Pretty property

The property was very pretty and well maintained. Its right by Odoyam beach. You can see the beach from the room. We also had fun in the pool.

Wir hatten eine sehr wohltuende Zeit. In der Nähe des Hotels kann man schöne am Meer laufen.

Das Guesthouse liegt sehr, sehr schön in der Natur und ganz nah am Meer in einem ruhigen Teil von Varkala. Man kann die Wellen sehen und ihr Rauschen hören. Die Zimmer sind bequem und die Eintrichtung ist geschmackvoll. Die Mitarbeiter des Guesthouses sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen in dem kleinen Hotelrestaurant war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Angenehm ist auch, dass es eine Swimmingpool gibt, in dem man sich erdischen kann.

The staff were very friendly. Great with the kids. And very helpful with things we needed help with. Favourite place to stay in India on our favourite beach

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer. I wish we had more time.

The hospitality given by the entire staff at Magnolia and especialy by Nijad is why they are the only property in Varkal

The best part about the property was the its proximity to the beach and away from main the cliff and crowd which gives the peace and tranquility you would want to experience while traveling to Varkala

That I don’t get to stay here every day.

Exceptional and serene

The stay at Magnolia was exceptional with close proximity to the Varkala cliff. The sea view from the suite room is astonishing. We reached early morning before sunrise and the staff was kind enough to accommodate us in a temporary room for freshening up until our room was ready for check-in. The staff also arranged local conveyance and activities nearby for us to explore. Especially, Nijad, was amazingly helpful with our every request. Overall, it was an amazing trip for our family!

Varkala trip at Magnolia resort.

We liked everything overthere like food/ staffs were very nice and friendly and it's like another home. Special thanks to Ameer bhai / Sameer bhai / Nandhu / jijoo / Nijad / salim bhai Receptionist girl all are made our vacation as memorable one thanks to all. Insha Allah would like to visit in future. Magnolia will cherish in our memories forever ♥️

Pretty good a getaway.

The place is well located. The food and host(Sameer) is damn good. Loved the balcony and spacious rooms.

Peaceful stay

The rooms were good and the ambience was quite peaceful.

It is far away from Varkala cliff. No auto/taxi service nearby. The Magnolia restaurant is the only restaurant and is very expensive.

it was a wonderfully relaxing stay that prepared us well for the rest of our tour

location and tranquility. Jerlin was incredibly helpful and polite - the airport transfer made our arrival very easy

our room was not cleaned whilst we were there and the bathroom vanity area was dirty when we arrived

Nice location...only 15 minutes by foot to the Varkalar Cliff. Staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool. Cottages are quite old, they need some renovations.

Good veranda, comfy bed, but too far from restaurants and other convenience.

We liked the big bed, the veranda, air con and fridge. scooter rental could be provided.

The food, tea and coffee was really bad. In the images it looks like a nice resort but is more simple in reality. Which does not make it a bad place, just not meeting expectation. it is also a bit far from centre and restaurants.

the magnolia is a winner, one of my favourite places in India

beautiful cottage in wonderfully kept grounds in a special location, quiet, accessible yet with an air of exclusivity.. great pool, fabulous staff, super laundry service, delicious food and drinks served to rooms.. we have visited india many times and had travelled a long way, with very different expectations and experiences. we each fell in love with Kerala and the magnolia’s simple beauty and kindness.

everything was perfect. it was difficult for the airport taxi driver to find, I suggest use of magnolias transport.. limited food available on late arrival but some fantastic eateries on beach, turn right or take a ten minute ride into varkala.

Delightful stay, with extra value added by the excellent hospitality provided by Mr Sameer. Even though I didn't get the cottage I had booked, I was upgraded to a deluxe room that offered ample space, lovely view of the sea without any compromise on privacy.. The food is yummy, and the famous Black beach is a few minutes away. The pool is just the right size and is the best means to unwind after the hectic day at the beach. I will be visiting again, on my next trip

..Its a great Place for family and is very near to beach...We were a family of 13 including kids and aged members. Staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, swimming pool was well maintained. They have a small restaurant but the food was tasty. Since the food is made only post order is received its better to order food early.. A great location and property if you are looking for a peaceful holiday.. Special thanks to the Manager Ameer and his team.
