That it didn’t have wifi in the room, only in the hall, and that there was no pillow sheets??

it was a lovely location, quiet but close enough to everywhere for good travelling.
no hot water, very uncomfortable bed and bedding, can hear guests in other rooms, slightly claustrophobic. someone came in our room - security was poor. lock on door broken

Good location, I could leave my luggage at the reception after check-out and come back for it inthe evening.
Bathroom was clean.
We were on second floor, Wi-fi was good.
When i tried to contact the hotel no response on phone or messaging. Insects in the bed. Very narrow corridor and lift, so if you are with big luggage or with a restricted mobility, it't hard to get to the room.

The worst room in paris

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered and over a month later I am still dealing with consequences of irresponsible management of Hotel Roi Rene. After sleeping here I discovered swollen itching bites all over my body. I initially suspected bed bugs and I saw signs of an infestation on the bedding. When I reported this to the reception, the front desk lady demanded to see proof of bites on me, and even still after I undressed to show the 60+ bites on my back, arms, hands, chest, and neck, they refused to believe me without pictures of the insects that bit me. This is ridiculous for several reasons but clearly this hotel had no knowledge of bed bugs because they are known to hide until nighttime. When I pleaded to be changed into a different room my ask was denied. I was told to just take photos if I see them but that there was nothing wrong with the room. At this point it was too late for me to find another hotel. That night I saw dozens of bed bugs crawling around the bedding, at which point I quickly recorded a few videos and packed my bags. I spent that night sitting on the bench in the lobby. When I showed the management photos and videos of the infestation I was dismissed and ignored. They never responded to my emails or calls since. While I stayed there the bed bugs got into my belongings and I have since thrown away most of my clothes, my suitcases, and had to spend a large sum of money to change plans to avoid infesting other homes. This was a serious infestation. Almost a month later I am still covered in bites and I am still shocked at how this situation was handled with complete negligence by the staff. I believe this hotel deserves to go out of business for how this was handled. I seriously doubt that an exterminator was ever called and they are putting more people and their children in danger by not addressing their bed bug problem. I hope no one has to go through this after me but I am sure dozens of guests have been exposed since.

For the price the location was great and the room was a perfect size for a couple.

my room view was amazing and the neighborhood was so pretty

There was no breakfast facility although the advert said it was available at extra cost.
The location was excellent for getting around the city. Lots of restaurants nearby. Area felt safe.
The room was adequate but no tea-coffee making facilities. Very close to nice cafes and bakeries with plenty of choices for breakfast etc and surprisingly low cost eg €2 for coffee and croissant, €6 for a lovely baguette filled with tasty fillings.
Hotel very basic but staff friendly and helpful. Building doesn’t look appealing from outside but once inside it’s fine. Beds were comfortable but pillows not so good.
Shower excellent, room cleaned daily. No toiletries available. Hairdryer available at reception.
The pillow was very lumpy and uncomfortable so I would think new pillows needed.

Bed bugs!

Staff was really nice. Location and surrounding of hotel was nice. An elevator was there. Minimal, not overstuffed room was nice.
No wifi on 5th floor! Room was not ready when we came to check in at 2 pm. Room was clean, but everything was really used/old. Bed was unstable and big shower head covered in limescale. One bedside power outlet didn't work. Strange smell when we first arrived.

clean room, comfy beds

Location very good.
No bedside lights, so choice of nothing or soccer stadium bright.
One towel for two people. Although reception had no problem supplying another.
Good location, friendly staff (when present).
Not cheap enough to be budget choice, stayed in better for less.
Some simple improvements and I would recommend.

Perfect location. The hotel is close to the metro station and in nice and warm residential district.
The area is safe (by day and by night) and fullfilled of nice shops and cosy restourants. We loved Battignoles.
The hotel is basic, but with a high price/quality ratio
Reception is not always availabe

The location was good and it was inexpensive.
Weak internet, dirty walls, not a functional bathroom, smelled like cockroach spray, there were people sleeping in the lobby couches, no ac or fan.

Loved the location. I had everything I needed from the hotel and the staff were friendly and courteous. I loved the security of being able to return to my room to relax. I also loved the park which was very close.
It was hot and I had to keep the window open. I come from a very quiet place and the sounds of people and vehicles in the neighborhood was a bit hard. It was part of the experience though and part if the environment.

The WORSE hotel ever . I’m traveling a lot and I’ve never seen a hotel worse than this . The rooms are having a bad smell plus my trip was ruined due to the presence of BEDBUGS ! I was stung all over my body and this ruined all my stay in Paris . I asked for a refund and nothing happened yet !
2.9
seriously nothing
very old - no ac in all the hotel - rooms hot and small — lights very low inside the room - elevator very very very small - stuff not professional at all !!!

Great location. We stayed at 6th floor and had a lovely view too.
Prepare a 20 EUR CASH deposit upon arrival. The pillowcases were dirty.

The room was ok but expensive.
Staff was disappointing, rude and disrespectful. they charged me €2 more than it supposed to be on Booking.com.
2.9
the location is very nice, good neighborhood, close to the underground, shops, not expensive local cafes, restaurants, ATMs, green area.
the lift is very narrow, stuff asked for the details of the credit card, including the cvv code, which is against the payment system rules; also it is indicated that it is possible to check in till 00:00 in the Booking.com,but we were warned the last minute to be at the property at 23:30 the latest; the room wasn’t clean, the shower was not super comfortable and I had to ask for the hairdryer, which wasn’t in the room and failed to work after 2 min of usage.
