s. Superb.

Another night would have been better.

Amazing location

Great location across the street from the Castle de Blois, convenient for the evening night show. Town was safe and lovely, not too far from SNCF train station.

OK for a stop over, but needs renovation. Charming style on ground floor, but too old upstairs.

Friendly and helpful staff, very responsive and helpful for a late arrive. Nice old-fashioned dining room, breakfast was ok but basic. Great location, next to Blois castle, close to city center. Nice towels, comfy beds.

Room was super warm at night, even with the 2 fans. Room and bathroom size is ok, but need renovation, very old even for the style.

Great location, fantastic value for money

Fantastic location. Super close to the central city. Basically across the road from the Royal Chateau, and very close (2-3 min walk) to a good parking garage. Breakfast selection was not enormous, but the croissant and baguettes were delicious. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

Nothing. Hotel is a little old, and some small things could be fixed, but then you would be paying much much more. For what you pay, the hotel is excellent!

Unique hotel with a great location!

The location was great! 10-12min walk from train station down hill, across the street from Chateaux Blois and a gorgeous church on the other side. Really easy to walk to the main sights and catch trains/busses to other chateauxs! WiFi was great!

Very good

A grand old lady ... while a little tired (they are renovating) she was spotlessly clean. Comfy beds. Good sized room. Close to everything. Gave a sense of stepping back in time.

It could get hot .... no air con but fan supplied. Bathroom, while clean and functional, was tight.

Our stay in Blois was very nice but not enchanted by the hotel accommodation.

Hotel checkin was good. Lift a nice bonus as the room was located in the ‘attic’ and had low beams which I didn’t think were mentioned. In addition to that the room had paper thin walls and consequently the night we stayed had a very bad nights sleep owing to the snoring next door. On top of that although the bed was comfortable enough it was very small because of the incredibly tiny sized room. Roof top views were best taken in standing as there was little space to sit and relax other than in the teeny bed. Shower was ok and the overall decoration and cleanliness was good.

Location near Chateaux.

Very small cramped rooms. No fan in room.. And it was 25c. Staff said I would have free breakfast and then charged me for the two days breakfast. Even though they said it would be free. Lying staff not acceptable.

SOOOOOO beautiful!!!! Way more gorgeous than I thought!!! Amazing location!!!! I loved this place.
