Most visit place for lots of activities, palace life and great hospitality. We stayed for 2 days but yet a lot more to explore within the palace.
Nothing that I don't like

The ambiance and activities were amazing. So much attention to detail, including musician playing the flute during breakfast. The whole experience from top to bottom was fabulous
I wish there were more vegan items on the menu! The chef was happy to accomodate, but it's always nice to have options, especially when you're staying for a few days.

The welcome gesture was very smooth and relaxing. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I love breakfast.
Everything was not operational as it was the first day after reopening.

A really wonderful splurge on our trip to Jaisalmer. Staff was wonderful. perfect place to relax and enjoy an inspiring place. Live music in the courtyard during breakfast and the Rajasthani music concert in the evening made this even more special. The staff was determined to make sure that we had an enjoyable stay. A real treat !

Extremely hospitable staff. special thanks to the duty Manager Mr. Piyush, who made our stay very comfortable. Exhaustive spread at breakfast with local delicacies.
Everything at the property was superb, but, reservation team sounded very arrogant and non cooperative when the flight got canceled initially

Hotel facilities are truly amazing. Make you feel in another world. Food, service (all staff) and spa are fantastic
Room itself is just average, especially considering the hotel's commom areas and services (restaurants, spa, etc). Not a huge issue though

location, food and staff
service in room, like they won’t refill or keep more bottles of toiletries, even when 3 guests were staying only 2 mugs were kept and when asked to replace staff came to collect used ones and gave after washing

We had a great time at Suryagarh, the room was spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was almost the size of the bedroom and sparkling clean. Staff was extremely hospitable and attentive without hovering. The breakfast buffet was a treat for our senses (be sure not to miss the outstanding juice bar!) and we appreciated the complimentary sweets we found in our room every evening. The premises are vast and well kept, the gardens are certainly worth a visit. Suryagarh also offers high quality musical evening entertainment every evening. The semi-outdoor swimming pool is airy and wonderful to swim in after a hot day in the desert.
One should beware that Suryagarh is located some 18km outside Jaisalmer, so you need a cab/driver to get there and back. Also, it is a big hotel, with very hospitable staff for sure, but if you’re looking for a homey, cozy feeling, this might not be the place for you. Otherwise we wholeheartedly recommend Suryagarh!

property itself is a good one
I had a room which was totally in a corner and no view at all
5.0
The architecture and layout of the property transports you right in between the life and times of Rajput kings and queens and every experience is designed to make you feel royal in every way and it began with being greeted with echoing bellows of drums and mesmerising tunes of local folk singers. Throughout our stay we were exposed to numerous performances by generational artists which in the backdrop of silent serenity felt absolutely magical.
The food was indulgent and the authentic Marwari cuisine elevated to fine dining standards but still kept true to their rustic beginnings was an unforgettable experience.
We were quite impressed by how even otherwise benign moments were populated by pleasant surprises, be it a host of sparrows joining us for our breakfast or beautiful peacocks accompanying us on our leisurely strolls.
But without a doubt what truly uplifted the grandeur of our stay was the hospitality of the entire staff. I don’t say this lightly - We visited Suryagarh for its visuals but we left missing its people the most. Genuine kindness is a hard trait to train even in the hospitality industry and the love and passion with which we were treated left a last mark on our memories.

Best staycation by far near Thar desert. Property has it all activities in and out like cultural evening, traditional food, outdoor dinner , dancing with peacocks etc. The staffs are very courteous and loved the haveli and its ambience.
