Sehr gutes Hotel in ruhiger Lage

Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Durch unvorhersehbare Ereignisse sind wir erst gegen Mitternacht angekommen. Wir haben der Rezeption Bescheid gegeben, die den Schlüssel daraufhin in einen dafür vorgesehenen Tresor hinterlegt. Dies hat reibungslos geklappt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und es gab eine große Auswahl, auch die Qualität erschien mir gut. Wir hatten das klassische Doppelzimmer, was zwar vom Einrichtungsstil etwas älter war, dafür aber sehr gepflegt und sauber war.

Beim Frühstückstisch hat man die Augen der Bedienung gespürt, die darauf gewartet haben, die leeren Teller einzusammeln. In meinen Augen ist das kein richtiger Kritikpunkt, sondern zeugt von Aufmerksamkeit. Dennoch hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass dies etwas mehr im Hintergrund abgelaufen wäre.

Great, quiet location and new, contemporary chalets

Great, new and contemporary chalets with an infra-red cabine in the room! This was a really nice surprise to me.

A great weekend getaway in the chalet, a true treasure with the mountains and nearby lake Hintersee!

The staff and facilities were great. The chalet was absolutely wonderful for our family. Attention detail and the highest comfort was attained by DAS Hintersee. Breakfast was plentiful and a pleasure to dine on the terrace. Dinner from the menu card was exceptional. We will return… a wonderful getaway, without all the tourists around the big lakes in the area.

Clean room and hotel. Restaurant downstairs.

Breakfast was average considering the high standard the hotel is pretending to be. Room nothing special, view from balcony horrible. Internet not working due to failure.

Exceptional

Room was extraordinary good. Very modern with an infrared cabin. Bathroom was open and connected with the bedroom. Breakfast buffet was decent and got a variety of food. We got half-board, so dinner was included.

The SPA was closing quite early, could have been open a bit longer. It has been opened until 9pm, but the second day it was already closed at 7pm.

Very good

Great location within short walking distance of the Vintgar Gorge and in a lovely surroundings. Modern facilities and very large guest rooms, with on-site gated parking.

I would have liked more choices at breakfast.

Das Hintersee - Fabulous

Great location. Great facilities. Friendly staff. Excellent restaurant. Extremely varied breakfast buffet and evening salad buffet. Fabulous wellness facilities and very clean. Will definitely return again for a weekend.

I’ll be back annually.

This is a rare gem. Outstanding in every respect. Remote and therefore quiet and near great hiking and biking. Exceptional SPA and restaurant. Rental bikes and helpful staff. The next visit will be our third.

kindness of staff in the village . the chalet was amazing and clean 😊 breakfast fresh and delicious . it’s located in great village for people who want to relax … and tranquility..

the location is very far from Tourist places. because I wanted to visit different tourist places in Austria. There is no center and shop in the village . value of money .

Superb

Very welcoming staff. Opa and Oma were excellent hosts. Spa facilities were great. Restaurant menu and Food were excellent. Hiking and biking opportunities plentiful.

Highly recommend staying here.

My stay was magical - it was the one year anniversary for my boyfriend and it was the perfect place!

I love the room and the balcony and the amazing view. The staff were very kind and made sure my stay would be as comfortable as possible. I was actually working from there on the Friday - and the staff (woman with tied to pony tail blond hair) showed me where i can plug in my laptop and asked me if I wanted coffee and refill even after breakfast time - i think she could tell i was very stressed.. She was very kind! The spa and sauna was fantastic - the hours were reduced due to covid - but for me it was the perfect timing to go after work and relax there for 2-3 hours. It was absolutely perfect!!

The Wifi could have been better - this is because i was working from there and my virtual connects were not connecting properly. Also the second day the wifi was not working entirely - which meant i was not able to pay for the property and I had to do a bank transfer after. Normally i would not mind - but because i have UK bank account - I was charged extra for the currency exchange rate from GBP to Euro.

Beautiful stay in Hintersee

We had very short, but very pleasant stay. The staff of the hotel is amazing. Big thanks to them! Very clean and tidy facilities and rooms. Comfortable beds. Big and good breakfast. Didn’t have opportunity to enjoy spa or their restaurant, but we are planing to come back! Very nice location.
