The location and the pool
The beds were uncomfortable and very old there was a trip hazard around seating where gazebo used to be every person in villa had a trip over it and the children fell frequently hurting their toes and feet more towels would have been good wasn’t enough longe space for ten people television was too small and disliked the fact that the villas on opposite sides were full of youngsters causing havoc I know this wasn’t owners fault but definitely made me consider twice about returning next year we were at villa six last year and didn’t see any young groups around the villas villa was clean and tidy owners were very helpful with groceries and taxis which were much appreciated but villa could do with a bit of update and more laundry and home comforts

Plenty of room for a family of 7 over 3 generations. The 3 bedrooms upstairs have en suite bathrooms which was a bonus.
Grandchildren used the pool every day.
Spar shop & bars/restaurants a short walk around to opposite side of Marina.
The only negative was the beds in the downstairs bedroom were upgraded camp beds & could be noisy when you rolled over in them.

Close location to the Marina, with a supermarket, bars, restaurants and activities for children. My advice would be to use Just Eat/delivery services for food/drinking water ect and make it even easier on yourselves.

The house itself is lovely, lots of space, outside area and lovely pool for the kids. The harbour area was pleasant, it was nice having shops bars and restaurants nearby, they do get noisy but you can't hear anything inside the house itself.
The house could have been cleaner and better maintained, there were issues with the air con reported by others and the house does feel unloved with a pretty poor standard of decor and fixtures and fittings. It is a pity because with a bit of love and an upgrade, it could be amazing.

Location is great for visits to the pretty Marina which you can see from some of the bedrooms. The villa is spacious and the kitchen was well equipped with utensils, toaster etc. All areas were very clean on arrival. The layout of the property is three bedrooms upstairs, each with it's own full bathroom and there is a further small bedroom off the lounge without a bathroom however, there is one off the lounge virtually next door. The dining table was large to sit 8-10 people and the beds were comfortable. The games room had a football table and you could also play table tennis which was a great idea.
Plenty of good eateries running along the harbour which is full of a variety of boats both private and tourist. There is a Spa shop which sells everything you might need also. The kids loved going on the children's fair ground style rides, bowling and there is even an indoor karting track for older teens/adults.
The pool was good if not a little cold towards the end of October, it is mostly in the shade.
The villa generally lacked some TLC and there was not much of a homely feel about it. Walls were bare apart from a large print in the lounge which had only one sofa to sit on which could be a problem if you have a full house! The dining chairs seemed a little cheap and unstable and one seat came off, but they did the job. Outside there is a BBQ which I would not have used as it was very rusty. Onto the stairs - they look beautiful in stained wood, very modern spiral design up to the bedrooms. However, the outer edge of the stairs ran against full windows with blinds but there was a gap between the windows frames' and the stair edge which was very dangerous as we had a two year old and 5 year old with us. To help with this it appears that makeshift gates were put on the entrance to the basement room but not going up the stairs. The same type of gate was put up on the landing at the to of the stairs - they were wooden concertina style flimsy things like garden trellis which just hooked loosely to fasten - this villa is not suitable for young children!
The shower in our room did not work correctly as when I pulled up the tap diverter it just came out, so we had showers with the tap running at the same time. My son's room had similar shower problems. His room had a balcony, the door would not lock, along with security issues and keeping small children away this was not as expected.
I felt sorry for the villa because it is short of being looked after properly and could be made much better and to the standard you expect when you pay ex amount for a private villa.
I hope that these problems can be fixed and although my report is quite lengthy, I would return with a group of friends rather than children.
