Home away from home with a stunning view!

Stunning location with incredible Dolomite mountain views. Location close to great hikes including Seceda. Free bus passes for our stay. Our host Linda and her daughter welcomed us like family and made our stay feel like home. Very clean and homely. Thank you for such a great stay, it has been our favourite place on our European trip!

That we couldn’t stay longer.

Exceptional

we went for a week of skiing, the chalet was well situated to access three of the lifts. Our host, Linda, was very helpful regarding local tips etc given she is native to the area, and speaks 3 languages! the breakfast was continental, with bread delivered fresh from the local bakery, delicious! I cannot recommend this chalet highly enough

A charming chalet which offers stunning views and a good central location for walking.

We were greeted by a delightful couple who owned the Chalet and they were extremely helpful in getting us settled. The room was spotless and well kept and we had a small balcony which was great, as this meant we could really appreciate some stunning views of the mountains. The location was near transport which meant we could get to different local areas to walk by bus.

Perfect chalet experience in Santa Chistina Gherdeina!

Very cozy and comfortable chalet in the very center of the village of Santa Christina run by owners Adelinda and her husband Franz was the perfect location for accessing the gondola system that takes it’s passengers to high alpine trails that further explore the wondrous vistas of the Dolomites high above Val Gardena. Adelinda and Franz keep their rooms spotless and the beds are very comfortable. There was nothing about the property that wouldn’t prevent me from rating our stay there a 10. Google doesn’t do the best job of guiding drivers to the location during the last 500 meters but that is for a different review!

Very good

The garni is run by a lovely elderly couple who took us in warmly. There were some difficulties in communication at first as neither of us guests speaks fluent German or Italian, but luckily one of the owners does speak rather good English among other languages. The room had a balcony with a view and the breakfast was plentiful. Overall it was a nice place to have as a base for day trips in the surrounding mountains.

The garni is a bit hard to find by car and parking is a nightmare due to steep hills, tight corners and overall lack of space. Fortunately the location is so central that you don't really need the car while in S. Cristina. I'm ca. 2 metres tall and the bed is ca. 10 cm less than that long, so being comfortable required some innovation.

Very good

The hosts were amazingly friendly and welcoming. The room was cleaned every day and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Breakfast was great with a slightly changing menu.

The room was a bit too small. Parking space was very limited and it was difficult to park.

Wonderful stay!

The location of this hotel is perfect for reaching all the interesting places in the area. The house was clean and cosy. Our room was very clean, with a balcony and a nice view of the mountains. The owners were very kind and explained the main indications about the area. The breakfast was good also. I would recommend this place to someone else.

Owners of the Garni are very cheerful and do everything for their guests. Excellent breakfast to start the day!

Good

The owners are very friendly, breakfast was good. The room was clean and had everything I expected. The location is close to the town center, so restaurants are nearby. Bus tickets are provided for free to reach the other towns in the area.

The room had a window but there was no view of the mountains or even the sky, just another house. The bed was not so comfortable.

I had a comfortable stay.

The couple which happens to be the owner of the hotel was very nice and accommodating. Room was very cleaned and well maintained, bed - very comfortable. Amazing view. 2min walk to the bus stop, and also close to restaurants, shops, tourist info and grocery store.

Breakfast room has only 4 tables. So better wake up early if you dont want to wait. And also, there were only few options.

Mid Feb 2020 in St. Christina

Room: small, bed was too hard for me (who knows what others like). Bathroom was tiny and shower cubicle was very small (but with lots of hot water). Very clean. Breakfast was simple, tea coffee bread rolls and cold cuts, cheese and jams etc. Boiled eggs if asked for. Hosts were friendly

A bit small, especially the shower. As mentioned the bed was too hard for me but thats just me. Half way up the valley side opposite the gondela so it's a longish walk in ski boots if you keep your skis there (see comment on ski bus above).
