About this cabin rental

This cute, newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage sits on the West Bay of historic Little St. Germain Lake. It comes with a private pier and paddle boat and it sits next to Hiller’s Pine Haven Resort. The lake frontage is sandy and great for swimming!

The cottage offers an open concept living/dining room and kitchen that overlooks the west bay of Little Saint Germain Lake. The first bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom is set up with a Full-sized bed. The living room offers sleeping accommodations with a Full-sized sleeper sofa.

Cozy Cottage is just a short walk from some of St. Germain's most popular restaurants and from the St. Germain Hike Bike Trail that goes for miles in all directions! Take some time off from your hectic everyday schedule to stay at Cozy Cottage and see what relaxation is all about!

Started tough as the unit wasn't cleaned upon our arrival. Required contacting Angela and due to cleaning staff issues she came to cabin and cleaned. As we arrived 2 hours early to find this issue, as check in was 4 pm, we waited until 3:30, returned and was not cleaned. Called at that time. Got into cabin around 5. Check out was at 8am so due to delay requested later checkout which was okayed, that was very appreciated. Weather was perfect. Was not aware of numerous steps to go down to dock, but it affordable a great view. Did not care for an 8 am checkout. The toaster needs to be replaced. Great location to bike trails and quiet roads to bike on. Beautiful lake to kayak on. Fun fishing off the pier. Adequate comfort, for us it was a great get away. Thank you Angela for getting it started and cleaning the cabin.

Everything was perfect. The owners are amazing people. The cottage is very cozy and the views from the deck are unmatched. Perfect for a couple or small family stay.

We loved our Labor Day weekend stay at the Cozy Cabin. We loved having the owners right next door because they couldn’t have been nicer to us and our baby grandson. Cute cabin, very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the very clean lake.

Having our own dock for our kayaks, the bike trail right down the road, and being able to walk into St. Germain met all our needs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cozy cottage is exactly that. The location is both beautiful and convient. Upon arrival there was an eagle in the tall pine by our cottage. Waking up every morning to the view amazing. The cottage was spotless, beds were comfortable, only suggestion would be to get a better couch, otherwise no complaints.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was within walking distance to Main Street businesses and the bike trails, which we utilized every day. The cottage, while being "cozy", had all the amenities we needed for our family of 4 to comfortably call home for the week. Having access to the lake was a huge factor in us renting and the views were incredible. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to staying there again.

Cozy Cottage met out needs in every way including cleanliness. There are nice personal touches without taking away the Northwood's feeling. Owners, Ron and Nota, were next door for a few days which added nice company to our experience. We are back again next year!

The Cozy Cottage was a great experience. Love the location. Kids could ride their bikes to Cathy's candy shop. We could swim by our pier and catch fish. Beautiful lake view. Saw many Eagles flying. It is a Cozy Cottage a little on the small size but loved it. Shower was a little challenging. We will come again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well our stay started with the cabin not being ready at check-in time, which was disappointing. At best the cabin is suited for a max of 2 adults and 2 small children. Stating a max capacity of 6 is very misleading. Wi-Fi was spotty at best. Lake is very busy (loud) with boat traffic, jet-skis etc. Has to be better options elsewhere at this price point.

And it was such a lovely spot on the lake. The dock was perfect for us to park our boat. We were close to town, so we were able to get anything we needed for our stay. The property was also very clean, and it had the bare essentials. However, we could just tell immediately the property owners did everything they could to save a buck. I've actually never rented a property that did not supply bath towels. I think there were like two dish towels and maybe a couple of hand towels. Garbage bags and toilet paper were even limited... two bags and two rolls. I mean, luckily we didn't need more than that. But the kicker was the hand and dish soap. They were both so watered down that they were practically clear. I washed my hands with STRAIGHT WATER. There was no soap in the bottle, which was almost totally full. Yea... full of water! They allow you to use the charcoal grill, but don't provide any charcoal. These are all things we have no problem providing ourselves, but when I rent a vacation home these are not things I normally think to bring.
