Tolerable for an overnight stop but the place needs some love

The pool area and spa were nice. The beds were pretty comfortable and the linen was clean. There was a good amount of power points. The room had been partly refurbished, but needed more work done

The room overlooked a skip bin overflowing with rubbish, there were building materials and junk in the car park so it wasn't possible to park outside the room. There was also debris through the garden. The odd numbered rooms face the busy Moss Vale Road, so it was noisy once the commuters started. Presumably the even numbered rooms are quieter as they're on the other side of the building. The walls needed a wipe and parts of the bathroom needed a good scrub, including under the vanity and the shower grout. The floor near the fridge cupboard was damaged under the carpet and was a trip hazard. There was 1 chair for a family room, it would be better to not provide a (tiny) table and leave more space for bags

Very enjoyable place to stay

The rooms are very spacious and the greenery outlook is very pleasant as is the Palms restaurant and nursery next door.

Initially there wasn't a microwave or plates and cutlery in the room and as we arrived in the late evening with takeaway dinner, we were not able to heat it up so had cold takeaway.

I was expecting a 'resort' but got a tired motel with staff doing their best.

It was quiet and staff were helpful. The shower was great. The hairdryer was good. the bed was comfortable. It was good to be on the ground floor. A late checkout was easy to arrange at a low cost.

The reception area was hard to find. The room was average with rough repairs. The air conditioner was noisy and had to switch both the aircon and the fridge off for the night. The food was very average both for dinner and breakfast and not worth the price, although the Cesar salad was good.

Room was comfortable, quiet and clean

They didn't replace tea, milk or coffee after our first night. They didn't refund our deposit. This is becoming a trend with hotels and motels. They request a deposit when we register and then never refund it.

Pleasant

Beds were extremely soft. Husband nearly (bald)found some black hairs on bathroom floor. Bedside lamps were not plugged in……when we plugged them in they didn’t work .

great location, reasonable pricing, on site restaurant, clean and tidy rooms, amazing water pressure in the shower, on site parking, interestingly decorated. all in all it was a great place to stay.

2 kettles in the room didn’t work tv didn’t work bathroom was leaking onto the carpet and the only way to walk into the bathroom was on wet carpet. bathroom was dirty no clean towels only one spoon for 4 people

Outside ashtrays needed cleaning. The bed was too soft. Milk in fridge and bikkies a little stale.

Convenient location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, & lovely facilities but pricey & staff need better internal

Convenient location to Golf Club, clean spacious rooms, comfortable beds, parking right outside room, lovely pool area, Happy Hour. Reception Staff were pleasant & did their best to meet our pre-notified room requests after a mixup. (Can’t comment on restaurant as didn’t eat there).

Decor was odd with collection of mismatched pictures on walls & mismatched soft furnishings. It could be so much more tasteful and contemporary with some thought. There were only an electric jug, 2 teacups & saucers, 2 mismatched spoons and 2 glasses. We wanted to make our own breakfast so would have appreciated 2 bowls, 2 plates, 2 knives, forks & spoons and a toaster. Staff seemed disorganised - I phoned ahead & no one answered so I left a voicemail about our check-in time which reception didn’t get. We were asked twice in 2 minutes by cleaners wandering around if we were leaving & wanted room serviced (we weren’t & didn’t). Staff appear to need better communication and/or more training.

Great stay

The meals from room service were delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. A hidden gem. The quirky decor in the hallways was definitely a talking point.

It was winter and quite cold in the hallways, possibly the doors could be shut in the winter.

I did not have breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The gentleman who looked after me when I check-in was very obliging.

There was no plug in the bathroom basin for me to have a shave. I intend staying there at Christmas and shall bring my own plug.

It was good.

Shower over the bath not good for older people. Lovely and quiet peaceful location.

We arrived in Sydney in shocking weather at 6pm and it was impossible to get a park because of a Wedding Party at Conference room. Although we had booked in advance we had room on the 1st floor which was impossible for my husband to get to. We did get moved to another room which was on the ground floor even the Motel looked booked out. Which we were grateful for. Room service meal was very good.

Amazing!

It was beautiful n definitely not what we expected. The service was fantastic, meals were just write better than n down the road. I would rather stay at checkers than Miramare. The music oh my! If you have family 9r business or just to chill. Checks is the place to be.

Great service with okay accommodation

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and mostly clean hotel facilities. Free tennis court and pool to use as a guest

The walls are very thin, could hear other guests in their rooms talking ect. The room doors were very heavy and so slam shut each time a guest exits, Waking me up one night. The tennis courts were under kept and need a good clean.
