Fabulous location, amazing sea views, right near the bus stops both ways, so excellent for trips around the Island! 5 mins walk if that, to the main Stalis town and all the many restaurants and shops and supermarkets. 5 mins walk to the beach, lovely gardens with beautiful flowers and butterflies, birds chirping away (owner has some in the gardens), lovely and cool with the stone floors, all cooking amenities you need if want to cook, cheaper to eat out though! There are three lovely puppies onsite that greet you and if you wish you can adopt them for your stay! If not then they don’t bother you. Constant very hot water, good shower (typical old Greek style so if you keep your back to the wall you won’t get any water anywhere). I had local friends come to visit and they said it was like a traditional village house but in the middle of everything you need. I loved this place as soon as I arrived, and had booked to stay a week, and I immediately booked another week, and even then I extended again for a further two days. It’s great value for money and I would thoroughly recommend this place. Excellent stay and I will be recommending this to fellow travellers back home!
The stairs can be a little steep on a hot day, but you get used to them. It adds to the character of the place and you wouldn’t get the sea views without them!

Nothing.
No reception and no instructions on notice board as promised so had to phone the owner to come and show me the appartment. This was the worst place I've ever stayed in. The decor in all rooms including the bathroom was grim. The smell was awful and to make matters worse there were 82 unlit outside steps to climb. I will never book it again.

very clean, beautiful and friendly place

This was such a cozy place that I ended up staying 4 or 5 nights. I was here in Winter and there weren’t many restaurants open in Stalida but there was a large grocery store so I was happy to cook rather than go eating out in the nearby town, Malia. The heater kept the apartment warm.
The bathroom floor tends to get wet from the shower

Price and close to bus stop.
The owner manages many places in a few locations, like this one, Memories, Alexandra Rooms, etc so he can't be bothered to give a good service. I only asked for Wi-Fi connection and it was failing. I messaged him (3 times) to get hot water and A.C. working and he ignored me so I spent a freezing night and no shower. No face to face check-in but he knocks in the morning to claim the payment in cash.
Mouldy shower. Very old furniture. Creepy place. The key for apartment 2 doesn't work properly.

I love this property and have stayed many times over the years. The owners are great and they worked with me when my travels got messed up. I really appreciated their flexibility! I love the studios…they are cute and have that Cretan flair.

We liked the distance from the beach and we liked that it was far enough from the road, it was comfortable.
It could be cleaner than it was and the shows was uncomfortable, the curtains are too short, the douche couldn’t hold it self and the place needs uplifting

Location and staff are lovelly we also like the view from the balconie and the style how the apartment is furbished.
There is a few thing what need to be repaired or replace like fridge and the previous guest broke the key in to the door from inside.

Very nice staff and localization. Near from the beach and bus stop. Very near from hiking route. Lots of shops and restaurants.
I didn't like my apartament so I change it to another. Lots problems with ants, fridge (doors didn;t want to close) and standard... (very average).

Just the location

- The view
- the fridge was working
- The air conditioner was a bit loud but it worked fine
- The bus stop was right next to the entrance
- There was mold in some cabins. It stank
- the dishes weren’t clean. Some of them had dead animals in it
- the cleaner entered our apartment without our permission. We didn’t know when she would come. And one day she got inside without us being there.
- The shower had only cold water. It was right next to the toilet. Also it had no shower curtain and was so small that the water got everywhere.
- The sink was loose and shaky. Also no hot water
- We didn’t have hand soap
- In the kitchen area we found mold with animals inside
- there was no dish soap. We had to buy it as same as a sponge
- the marquise on the terrace was completely cut off, so there was no shadow.
- The table was made of plastic and so were the chairs. The table surface was completely tattered
- The bedsheet was dirty
