lovely hotel and pleasant staff would stay again.

very clean and staff were polite and pleasant, the Jamaican breakfast was cooked fresh each morning and they were happy to accommodate slight changes to the menu. On our wedding anniversary they set up the table to make us feel special for dinner

Very disappointed in the level of standard from the staff

We have stayed at the palace over 7 times

The standards from the staff were poor no line management or co-ordination since the manager Simone left the establishment the own needs to reorganise this was the worse visit we had we will not be staying here again unfortunately

Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel

Das Jamaica Palace ist ein besonderes und wunderbar ruhiges Hotel mit sehr freundlcihem Personal. Es erinnert an eine Villa aus der Kolonialzeit. Alle Räume waren sehr sauber und auch die Außenanlage war super gepflegt. Die Zimmer hatten eine sehr angenehme Größe, waren absolut sauber, die Bäder habe alle über ein sehr gutes Abluftsystem verfügt, so dass nie Feuchtigkeit in das Zimmer gezogen ist. Auch wenn das Jamaica Palace keinen eigenen Strand hat liegen einige wunderchöne Strände in direkter Umgebung und sind mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ein eigenes Auto sollte man bei einem Aufenthalt in Jamaica Palace haben, da man so am angenehmsten die Umgebung und die wunderschönen Strände erkunden kann.

A bit pricey but the receptionist and waitresses were lovely

Superb

The hotel has an amazing palace like structure, with well trained staff and large rooms. It is close to Port Antonio downtown (about 10 minutes by car) and 5 to 10 min alway from Frenchman's Cove Beach and Blue Lagoon spot. Taxis and other transportation options (such as vans) pass by in front of the hotel and they stop for you there, if you ask, making the location quite good. It has a great view and a beautiful garden, where you can have breakfast contemplating the nature.

The bathroom could be improved, with more pressurized water and height of the shower. There's no elevator, so if you stay in the first floor and have large luggage, you have to take them by stairs. Staff can help you (but they expect some tips).

Relaxing week in Port Antonio

Staff were friendly and helpful. Good size rooms, clean hotel. Grounds and pool are clean and well kept.

The hotel would benefit from an upgrade. Needs a lift to improve access for all abilities. Also tea/coffee making facilities needed in rooms. I would have liked some evening entertainment.

Our stay at the Jamaica palace hotel was fantastic.

Breakfast was great a good verity, location was outstanding great all round views.

Maybe a kettle with a little tea and coffee station in your room.

Exceptional

The food, service, staff, and the view were very refreshing. I would definitely stay here again!!!

No complaints, as long as I was in the sun and having fun, all is well. I regret not being able to stay longer.

It was an excellent stay and we will definitely go back.

Breakfast was excellent and the grounds were lovely and very well maintained. The staff too were excellent. It is definitely somewhere that is an example for other properties to follow.

An option for some rooms could probably be two twin beds for persons that are not a couple but are sharing a room. In addition, I think the rooms could also have a microwave.

A majestic heavenly oasis in Portland

The staff are welcoming, flexible, and courteous. Kudos to manager, Simone and waitress, Loris, as well as the front staff. The grounds are stunning and well manicured, the pool well kept, the rooms spacious and the restaurant well appointed. Will definitely be returning.

Most everything was excellent- just small suggestions- modernize rooms and have more JA evening food options.

Excellent to the top.

The breakfast was exceptional and our waitress Lorise was super, it was four of us and we could not have asked for more. Value for money was a wow 10 out of 10 excellent. This was my second trip to Portland Parish and the first for the others. This is a hotel worth visiting anytime. I have never slept on a round bed before, I really like the uniqueness of this. Quiet and peaceful in paradise. The garden , the flowers , wow. We will be back and we will be taking others with us.

There was nothing to dislike, the compound was clean, the restaurant food and service excellent, workers excellent, excellent overall. You are talking to someone who has visited almost all the hotels in Montego Bay. This hotel is a most go to. I would like if it was an all inclusive and not only breakfast.

Overall it was a good trip and I will definitely come back.

The breakfast was delicious and well presented. You need to put more on the plate. .

The food and drinks at the restaurants were too expensive. And there wasn't a variety.

Loved our stay

Loved the grounds and the views. It was beautiful. Would definitely recommend staying! Breakfast was also included. We really enjoyed our stay, it was so relaxing!

I would recommend driving to Boston jerk center for some local food and drinks, as the dinner was over priced for the small portions.

The original room had a smell of paint, however when I expressed my dissatisfaction it was quickly changed. The other room didn't seem as big but it was comfortable. The bathroom had water running from the bath over on to the floor when the pipe in bath was turned on.

Wonderful luxurious and spacious surroundings, but could improve amenities and more lively ambiance

Location was good. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good but limited in choice.

really beautiful hotel, Ameika, the receptionist was the best and the nicest member of staff. they’d be lost with out her!! owner wanted to charge me for 4 teabags!! a bit mean, so left a bad taste in my mouth. Everything else was fine.

Excellent bed and bath, beautiful artwork and surroundings, spacious and very clean. Hearty Jamaican breakfast included was excellent.

Jamaican breakfast was great but dinner was not good. Menu needs better options, food quality was not good and is overpriced.

Overall good, enjoyed the local beaches, waterfalls, Boston jerk and the blue lagoon was magnificen.
