Pretty of space, great location, very private

How was great for our weekend stay. It comfortably fits 15 people easily and you don’t feel like you are on top of each other. Plenty of spaces in the house for different moods and the kitchen was great. Not to mention the proximity to the mountain. The host was great with communication too. 10/10 would book again!

The house was great for our family vacation that included 11 adults and 2 children. Beautiful secluded location with views of Mount Snow. Nearby town center had most of what we needed (eg, groceries, restaurants).

It was a large well designed house with very responsive and helpful owner.
We asked for early check in and late check out ( although we checked out almost on time) he coordinated with cleaning team and that helped us.
Very close to mount snow lounge ( we walked there in 20 min).
Great location, Great house, Great owner!

We are a large group of 3 generations from 2 families. Our stay at West Dover VT was fantastic! The house and grounds were big and roomy. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. We loved exploring the area. Would definitely return. Thanks!

Weekend getaway
This is a beautiful home it is bigger than it shows. We had a family reunion with 10 adults. This home had more than enough space to accommodate all. Nice big back deck area, game room downstairs it had something for everyone. We did have a few issues with a lack of some supplies it wasn't anything major. Sue the owner was great, very responsive to emails. This one is definitely on my list to come back again.

Great house for ski vacation
A great ski- house for 3/4 families on the Mt. Snow resort. A very short drive to mount snow drop zone and parking. It would be a healthy walk to lift in regular boots it you wanted to walk - it’s possible. Host was responsive. House was very clean and beds were all comfy. Foozball, ping pong and tower of board games kept the teens entertained for a few hours away from their phones. Only areas for improvement: The heat was very low upon our very late arrival. If we checked in early it would have been fine. If it’s cold and you are checking in late consider asking the host to turn main zones up before your arrival. Also, for the room rate we payed, it would have been nice to have been provided mini shampoos and soaps for showers and facial tissues.

Perfect Mt Snow Stay
This house is perfect for a large group! The pictures don’t do it justice- it’s huge and has so much character! It’s a 2 minute drive from Mount Snow and a XC skiing/snowshoeing place. Would definitely stay here again for a VT trip!

Enjoyable
The accommodations were excellent. Enough space for our group of 12. 2 min drive to the mountain is beneficial too! Plenty of parking if your group is heading up from various starting points.

Vermont Comfort and Charm
This large house with beautiful views of Mt Snow offers both comfort and charm. The elegant living room has a wonderful gas fireplace. Comfortable beds with nice linens. There are lots of stairs which can be tricky for a toddler but I highly recommend this house. The host was most helpful.

Disappointing state of the house
I will preface the review by saying that the owner did give us a 1 night out 7 refund due to the state of the home and our need to leave early because of our concerns regarding the house. The location was tremendous and the size of the house wonderful for a large family, thus the 2 stars. However, the degree of neglect could not be ignored. The mattress covers on all the beds were in a dismal state. Worn and some dirty. Torn and dirty bed skirts. There was a dead mouse in a trap under the dresser in the main bedroom which had been there for some time, given the amount of dust on top of it. Thank goodness one of the children didn't find it and pick it up! The dishwasher was disgusting and there were no dish towels in the kitchen. When we went to make coffee on the first morning there were old moldy coffee grounds left in the coffee maker. The towels all smelled of mildew after 1 use and there were barely enough to go around. The air quality in the lower level is what forced us to leave early. There was a permeating smell of mold and mildew, and the children all were suffering from coughs and runny noses. And there was a tremendous amount of dust and dirt under all of the beds especially in the bunkroom. When I communicated this to the owner after our departure her suggestion was that I should have opened some windows and run a fan to clear out the air. It was December in Vermont!
I did not notify the owner, or their maintance/property manager while we were there as these issues seemed more ongoing and not just a one and done. After our departure I did contact the owner who did say she was sorry that we did not enjoy our stay, but that we should have contacted this individual so they could have seen to these issues. I don't agree. These are things that should be addressed prior to anyone coming into a home. Our family has stayed at numerous homes over the years, and this has been the first case of extreme neglect. Maybe I could have given the rating 3 stars if the beds had been comfortable, but sadly they were not.

Great family home!
We had a wonderful stay at this spacious getaway near Mt Snow. Plenty of room for our multiage group to spread out and relax…. We enjoyed the quiet deck and views of the mountains. Kids loved exploring all the different spaces including downstairs game room. Kitchen was well stocked and we were easily able to set up and feel at home. We enjoyed the eclectic decor and waking up to views of the mountains. Close to all the amenities and activities at Mt Snow. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location!
The location of this place is fantastic. Especially if you like to ski or mountain bike, given that Mt Snow is basically down the road. The house worked well for our group. The large living room was probably the most well loved area for us. It would be better for a group with kids because they would have plenty of separate space to go play. As some others have said the only downsides might be some general upgrades that should probably happen at some point. We only had 1 dish towel which was a bit annoying but not the end of the world. The center island in the kitchen was definitely built for Andre The Giant. We ended up using it as storage space because most of us are short and couldn’t really use it any other way…lol. It was a lovely stay and I could see this place being fantastic in the winter for skiing.

Amazing house and location
This was an amazing rental. The house was even more spacious than the pictures showed, great for a large group. The two master bedrooms were gorgeous. The living room was large and comfortable and the game room with a ping pong table provided lots of fun. The location and views were stunning, and the host was responsive and helpful. I'd highly recommend!

Needs a little TLC
The setting was awesome and the views were amazing, but the house needs some general maintenance and better service. Door handles were a problem. Dryer was broken and no alternative was provided. Some TV's didn't work, broken tile, peeling wallpaper, etc.

