Best place on the island

It was the best location on the island. The beach was steps away and within walking distance to everything in town.

The only thing that bothered us were the dogs. Sometimes we would see them urinate on the beach. I wish they had a designated spot for the dogs.

Atención de Fede, Arely, Zulmi… excelentes ellos!! Felicitaciones.

Mi hija enfermó y no hubo preocupación por parte de Gerenta de Hotel, no nos quiso atender personalmente para exponer nuestro problema, solicitamos reunirnos y envío a decir que estaba ocupada…. Gastos médicos sin reembolso por responsabilidad de hotel. En cambio Srta Gerente de restaurante estuvo preocupada y nos ofreció disculpas. Muy bien Arely Ceballos. Estuve en febrero 2023 en familia, luego regresé en Mayo con mi esposa y regresamos en familia el 30 de diciembre para pasar año nuevo…..

Lage war top, Räumlichkeiten sauber, Strandzugang und Restaurant war sehr schön

Beyond place to be …

Beyond great place , made my holiday going to the next level and I’m a Genius 3 level and the owner of 40 Hotel - apartments on Booking.com . Sevice and staff was amazing. Actually we didn’t leave the hotel for almost 6 days , they gave us , more than what we wanted. This is the place to be on Holbox and I can’t wait to be back..

Almost Paradise

Very good breakfast. Nice beach club and restaurant. Live music at sunset. Special thanks to Marijo, Aldana and Alejandra: They were aware of the needs of each guest.

Some days the music was very loud. The mosquitos were terrible!!! I would suggest citronella oil or candles. During our stay, part of the hotel was under renovation and that was quite annoying, especially due to the noise that also lasted a couple of nights ( Now it is finished, and beautiful).

Perfect location!

Located on the beach and close to the heart of Holbox Island, we could not fault the location of this hotel. The adjoining restaurant and bar were amazing and we ate and drank here several times. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff did a marvellous job of making us feel welcome. They also kept the beach as free from seaweed as possible, which was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends, family and anyone looking for a fabulous stay on Holbox Island.

The room had a damp smell, despite being very clean. I imagine this is due to drainage. This wouldn't hinder me from staying again or recommending to others.

Loveley beach access and good breakfast.

Lovely condos with beachfront. The breakfast package was served with healthy ingredients and was sufficient to start the day. The review is based on the Hotel Posada Yalekin because we wanted to change the rooms since Amaite Beach Hotel only has rooms with either one Queen-size bed or two King-size beds (with additional costs). We still had access to all Amaite Beach Hotel facilities and got breakfast included without extra costs. However, even after having two separate rooms, we needed to walk like 3min to get to Amaite Beach Hotel (which was still OK).

In Hotel Posada Yalekin we encountered bed bugs. Unfortunately, there are no rooms available with only one King-size or two Queens-ize beds in Amaite Hotel Beach.

interesting location, great view, don’t expect a 5 star hotel

The hotel itself has the best beach and most incredible views near city center and easily walkable. you will need to take a taxi (golf cart) from the ferry to the hotel.

Something is wrong with septic it smells, also the rooms were humid and musty. They sell day passes to beach goers meaning sometimes hotel guests don’t have a place on the beach. They staff is not very friendly, and multiple incidents related to charges.

We liked everything! What a paradise.

The breakfast was good but we expected a bit more variation. Not everyday the same plate. In our opinion, A breakfast buffet would take the whole experience to a next level.

Nice rooms but don’t expect to get any sleep due to the loud music coming from the hotel bar

My room was nice and clean. The wait staff and the housekeepers were friendly and nice

*the bar/restaurant plays music until 3am every day so it’s impossible to get any sleep. I left the Hotel feeling very tired and it shouldn’t be the case when you go on holiday and try to rest. Even earplugs didn’t help, you could still hear the music as it was ridiculously loud + you would get the vibrations to your bed from the beats *the bed and pillows are very uncomfortable *I wasn’t very impressed by the girls at the reception. I found one quite rude and another one didn’t speak good enough English to deal with foreigners

Extremely overpriced, good room facilitated but much Breyer value on the island found elsewhere. Dont bother with breakf

the room was comfortable and clean

The staff were rude and unaccommodating. We had breakfast included and were leaving at 6am on our last day we asked if we could have breakfast on the day we checked in instead but they said no. They said they would prepare breakfast boxes for us to take with us but did not . On the days we did have breakfast the bread was stale, you get a teaspoon of yoghurt and teaspoon of granola, the eggs were tastelss. They do not give you a choice of juice - We stayed at several hotels on the island and hotels half the price gave a full a La Carte service for the nightly price it was extremely poor quality. We had lunch at the hotel one day again the tortilla chips that came with the ceviche were stale, it took a long time to get drinks that were ordered. The location is not as nice as other hotels down the beach.

Fantastic location! Beautiful sound of the water lapping on the sand when you wake up every morning was amazing. Beautiful friendly staff very helpful and polite, brekky was great too!! I was honoured to be the first guest stay in the hotel since the renovation! Very very nice rooms

Probably due to my lack of research but the area is quite loud! If you are an early to bed person perhaps book further up the beach, the hot corner backs onto the hotel and plays music until early hours of the morning on some nights. On the plus side, very close proximity to the action!

The staff were extremely accommodating and personable. The location was wonderful for beach access but at night it could be a bit loud with the bars nearby. Earplugs worked well. The noise at night was worth being right on the beach.

The location is excellent if you want to be close to a party area. The bedrooms are clean and have all the essentials, it is excellent that you can have a place right at the beachfront where you can spend the day.

The staff can be a bit annoying for gratitudes, it can be very frustrating if they are asking for a high percentage tip and on top of this, the food price is way too high. This is not the best place to spend your money on food, I suggest you get some lovely coconuts from the people that sell them on the beach. The breakfast was pretty average the service was bad

Was short and very sweet.

We really loved this place, at first we almost didn't stay here because it didn't have a pool but I'm so glad we did. Location was perfect, rooms were clean, staff was friendly (actually seemed like they loved working there which just gave the place such a great vibe). Bar and restaurant staff were Amazing, drinks were on point, Special shout out to Rufino, Chino and Pedro, but honestly everyone was great. Highly recommend and would def come back

Is it a nightclub or a hotel?

Beautiful view and beach setting, BUT …

… if you want to relax and enjoy your holiday, this is NOT the place. Such a shame that they cannot decide whether they want to run a hotel or a nightclub (and yes, they start the nightclub musik (and volume!) already before lunch time, so good luck trying to relax at the beach). We left with a headache - not worth the price!!

Prescheduled transport didn’t work perfectly. The scheduled taxi from the pier to the hotel never came. Service was a bit slow.
