Et hotel som ikke tar handikappede gjester på alvor

God seng

Ingen hjelpemidler i dusj og wc for handikap på et rom som var betegnet for handikappede. Fikk en campingstol til å ha i dusjen. Ba om dobbel overmadrass - ikke mulig! Ukoselig frokostsal. Dyrt!

Fantastisk flott hotell med fin gammel atmosfære. Nydelig frokost:) Koselig sportspub med enkel og god mat 🤗 Deilig med morgenbad i det flotte bassengområdet.

Mat tilbudet, vet det var lavsesong men hade endå foretrekket att ett såpass stort og velkjent hotell hade noe annet og tilby æn buffé den kvelden

Hyggelig betjening, romslige rom med stil og helt grei frokost.

Jeg er skuffet selv om hotellet er fint og godt utstyrt.

Jeg bodde i første etasje rom nr 109. Det kom en gruppe turister fra Asia. Noen, som bodde rett over meg i andre etasje var oppe kl. 4 om natten. Personen bråkte, snakket, badet osv. Gulvet er gammelt og ristet. Jeg gikk til resepsjonen og ba om å snakke med denne personen og be om å være stille. Det skjedde ikke. Jeg måtte gå opp selv, banke på døren og be om å være stille. Jeg fikk ikke sove den natten og kjørte langt dagen etter i dårlig form. Personalet var ikke hjelpsom, gulvet er gammelt og man hører mye fra andre rom.

Nice hotel in a good location

I liked the pool and made immediately use of it once I had checked in. The breakfast was nice and the location was perfect as it was in walking distance to the train station

For some reason the TV and lamp were not plucked in. It took me a while to figure out that the socket for the TV was actually in the upper corner of the room. The changing room to the pool was a little bit dirty and there were no more towels left. Luckily I had brought my own with me.

Overall a good place to stay. Good food and great location.

The location!! The staff front desk were super helpful and nice. Also the staff in the restaurants and housekeeping were very helpful.

Bathroom was a bit worn, and not enough towels and washcloths. There were dog hairs in the sofa. And no plug at the nightstand.

Okay but wasn't quite what expected

The breakfast was great at the hotel. The overall space is quite a complex and has a lot of character. Very close to the train station. Comfortable bed.

Unfortunately the pool and spa were closed where closed for the dates we booked. We did not know that until we got there. I would definitely do some outside research when you book to see what is available for the dates you are reserving. We had other plans in the area but I would have been disappointed if Dr. Holms was our main event. The bowling was only open on weekends or Thursday - Saturday, I think. And the restaurants in the area had not great hours for us. The town was kind of between seasons. The staff that checked me in was stand off-ish and I felt like I was having to ask a lot of questions without being offered much in return. But later I had really good staff encounters. Our bathroom light flickered on and off the whole time - I should have mentioned it but I figured the staff knew because cleaners came through and update our bathroom with towels.

Clean and cosy with central location & fantastic views

Very relaxed atmosphere and generous breakfast board. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. Loved that it was so accessible to the Slopes and local shops, and the view from our bedroom across the valley was utterly stunning!

The bed mattresses were just a little too soft for us, but the room was so cosy and clean, we coped just fine.

We had a brilliant ski holiday at Dr Holmes hotel!

Perfect location, few minutes walk to the closest ski slopes, really good breakfast. We are extremely happy!

We loved the hotel, amenities, and location.

Breakfast was very good and staff did an amazing job restocking food and cleaning.

Felt the hotel was a bit understaffed mid week. The pool locker rooms were disgustingly dirty. There should have been staff to clean them. Plus the hot in was shockingly small and not that warm.

Don’t hesitate to book. Worth every penny.

The location close to Geilo centre, skiing facilities (hire, lifts, ski school) plus the hotel facilities- awesome spa with rooftop jacuzzi! Lots of space for you to hang out in various lounges. Good options for food with either buffet evening meal, a la carte or more casual sports bar (they also allow you to take away) if you fancy a meal in! Nothing is too much for the friendly staff. Best hot chocolate in Europe. We will return.

Nice hotel

Beautiful old hotel. The bowling alley is a lot of fun and so are the indoor swimming pools.

Some areas of the hotel need a bit of refurbishment.

A fantastic hotel a real ski lodge in the mountains fantastic location,beauiful views.

The swimming pool and jacuzzi were quiet and available all day, and breakfast was excellent our request for a room with a view was accommodated in style.
