Great family house to stay away for a weekend.

The pool was fantastic for the kids but it was cold - not heated at all (advertised heating) so they swam only 2 of the 4 days.
The bbq should be clean. We cleaned the grill (as it hadn’t been cleaned) and then when we went to use it, it lit up with flames, as it the tray underneath was full of old oil. It took along time to go out, we had the fire extinguisher ready. It’s a disaster waiting to happen.
The cooker kept turning off while using. Made cooking very difficult.
The house was not clean. Dust, mould on kitchen floors, spider webs, grease on the cooker and range hood, bedcover stains, dirty bins in bathrooms.
With the property being expensive we were expecting amazing unfortunately we were disappointed.

My family enjoyed our stay. The location made for excellent views and was a short drive to the beach and shops.
The house was great for our extended family as we all had enough space and privacy when we needed it and plenty of communal space to spend time together.

Sunset Retreat was a great property for a get away with friends. Comfortably accommodated 3 families. The views of the sunset from the property were fantastic. The pool was great and nice and warm. Only a short walk to the Normanville shops. Very quiet and peaceful location and even saw some wildlife (Koala and Kangaroo) . Would recommend.

This is a fabulous property for a group of friends or 2 or 3 families. Plenty of space, beautiful views and large pool and great tennis court. Enough outdoor furniture and everything you would need in the kitchen for a large group. Lots of games, DVDs, tennis racquets and fans if the heat is extreme. We will definitely be coming back!

The house had the most beautiful views, and the pool and tennis court were a great way to occupy kids and adults. A very short (up/downhill) walk to local cafes was also a great addition.

House and grounds are lovely- tennis court great. A kangaroo jumped through the grounds! The pool was green when we arrived and it took several hours and a number of phone calls before it was fixed - no fun when you arrive with 5 kids all tired from the drive wanting to swim. Other than that it was lovely.

We rented the property for four nights and were offered a fifth due to the pool heating not working. The layout of the house suited all four families - each with two kids, the loungeroom options also enabled the kids to watch a movie in one space whilst the adults caught up in another! Julie was very responsive to any questions we had - one day we had a large amount of bees hovering around the house and she immediately called a bee keeper to assist. The views were beautiful. Outdoor furniture on the balconies would really be enjoyed. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils for all - the stove top does take a long while to hear up. The kids loved the tennis court, the local area is fantastic for exploring, highly recommend Forktree Brewery for dinner, we had a great time