Perfect summer weekend!
Communication with Sue was easy and always prompt. The house was amazing, very clean with plenty of space for our large group to spread out. There was so much to do in the area…we had a blast! Although we usually visit VT during winter, we would definitely return in summer and would highly recommend this property. Thank you, Sue!

Weekend Golf
The setting and architecture of this mountain home is truly amazing. Much of the feel of the place reminded me of something you find out west in Wyoming and Colorado.
We enjoyed a great dinner, our first night, in their beautiful dinning room and the 2nd night dinner was outside on the veru spacious deck. Our crew will be talking about this must see home for years into the future. We were pleasantly suprised how well stocked the kitchen was. We'll be looking forward to renting this lovely home again. Thank you!

Really cool house!
This house is great! We were 9 people total and it felt like we could have fit another 9. The pictures do not do justice. The vibe in this house was really cool, every room was different and inviting. I communicated with the property owner Sue, through Email and she was very sweet and helpful. I chose this house based on size and previous reviews and it did not disappoint. The only thing the house was missing was a hot tub which would have been nice after a long day on the mountain. For parties of 10 or more people this is the spot, for sure. If winter stays around through March I will likely rent this house again.

Perfect House for our Large Group
My wife and I had our two kids (26 and 28 years old) and 8 of their friends for a weekend enjoying the outdoors in VT, MA, and NY. The house was perfect for us. Lots of room in the house. The 'kids' could stay downstairs in the ping pong room as late as they wanted while my wife and I could sleep peacefully upstairs. Everyone slept well with so many bedrooms. Kitchen had everything one needed including two coffee makers (Mr Coffee types). The gas grill on the deck off the kitchen worked perfectly and even had an extra tank of gas if needed. Most went white-water rafting on Sat at Crabapple Rafting while others went hiking and on Sunday we rented a couple of boats at Saratoga Springs Lake. Also visited some of the beautiful villages. There was a Shaw's market 15 minutes away that had everything we needed.
The house was perfect for a large group or anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Great location
The house is very close to the ski resort and appropriate for large groups. The owner was very quick to respond and helpful. The view is beautiful and there is a ping pong table.
There are a few things that need maintenance and the rooms don’t have curtains which was not ideal for napping children.

Spacious & Convenient
We had a large group stay here for a ski weekend. It was a great success.
Pros: location is fantastic, very convenient to mountain. Great room is spacious, plenty of room for all to hang out. We found pretty much everything we needed in the kitchen though a large platter or 2 might have been appreciated. It's great to have 2 ovens when cooking for a crowd.
Cons: decor is quirky for sure, but you can see that from the photos, so no surprises - lots of superfluous architectural details of different styles, sometimes all in 1 room. Amusing but not a problem. Layout is a little disjointed so flow is an issue into dining room but not a huge deal. The table in the DR is too large for the room - you can't get chairs on the ends but we were able to seat 8 easily anyway, though the armchairs were awkward.
All in, would definitely recommend

Family reunion
Great home for a small (18 people) family reunion. Most of us stayed on site, while a couple of families stayed nearby. House is very thoughtfully and strikingly decorated. Well-equipped kitchen. Gorgeous views. Lots of different spaces to gather, including a deck, large living area, dining areas and game rooms. Some sunny airy bedrooms and some dark cozy bedrooms. (No curtains in the sunny rooms, so if you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring an eye mask.) A minor issue was very quickly remedied. A couple of other small issues were minor annoyances, but overall the place is great! I keep hearing from various relatives about what a wonderful time they had at our reunion.

Awesome Green Mountains retreat
We came back for again this year after having a great experience in 2018. We had fantastic time: the property is very special and perfect for a large group (10 this year; 14 last year)

Great home and great location!
Our stay was fantastic. We had a total of 5 adults and 7 kids and there was room to spare. The house was clean and ready for us to use upon arrival. The only reason for not giving a five star review was because of water heater issue and some inside finishes.
The water heater was fixed during our stay but the communication was cumbersome. The responses came via email (which were prompt) but I feel like a phone number would be better. I didn't like having to check my email for a response or when I had a question.
Also the game room needs some TLC. The Darts are all missing for the dart board and I had to search for the ping pong paddles and balls. They were in different colests on the floors.
The entertainment center in the great room needs to be updated. The DVD and VCR did not work. We spent nearly all of our time out and about but at night it would have been nice to put on a movie for the Kids. It just did not match the quality of the rest of the home. The grill is also not in great working order, it turns on but its missing grates inside so it doesn't cook well.
Regardless the house is gorgeous, clean, well decorated, and the views from every room are spectacular. The home is should be five stars but lacked some for the finishes inside to get it there. I would book it again but I would bring darts, my weber charcoal grill, and a Firestick or Apple TV to watch a movie.

Five Star Property and Stay
We are a family of 9 and three children who stayed for my daughter's wedding. The house is more spacious than the pictures show. The six bedrooms were all unique and the house is beautifully furnished. It was very comfortable and we didn't have a chance to use the two game rooms. Sue answered my questions immediately so management was fabulous to work with. Better than any property I stayed in. The house is located a minutes from Grand Summit Hotel. All in all, I would recommend this property .

Unique, huge and lovely home located less than 5 minutes from main lodge.
A group of friend and I (8 adults and 7 kids) recently enjoyed a long weekend at the Bartlett Lane house. Overall this was a great experience! The house is very big. There are several large sitting rooms where adults and kids could find space to chill and talk, play board games etc. Their are three separate eating areas including the kitchen island, kitchen table and long formal dining room table. Each bedroom is set up with towels and linens and there was a working washer and dryer. The house is the only house (off property) you could see from the mountain! Plenty of parking as well. We really enjoyed our stay.
